🚨 Avoid Device Deal – No Customer Service, No Accountability, No Refunds! 🚨 Device Deal is great at taking your money but terrible at customer service. If you ever have an issue, expect a nightmare. I bought a QNAP TVS-872XT NAS for $3,175, expecting a premium product. Instead, I received a faulty unit with serious Thunderbolt failures, making it completely unusable as a media server. What Went Wrong? • Device Deal refused to take responsibility and sent me on a wild goose chase with QNAP. • After months of back and forth, QNAP stopped responding entirely. • Device Deal promised a response by 12 February 2025—they ignored their own deadline and never responded. What You Can Expect from Device Deal: ❌ They will ignore your consumer rights. ❌ They will stall and delay until you give up. ❌ They will NOT help you if your product is faulty. 🚨 UPDATE: Device Deal is Lying to Cover Up Their Inaction 🚨 Device Deal falsely claims they responded on February 11—they didn’t. • They never offered to send me anything, never followed up, and completely ignored their own deadline. • The only message I received was from QNAP (not Device Deal), asking me to test again with a cable they provide—after five months of troubleshooting. • Device Deal is pretending they were involved when they have done nothing. 💥 This is a major failure under Australian Consumer Law (ACL). ✅ The NAS is unfit for purpose—it cannot function as a media server. ✅ The manufacturer has failed to repair it within a reasonable timeframe. ✅ Device Deal is legally responsible for a refund but refuses to comply. 🚫 DO NOT BUY FROM DEVICE DEAL. They will ignore you if anything goes wrong. I have filed complaints with Consumer Affairs Victoria and the ACCC and will take them to VCAT to force them to follow the law. 🔥 Think twice before buying from Device Deal. If you ever have a problem, expect months of excuses and zero accountability.

I'm a return customer because they have competitive pricing on Unifi products.

I bought EufyCam S3 Pro. They did not supply 1 TB inbuilt hard drive with eufycam home base, they only supply 16 GB hard drive. But with the same model (Model # T8894TW1, which device deal sales) EufyCam itself, Harvey Norman, JB HI-FI all sell with 1 TB hard drive. Also, I paid $21.80 for express courier service but they sent it to me through Australia Post and it took one week. Even I did email to them but they never answered to my email.

Bit of a bad experience for me (give them a try), so i ordered a product and initially i misread the website, thought it said in stock but that was online, trick for new players.... so I followed up my order on friday i followed up was told Monday then i followed up on tueaday told and i was told ill get a tracking number later received an email saying warehouse had identified and fixed the issue so there was issues if I had not kept following up wouldn't have been resolved and I'd of potentially been waiting for weeks to be fixed. Anyway my main gripe with this is when my wife collected the product the staff weren't overly helpful as she forgot the order number at home eventually staff looked it up and the staff member said to her oh yeah the guy who follows up to much. I wouldn't have followed up as much if I hadn't been told oh it will be in tomorrow. So my experience was less than I felt was great particularly comments on how much I followed up. Hope your experience was better than mine

I trusted this company because of the positive reviews but ended up being Very disappointed and loss of $610. After reading online about handset I found mix information about the suitability of this model of handset so I have called them to find out if this handset will work with my normal landline. I asked so many questions to make sure this will work, and the sales guy assured me that this will work for sure. All of this was over the phone before buying it online (not that there is another way of buying anyway) as anyone else did my homework before the purchase. I also notified him that 2 other companies told me that this isn’t going to work but I trusted his knowledge and reviews and here I am now with a phone that doesn’t work. It’s a phone which needs to have internet-based line. Only after when I asked to help to connect as it wasn’t working, only then they told me these needs a special System, and I should change my provider and get VoIP service for this to work and wouldn’t take the phone back! Dishonest sales team and when I told the manager the situation, he wouldn’t believe me and told me to provide recording of the conversation with the sales guy without even checking with him the entire conversation. He told me that my stuff is trained, and this can’t be true that I am lying. First, it is illegal to record conversations without the person’s approval and I find it is very unprofessional to tell the customer to send the voice recording so he can believe me what the sales guy advised. Just the way the manager handled entire situation was rude, didn’t even try to think maybe it’s the sales guy to check with him but no he went straight to terms and conditions that you have opened the packaging which means we can’t do anything about it. Don’t trust this companies reviews they mean nothing. It sucks to be victim.

Bad experience. While I purchase Epson printer, the scratch is found on the button and it does not look like brand new item. I requested to change another one and it was rejected.

Took 4 days to dispatch a simple ssd, took another 5 days in shipping (IN THE SAME CITY) and then the cherry on top… DRIVE IS DOA - never shopping from here again

DO NOT make any purchase from here. They delivery slower than AusPost. And when you ask the order status, customer service will act like it is your fault to not be patient enough even the order delayed a few days. They customer service is rude and useless. Can't tell all the quality of their product, but I will not buy anything from this website again.

I bought the Kaspersky Anti Virus Product Key and after 2 x attempt to get the product key delivered to me via email. I decided to go to a reputable dealer as I could not wait any longer. Device Deal was slow and only after the 3rd contact 3 days later did they send me an email with the product key. They are very slow to respond and I will not recommend family, friends or colleagues to do business with them. They are simply not up to industry standards. Don't be fooled by the good prices, since it takes forever to get an answer out of them. Google unfortunately does not allow a zero star rating so I had to give them one to get this posted

Very competitive price for Kaspersky software. The product key was sent to me quickly and it worked fine. Update 2022: Bought again from Device Deal and I made a mistake and bought 2 same items instead of 1. I came to realise the mistake later and contacted their customer service and they fixed it for me in less than 1/2 hour. Great customer service.

I purchased Eufy cameras from Device Deal's website. Seamless buying process with immediate email confirmation. Following my purchase, I had a query about it, so I called their 1300 number next morning, but as with every other 13/1300/1800 numbers these days, the tone that 'all our operators are terribly busy/helping other customers' started playing even though I called just 1 minute past their opening hour and was on hold for almost 20-25 minutes. So, went to their website chat which was much quicker and prompt and solved my query. The product arrived within 72 hours. So far, I am quite pleased with the overall experience. I hope the experience would remain similar if I have to contact DD for warranty repairs/returns (though, I hope I don't have to) in future. I would suggest DD to keep their 1300 number or chat line open for at least few hours on one weekend day. Happy to consider DD for my future purchase.
