I will not recommend this to anyone. Rooms are very dirty and very old. Service is extremely poor.. The toilet was very dirty and there was no at least a shower curtain.. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the room. Look at the photos.

Nice room with working heater, good for a one night stay. There was chewing gum in the closets and on the table but otherwise it was good. Good location. The rooms are connected so beware of disturbing other guests. Toaster, kettle, fridge provided.

Gets the job done. Hot showers. Beds are totally fine. Can park outside room door. We had a big trailer and room for that out the way and off the road

Terrible..you not allow to cancel your booking..I made a booking and pay in full amount.After I didn't get to go due to some emergency issue , I call up to cancel and they refuse to refund me and not even change the date of check in...once you book and pay for that all.. I recommend do not stay at that hotel ....

Coffee etc facilities, crockery etc very basic abd some mould in the shower but the beds excellent.

I spent 2 weeks staying here so I could be near my elderly mum in hospital and I couldn’t have chosen better. The room was very clean, the hot water & shower were excellent, the bed was very comfortable and it had everything I needed (eg a microwave). The price was very very reasonable. Lillian the manager couldn’t have been more accommodating, gracious and professional. The other staff were fantastic also. I was only able to extend my stay bit by bit as we didn’t know when mum would be discharged from hosp, but the staff were fantastic, always keeping my room free in advance just in case I needed to stay longer, which actually happened several times. I was so impressed that I didn’t hesitate to choose this motel a week later for one night. Thank you Lillian and staff for making me feel very at home and welcome! PS yes it’s on Princes HWY, but no it’s NOT noisy in the rooms because it’s on the service road. And there is no traffic on the HWY late at night.

I have been coming down to Melbourne a lot this past couple weeks and out of the many hotels/motels I have stayed in. This one is the best so far, friendly staff and the room plus bath room was tidy and smelled fresh and clean 10/10. (The other hotels I have stayed in cost alot more and definitely do not present as well as this motel)

Checked in and the bloke on reception couldn't have been more helpful. I love it when you are greeted with a smile. Rooms are very clean and tidy. This motel represents excellent bang for the buck if you are going to Sandown Raceway. The only negative is the traffic noise from SpringVale Rd. Ask for a room up the back if you are a light sleeper.

Such awesome facilities & staff. The rooms are huge, bed's super comfy, shower is hot. Had an issue that got fixed up really quickly by Lillian & her amazing staff. Will definately be staying again next time we're in the area.

My rating is Good, but not available! Well positioned for activities at Sandown Raceway and a good price for a twin. We stayed for 3 nights and had a good, if not great experience owing to a noisy neighbour! But after alerting management they were quieter! Older but clean motel, room freshly renovated & friendly staff plus the pub is in walking distance, so a good choice I found!!

I called these at between 8/9pm, Lilian the receptionist was very nice, she has good customer service and walk me through the process. Rooms good, beds good, showers good, overall experience very good. I would book with them again if needed.

Great little hotel, it has a nice sports bar, could be updated a little more updated, but it's alright, the food is sports bar average, nothign super special, but a great all round place 7.5/10

Good size room, clean, bed comfortable, shower good, convenient location, hosts very friendly and accommodating. Reasonable rates. Initially booked for 3 nights stayed about 14. Would stay again.

Friendly staff and a quiet place to stay and relax

January 24th 2021. Due to an unfortunate series of events & at a late stage of arrival this Motel was very understanding on late cancellation & although I offered to pay they accepted my problem gracefully & hopefully were able to relet the booked room. Although I did not stay there on this date I was most impressed with the office staff’s consideration. When I am able to resume this trip I will certainly be contacting Sandown Heritage Motel. Recently stayed at the Sandown Heritage Motor Inn. I got to say I was greeted with friendly staff and had a pleasant stay. The place was clean and quiet. I would recommend it to everyone. Great job guys! Keep it up!
