Very happy, friendly staff

Great food, fast service, nice atmosphere with family friendly dining near the children’s play room.

We asked for a quiet space as had elderly mum with us and it was given to us. Food was great - open souvlaki with salad and chips - chips were really nice. Seniors bangers and mash was great as was the roast of the day - great sizes for senior's meals. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend. However agree with someone else who reviewed saying the perfume smell is a bit overwhelming when you enter.

A little group of us older ladies go to lunch at the Croydon often and we all love it. It never disappoints! We were very shocked yesterday (Friday) to see only a couple of tables at lunch time and wonder why that is.

Really quality food! Got the pulled lamb salad and it was delicious. We also got the pulled pork burger and Parma which was very good for pub meal!

The rump in the $44 mixed grill was like eating your Aunty Sally's gumboot from Sassafrass circa 1990s

Food was great, service was great, kids play area great, overall great experience, I would definitely recommend them 👍

A tough one to rate simply, so here goes... We have been here a number of times, and generally, the food and service are good and in some cases, great. But - the smell of the perfume in the front area is beyond offensive, and not only makes the entry smell like a giant toilet air freshener, but also sticks to clothes and hair, and pervades the whole building. My whole family came away feeling quite unwell from the pungent perfume, and had to not only shower, but also wash all our clothes after only a 2 hours in the place (and we weren't even sitting close to the epicentre of the smell.). The did cook me an awesome rib-eye steak and chips, and everyone else at the table rated between good and pretty good. I wish they could / would do something about the awful perfume though.

The staff are wonderful, so friendly and welcoming. Terrific standard pub menu options but I’m particularly grateful for the vegetarian and vegan choices too. The whole family is catered for and the service is quick!

Had our family Xmas lunch here, arya & shane were fantastic hosts at our table the moment we sat down, Also a big shout out to the rest of the staff who were all friendly polite and very helpful, food was fantastic' 10/10 will happily return again and highly recommend!

Underrated pub. Great food, drinks and a good place to take the kids due to the playground.

We had Christmas lunch and everything was great. Service was excellent and food beautifully presented and tasty. Serves were very generous.

My Nasi Goreng was terrible, nothing like the real dish . Western type food was very good . Good for family with younger children , good play area but very noisy . Not the place for a quiet dinner.

Security guard was incredibly rude wouldn't go back.

Having dinner here again, service was good. Food served fairly quick for a Saturday. But food was delicious and very filling.

Great venue for the family to celebrate a birthday. Staff attentive and friendly, food was great except for the lamb souva which was a bit dry but everyone else (6 adults and 6 kids) all really enjoyed their meals. Would definitely come back.

Roast of the Day (pork) was delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Happy to go back again. Good honest Pub food!

Nice atmosphere and good outside area, unfortunately the chef couldnt cook a steak to save his life and have never had a medium rare steak that has been so overdone. Expect better when paying 47$ for a steak. Extremely disappointed hopefully others have had a better experience. Have had better food from McDonald's up the road.

Honestly the staff made our experience fantastic. They were welcoming, checked in on multiple occasions to ensure everything was ok and went out of their way to talk to my two girls. The kids menu choices were a lot broader than I normally find at pubs and I LOvED the ability to add salad/veg to kid meals as a standard option rather than the normal chips with everything. My only comment is the kids cheeseburger could have been cooked a bit more as it was on the tater side for little kids. The Thai beef salad was awesome. All in all was pleasantly surprised. Shout out once again to the staff.

As previous helpful friendly staff. Variety of meals available including gluten free and vegan. Reasonable prices. A large playground for the kids.

New security is a dickhead. Doesnt let locals in after 12pm.

Had the seniors barramundi Dry fish, soggy broccolini, over cooked potato. Partners meal of salt and pepper squid was tasteless and stringy. Will not recommend at all.

The staff were efficient and food was served in a timely manner. They were friendly and helpful. The food was terrible. Everyone at my table felt the same. Most of us left ours unfinished.

The ambience and food, delightful

Ordered the vegan teriyaki noodles. $26 and tasteless. Had to ask for some soy sauce to at least give this dry mound of noodles some flavour.

Came here on a Sunday morning at about 3:30am to be greeted by an unhappy looking health problem who told us that they closed at 3am. Just to the left of him was the opening hours and it clearly said 5am it closes and sesame when I looked online before going.

The team are always very helpful and customer service on point. Food is great and well priced. Highly recommend the venue.

Currently out the front of the venue waiting on another Didi because it's closed an hour before your windows and Google page states. Poor form.photos added for timestamp.

I recently dined at Castello’s Croydon hotel and was thoroughly impressed. The food was outstanding, with each dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Zac in the sports bar always goes above and beyond for us when we come in for happy hour. He’s a great guy and makes everyone feel welcome.

We were celebrating a friends birthday everything was good - all happy with our meals. Standout for us was Chris, he took us to our table, always smiling and very engaging. I wondered if he was the manager of the Hotel as he took so much care around serving us. Also, his knowledge of the wines on offer was way above expectation. Thanks Chris and team. Great venue , great food with ample parking, delightful and pleasant staff including security personnel …. Food stuff Very reasonably priced….. most of all Kid Friendly

FOOD-Good sized mains. All our meals arrived pretty much at the same time!👌 Only disappointment was the meat served with the Open Souv was very very dry.😞 SERVICE- Very friendly ATMOSPHERE- none really. Would have appreciated some background music.

The best place to go

Such great service at the Croydon on Friday night. It was busy and the staff took great care with our order, which was served quickly. Meal was lovely and atmosphere was relaxed. Highly recommend.

Haven't been to Croydon hotel for some time so decided to give it a go. Staff and service were fine but very disappointed in the meal. We usually have seniors meal because we don't want large portions but what we received was not much larger that an entree. Other venues are much better.

The worst value meal i’ve ever experienced $18 fir a senior’s roast with 2 small pieces of roast beef Could find better valve at McDonalds up the road The manager was rude and had a careless attitude Never again would l set foot in this place

If you're tempted by the sticky date, don't go there. Always disappointing to get a packet dessert. Steak was ok

Zac was amazing! Can’t say a bad thing about the customer service we received, as soon as our 15+ table mentioned our issues, he fixed them instantly. Could not recommend him more! The relaxing nature to resolve the issue was very sincere. Customer service made up for the bad food.

An enjoyable meal. Good value for money.

We went for a mid week meal. My husband had the Mexican Chicken Parma and I had the Chicken Burger. We couldn’t fault the meal, both were delicious.

Love this place

Great venue. We were there in afternoon and it wasn't too busy.

Great food and service. Went there twice within a few days. First time was not as good because of uncontrolled kids who were running and screaming around. The second time I knew to ask for a table away from the kids. On both occasions the food was perfect and the staff very pleasant. It’s unfortunate parents allow their kids to run riot and ruin other people’s experiences. Fortunately at this venue there are ways to avoid the problem. Would happily go there again. It would obviously be more enjoyable if the kids were brought up with manners and respect, but that’s pretty rare these days.

Good spot, if only the food was better

Horrible experience here Since new owners Went for a supposedly nice dinner with my family and we were served multiple hairs in our food and drink i brang it up to the waiter and he laughed he told his manager and we asked to get a dessert in our inconvenience we couldn’t eat the meals or milkshakes any longer they refused and we’re really dirty bathrooms please reconsider your next visit you won’t be treated with kindness if they do something wrong because they don’t want to hear it
