Called 10 times today No one bothers to pick up the phone Absolutely disgraceful customer service
Has great products with great service. They also match prices with other stores. It's also conveniently located with other similar stores for ease of shopping. Highly recommend this store. It also does home delivery of large products in a safe and cost effective manner.
The guy that helped us at customer pick up of a printer today was friendly and helpful. He made it very easy for us.
An understaffed retail store which plays dodge ball with phone calls and customers. If they happen to pick up their phone, they will promptly end it if they can not solve the problem which they themselves instigated. Now that’s an interesting way to win the game, by closing your eyes and pretending you were never there in the first place.
We came in store today to get a tv, fridge, washing machine, microwave etc. Gazi was wonderful, had incredible product knowledge and beautiful customer service. He spend a very generous amount of time with us and couldn’t have been more helpful if he tried! Very impressed :) Thanks Gazi and team !!!
My experience with them sooo bad I spend around 30min on the phone but they hang out on me, discussing behaviours from them. Hope high managers see this review.
Purchased Hisense Fridge 12 months old and twice internal light has failed. Support from Goodguys is woeful, on the phone for an Hour and the phone rings out. Gold Support not willing to assist and said you need to go to store because you are not a member.
Generally pretty good. Prices V competitive. The CONCIERGE program used to be great. Not as good now as they've reduced the amount of low priced items, so unless you want to buy another appliance, your redemption options are rather limited. They EXPLAIN at time that you have FOUR days to use your vouchers. Some other benefits are less clear (such as external offers). Phone ordering CAN be DIFFICULT (called before 3:30 pm on a friday. Bounced back to desk multiple times, NO CALL back. INSIST on SERVICE even if you have to talk to the store manager). In store service varies from GREAT to UNINTERESTED. Seems to depend on which person/department you need. I WANTED to order a SINK MIXER. Also, the cheap items tend to be under stocked when the concierge vouchers are sent. Get in early.
Nunawading Store - I guess the prices are OK, but nothing exceptional compared to others. Delivery is hopeless, stayed home from work for a day, initially deliery before 9am, then 1pm and still waiting to confirm delivery at 4.30pm. Not going back.
Bought a Dimplex portable aircon and as it was a floor model, they advised us it would not come with a remote. This was fine. We took it home and found it needed a venting kit (hose to outside) to operate properly. The salesman didn’t know this or tell us this, or fill out the paperwork properly. He also wasn’t particularly knowledgeable or sound in his advice about the products. The unit also has a hole in the filter which was not made known to us prior to sale. Upon returning to ask, they said no, they did not have the venting kit as it’d been thrown away when they put the Unit on display. No checks were made on the unit before it was sold to us, and it was visibly dirty too. Also watched some older female aussie employee berating someone picking up a click and collect for her husband and accusing her of being a scammer 😂 This place is out to rip people off. The staff are clueless and lazy. I went here instead of ‘Hardly Normal’ next door because of their poor ethics… but really, should have gone there instead to not get ripped off! Perhaps they’re the not so good guys.
Friendly staff with excellent product knowledge. Shares offer details promptly. Good product quality with magnificent aftercare service. 100% recommended.

Walked out of JB HI FI after waiting 30 minutes for some assistance after asking twice. Walked into the Good Guys Nunawading and was immediately greeted and offered help and directed to the appropriate staff to assist. Walked out within 10 minutes with a new Mac. Price was very competitive, staff were extremely helpful and polite, and it was a breath of fresh air after a poor experience elsewhere. Will be there first stop next time.
Thank you Frank for the most friendly, professional service today while assisting me with the purchase of a Television. Frank’s knowledge is exceptional, and made a quite daunting task easy. Definitely a “good guy!”
Store salesman was good for 2x air conditioner purchase and install. 1st delivery no show, no contact from good guys. Phoned store, promised new delivery. 2nd deliver no show, no contact from good guys. Phoned store, lady placed me on hold for 14 minutes - I finally hang up. Rang again, rang 3 mins no answer. Rang again, same lady hang up on me. Whilst on my way to get refund senior person phoned me and apologised, promised delivery again which I accepted. Initially offered free delivery, then phoned again saying I have to come and claim delivery discount at store. Finally showed up today, driver went to wrong house (even though instructions made clear). Original install date was changed by a week later. One expects better - just not good" enough "guys"."
Walked in looking for a printer, had no staff members in sight, and went looking for a staff member to get a price on an item. Can't see anyone in any department. i ended up looking price up on my phone and walked out. Only saw one staff member on my out the store. Won't be going back there again they potentially lost a $700 sale.
Went in to buy an air fryer. Dealt with Tez who made the process stress free. Great service

👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎I had a terrible experience with Good Guys and would not recommend them to anyone. I purchased a fridge on Sunday and booked delivery for Monday. I took annual leave to stay home and wait for the delivery, but it never arrived. I was supposed to receive a call before delivery, but there was no communication at all. I called the store more than 10 times to follow up, but no one answered. I extended my annual leave to Tuesday, thinking the fridge would arrive, but it didn’t. When I went to the store, they had no clue about my delivery and simply said it would come Tuesday—which didn’t happen either. Out of frustration, I extended my leave to Wednesday, but still, no fridge. This is beyond unprofessional and shows an utter lack of respect for customers’ time. I have now spent four days of my annual leave waiting for a fridge that was promised for next-day delivery. On top of that, I have been left without a fridge at home this entire time. The customer service is absolutely shocking. They cannot give you even a rough delivery time and clearly don’t value their customers. I recently had the pleasure of shopping at The Good Guys and was assisted by Frank. He went above and beyond to help us purchase a new TV, providing exceptional service throughout the entire process. I was looking for a new coffee machine today. Was served" by an Indian lady who had ZERO customer service/people skills. Clearly she doesn't like her job and would rather be somewhere else. Decided to buy a machine from Harvey Norman instead. Can't understand how The Good Guys hire staff who don't know how to sell their products through basic human interaction. It's the difference between a sale and a walkout."
I signed up to change my gas and electricity on the offer of a $200 gift card. After many inquiries and 6 months later still no gift card. Brought this to the attention of the person I believe was the manager who promised to action . It’s been a week and still no gift card. Honour your deals good guys. Very disappointing.

We went there to buy vacuum cleaner. We asked one of the staff to help us with that but we were waiting for a long time. Firstly he said that he’s finishing with another customer and he would be with us shortly. But he just disappeared. We decided to live and go to Harvey Norman which was near by and we purchased the product we were looking for.
Problems can happen but If you have a strong customer support team, this will build customer trust, I had an issue in a received item and when I saw reviews I thought no hope that I will get any support but guess what I got my issue solved in just 2 days with minimum communication, The good guys is a real professional organisation and I really want to thank Nunawading team and customer support team for solving my issue.
A guy called himself the sales manager offered to reduce my Telstra bill by changing the plan through Good Guys and said it will take only 10mins and had to stay 45mins. This was in January this year. And even after that my Telstra bill is increased since then and with less data for internet. Don’t let them scam you.
Never answer the phone call. I don’t trust you guys are too busy to answer 2 minutes phones.
Worst service ever asked for help from a guy he told me he would be back in a few minutes half an hour later I walked out went to Harvey Norman got what I wanted in a few minutes

I purchased a mini fridge today as a Christmas present, and the staff who assisted me were condescending, rushed and made me feel uncomfortable. When I asked if Visa vouchers would work for payment, one of the staff members rudely replied, “I have no idea.” At the checkout, the cashier appeared irritated as I used both vouchers and my card to pay. If this fridge had been available elsewhere, I wouldn’t have chosen to shop here.

We bought a LG fridge on Sat (30/12/24). Paid in full, and was booked for delivery on Sun(1/12/24). We waited all day fridge didn't come. Went the store and was told that it was sold to someone else! After a long discussion we agreed to get a white one instead the silver and also promised delivery next day morning. Guess what it DIDN'T COME! ALL FOOD GONE BAD!!!

