A great family oriented football club. We go there each Friday night for dinner after the kids footy practice, and the meals are fantastic and priced well.

APRIL 2022: the KGV is a great local pub, with serious local pub and footy in vibes (for obvious reasons). The function rooms upstairs offer a space to host a fundraiser or get together, in an unpretentious setting. Staff are always super friendly and efficient. Food is well priced, and portion sizes exceed expectations, compared to the other pubs in the area. A little off the main road, but well worth the extra minute in the car.

Went to an expo there. The room was.lovely and light. Cafe and seating. The parking was good .

I have visited Glenorchy football clubfive ti Mes in last two months.its a Afl club. FEDERAL HOBART POLITICIAN A FEW YEAR AGO GOT GRANTED MULTI MILLION DOLLARS TO EXPAND THE PRECINT. MADE A BIG DIFFERENCE FOR LOCALS .UNFORTUNATLY MY VISITS HAVE SHOWN ME A DISGRACEFUL PIG STY IN AREAS LEADING INTO THE LOWER BAR AND OVAL SIDE ENTRANCES. CIGARETTE BUTTS LITTER THE SURROUNDS AT ENTRANCES BEER SPILLS ON CARPET INSIDE BAR SEATING AREA HAVE NOT BEEN CLEANED IN THE TIME I HAVE BEEN ATTENDING. PEOPLE SMOKING ON BALCONY JUST THROW BUTTS ONTO WALKING AREA BELOW. IN MY LIFE MOST LIQUOR PREMISES WASH DOWN FOOTPATH AND WALKING AREAS EVERY MORNING .THIS SPOT IS A MAJOR BLOT ON THE LOVELY CITY OF GLENORCHY I APPROACHED THE GLENORCHY CITY COUNCIL AND THEY APPARENTLY ACCORDING TO OFFICIAL I SPOKE TO CANNOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT THE SITUATION..APPARENTLY THE SO CALLED SMOKING AREA LEGAL .WELL YOU EXPLAIN ANYONE THAT KNOWS THE RULES. WHY I HAVE TO WALK OVER CIGARETTES UNCLEAN BEER SPILLAGE .AND CIGARETTES.SMOKE TO ENTER PREMISES AND UNCLEAN CARPET. THE MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO BE SACKED FOR THEIR LACK OF RESPECT TO MEMBERS AND GUESTS TO A SHOULD BE PROUD PLACE TO VISIT. WHAT A WAY TO TREAT PEOPLE. STAN WILKINSON .