Amazing experience!! Today I made a purchase in the Nunawading store and I was so lucky to find Frank who was incredibly helpful, super knowledgeable and had the best customer service I have ever had in the store. Next time I buy I will definitely be looking for him to help me with the purchase… I saw other customers waiting for him too… apparently he is amazing with everybody because people come straight to him for help. This employee really needs to be recognized because I will continue to come back to this store thanks to him.
Michelle at the store is such a lovely person, she was very patient and very familiar with the product nature. Also gave us a lots of valuable advice on deciding products. It was a very delighted experience with Michelle. Give her a promote!
Do not do click and collect. I placed an order and paid for it on Monday morning. I’ve not heard anything from the store about collection and keep getting hung up from an automated phone message when I call the store. I’m super peeved about the crappy service!!!
Placed order on 15/11 to get a delivery on 25/11/24. Order never arraived waited 3 days. TRavelled back 90 kms to cancell the order instore. worst & clueless bunch of people. It is a 0 star. Stay away from this store & buy from other retailers.
Tried to order a microwave online but each choice was coming up out of stock. Decided to ring store to see what models were available for click and collect. After a short time on hold the message said nobody was available to take the call and the call was subsequently terminated. Whatever happened to customer service?
Poor customer service. Bought a Revitive utrasound device online and it came with an empty box. Call the hotline and it took a long time for someone to answer the call. Ended up going to the branch to resolve the issue. It will be my first and last time buying anything from there
Went to pick up an online order. The attendant after making a phone call, said I'm lucky they just got more stock. Puzzled, I said, yes I'm lucky you sold my item that is ready for pickup and you have more stock.

I bought a washing machine from these guys that come with delivery and installation and they did such a poor job on installation that my laundry and living room became a swimming pool and trying contacting them and they deny to take responsibility and blame myself for it Its so shameful

Used to come here a lot and bought quite a few of our appliances here. I can confidently say that this place helped my family create a lot of important memories (by stocking appliances for our home). However that all ended today, I purchased an item online and went in for pickup. The colour I wanted was out of stock and no one had any ideas when it’ll arrived (asked at least 3 different staff members). So I ended up asking if I could pick up a colour (exact same model) that was in stock. The first employee said it was fine to do, second employee also said it was fine, third employee wanted me to pay extra for the different colour. I didn’t have to in the end but the employee made it sound like my fault unfortunately 😢and that made me really sad. Since the problem came from them not having any stock.
Terrible. Paid for full installation of washer and dryer but delivery guy just left the dryer in the living room and left. Disgraceful. The delivery guys are a bunch of cowboys. Shame on you Good Guys Nunawading.
Does anyone know how to pick up a phone at this store? Tried calling them 3 times and it rang out for 5 minutes each time.
I genuinely thought I was in a fever dream with how bad the service was. This was, without a doubt, the most chaotic and unprofessional customer service experience I’ve ever encountered. A simple inquiry about a Dyson vacuum accessory was met with outright sarcasm and dismissiveness from Luigi, making me question whether the staff here have any interest in making sales at all. To make matters worse, Apple tech accessories were proudly displayed with 'bring me to the counter' cards, yet none were in stock. A sales assistant casually admitted they hadn’t had stock in months, which perfectly sums up the sheer incompetence of this encounter.

Why doesnt anyone pick up the phone at the Nunawading store? Had washing machine delivered and as part of the service, they were to remove our existing washing machine. They couldnt take the old washing machine at the time, but assured us they would be back to remove. This was nearly a week ago. The washing machine is still sitting at the front of our house waiting... no one picks up the phone despite numerous follow ups...
Early this year, our dishwasher decided to malfunction so we were in need of a new one. We arrived to the store and not knowing where to start, a friendly staff member named Vandana came to help. She was Amazing! She asked us a few questions and showed us around all the brands they stocked and then after getting a feel of what we wanted, she recommended the Asko brand to us and went through all features and benefits it had. We ended up going with what she recommended. We have been using the dishwasher for a few months now and we are so happy with our purchase. Thank you so much Vandana, we really appreciate your help and recommendation. :)

I had a very disappointing experience with The Good Guys Nunawading. They failed to deliver an item, and strangely, no one at the store answers the phone. This is unacceptable and quite frustrating.
I had a great experience at Good Guys, and I have to give a shoutout to Zen. He was super helpful and friendly from the moment we walked in. Zen really took the time to understand what I needed and offered some great deals and recommendations on laptops that fit my needs. What stood out was how knowledgeable and genuinely nice he was. He made the whole shopping trip a breeze and we left as very happy customers. Thanks so much Zen
Terrible company to deal with. Bought a tv and supposed to be delivered on Friday, no communication about what time it comes. Rang early in the morning only to be told that they don’t know anything about the order and have to wait and see if it gets delivered and if I haven’t seen it in a couple of days just call Back. So they just expect me to sit in front of the windows all day and await delivery ? Rang again at 4pm , no one answers the phone so had to go through the national sales line because if you want to buy something all of a sudden people do pick up the phone. Finally admitted there is an error in the system and rebooked delivery for Sundays and updated phone number (2nd time already), got text message on the incorrect phone number and had to ring again as delivery again rescheduled , again an error was made. Communication is poor and delivery is very unreliable, better to go with someone else who actually Delivers what you order!!! Last time for me!!

TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE! Rude salespeople, no attention to detail. Ordered a fridge that was in stock 4 weeks ago. Booked delivery for last Friday and they sent it to the wrong address, got it redirected for Saturday delivery but they forgot to put it on the truck then drive 1 hour today to wait again and it didn’t get put on the track again! No fridge now for a week and no one cares. Do yourself a favour and go anywhere else.

We have a commercial account through my work, service is always terrible. They always hold the guys up and don't give them the gear we have ordered for trivial reasons such as a name on a purchase order. Have spoken to our rep several times who continues to assure us this won't happen again. Had one of my guys waiting there for an hour last night because of a guy who had be in his bonnet and refused to give the ordered gear, even when a pick up confirmation and the original order was presented. Absolute pains in the a**
Understaffed, cant answer phone or item specific quesrions. Just buy somewhere else. If this is the service provided I will buy elsewhere. Thanks for the waste of time.
Worst experience, don't even deserve a singular star, was advised stove would be available under 10 days, 20 days later still not delivered. Phones ring out, call several times a day, when they finally answer no-one is available, leave a message & they don't call you back, don't respond to emails, Will never buy from there again.
Was very disappointed with my visit. I went to this branch + another to buy a large massage gun & none of them had any battery charge at all. I'm not spending $200 or more without trying them first.
My husband and I (we are both Chinese) were discriminated by a Mandarin speaking male staff (looks like in his 60s or 70s). My husband and I made an inquiry on a freezer. We talked to a different staff initially who offered $250 for the product and he referred us to the Mandarin speaking male staff as we wanted to negotiate the price further. The person (Mandarin speaking) served us with a very arrogant attitude and said “the lowest is $260, take it or not, come to me if you made your decision”. We made up our mind fairly quickly and went back to him. We waited and waited, for over an hour, and he ignored us and continued to serve other customers who came later than us. So we went back to the original staff, who confirmed $250 for the freezer. He wrapped it up for us but asked us to pay at the Mandarin speaking staff’s place. The person said he’s locked the price, it’s $260. We were shocked - we felt so discriminated. We’ve been to this store so many times and were never treated like this. I’ll never go back again. Bye the good guys Nunawading, what a shame for having such a discriminating staff.
Won’t come to this store again, terrible customer service once there is an issue. Sales and manager are arrogant and ignorant to customers needs and kicking the balls around didn’t take the responsibility to help resolve the issue. Recommend anyone has negative experience with them make a complaint to good guys national service otherwise it will take ages for them to resolve the issues.

Worst store manager ever, we are having a so called premium delivery package, she is not letting us a refund which they did not delivered, they are suppose to dispose the old machine. They did nothing by charging us $90+. A good company can be completely ruined by an incapable store manager. What a shame

One of the staff who is an Indian lady is pretty arrogant and no experience. Try to push you to buy stuff. All she care if her revenue. While the other lady sales is super helpful.

Absolutely terrible service. The team just put you on hold if they answer the phone, which more often than not they don’t answer, they don’t meet commitments they make to send teams to help or even call back. I’ve been calling for 2.5 weeks about an issue that should be super simple for them to fix and I’ve been given the run around by 8 people in store, the corporate head office and their gold star service people too. Stay away from this store and the franchise entirely.
