Food average but well over priced for the quality won't be going back

Beautiful food and ambience. I had scorch fillet steak and couldn't fault it.

Ordered Greek lamb shoulder salad looks like they have run out of lettuce missing tzatziki sauce and the worst part lamb greasy and cold was offered by waitress to heat up in microwave worst meal ever

My wife and I both enjoyed the scotch fillet with the bearnaise sauce, the steak was cooked as per our order to medium. The bearnaise on the steak was awesome just loved it. A good honest pub meal, beers were cold, what more can you ask for. Staff were very nice and and accommodating. I will be back for another scotch fillet. :)

Steaks are always amazing here. Have been a few times. Perfectly cooked and delicious. Not the closest steak restaurant to me but definitely worth travelling for. Service is always great too.

Sorry guys a hard pass for me. I had the stuffed chicken in the dining room and the mash inside was cold. Otherwise a nice meal

Despite some initial confusion and miscommunication regarding our booking, Manager Lee at the Graziers Grill House at The Stamford displayed exceptional professionalism, composure, and efficiency. She promptly organised an extra table for our party of six, even though it was a full house. Molly, our waitress, delivered outstanding service. She was attentive, friendly, and highly efficient. We are truly grateful for their efforts, and the meals surpassed our expectations with their delicious flavors and excellent presentation. We will definitely be returning.

Rude manager refused to allow us to take a meal away after over cooking the tomahawk steak which we waited for, for over an hour. Would not listen and then asked me to leave the premises because I wanted to take what I paid for. Argued with me but the make customers had all her attention and smiles. Maybe if I was make her reaction would have been different. 🙄

Seeded Chicken Snitz....the whole snitz was less than 2mm thick, it was dry and oily, the apple and cabbage slaw was not crunchy and the dressing was dry. The rosemary garnish was a stick poorly off ths bush. The sprite drinks we ordered were not cold and very syrupy. Lake Entrances Flake....yummy but very small and the lettuce salad was literally out of bag and a bit soft. The staff looked like they really didn't want to be there, no smiles they just looked empty.

Overall the food was heavily under seasoned. The Arancini Bolognese tasted like it came from a box had little bolognese filling inside and the sauce tasted more of salsa then Arrabbiata, the Calamari was far too large and little chewy but the sauce was nice, the spiced curry lamb filo was nice. For mains ordered black opal rump asked for med rare and got Medium, to be fair if your going to work in a place called Grillhouse i would hope the standards for steaks would be higher. The mash potato was smooth but zero seasoning, broccolini bland aswell, the pumpkin was nice and if the best part of the meal is the pumpkin thats a bit of a worry. The red wine jus was not bad, little sweet though, mushroom sauce needed a little more seasoning and prefer sliced mushrooms then diced & also had a side of mac n cheese which unfortunately tasted like it came from a box and was super dry. The wait staff were friendly except for one lady who rolled her eyes at us when we asked to add something onto our meal. The decor was fantastic love the simplicity. Overall for a $200 meal its not worth the money.

Went to Graziers last night. Had the best service. Haven’t been here for a few years. The food was delicious. Great night and will be back.

Bistro food with restaurant prices. The food was fine, the service was fine. The steak sauces tasted like they were out of a jar. Salad had 3 ingredients. We liked the decor. Desserts sounded great on the menu but there was no love in it. Disappointed.

Reading the review from Carolyn, she could not be more wrong about this restaurant. Seems no matter what the venue did, she seems like she was impossible to please. Hello Karen? Our dining experiences at this venue have been outstanding each and every time. The staff annd managers are polite, and go above and beyond, and are attentive when required. We have never had a bad steak at this grazers venue, and cooked to perfection each and every time. All foods and sides have always been recieved hot, as everything is cooked fresh to order. Some of our favourite dishes are the black Angus scotch fillet, Atlantic salmon and the tomohawk special they sometimes have. (Tomahawk is a wait to be cooked but 100% worth it) If you are looking for quality food and a relaxing dining experience, this is the restaurant for you. (We have been coming every month for the past 2 years since moving to the area)

I WOULDN’T GIVE THIS RESTAURANT ANY STARS IF I WAS ABLE TO. ….. TERRIBLE SERVICE , COLD FOOD AND A CHEF WHO DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO COOK STEAKS!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND BOOK SOMEWHERE EISE . HAVE BEEN HERE ON MANY OCCASIONS BUT NEVER AGAIN. Thanks for your response below - (you only came to our table because we asked for the manager) you may need some training yourself as twice you told us that the steaks had come off the grill (that’s argumentative) why was everything cold!! Your staff member saying we were rude /abrupt , perhaps if your staff had placed clean cutlery ready for our recooked order then perhaps we wouldn’t have been frustrated …after all we wanted to eat our replacement order (which was no better) whilst hot… we just wish we had of seen all the reviews on both platforms because we wouldn’t have wasted our money.

I had a good time at Graziers, really love their food and ambiance. Girlfriend mistakenly booked the next door spot, what a shame. However, the gentleman was able to secure us a table regardless, which was very kind of him, excellent customer service from him. Manager obviously knows his onus, he’s certainly smashing his targets.The lady we spoke to first was keen on kicking us out. Understandably we made a honest mistake but you don’t just say no to customers with a stern look, no options, no second look or at least pretend to look. We decided nothing will spoil our evening and we loved it.

I walked in at 7.30 pm tonight and asked for a table for 3. There was plenty of empty tables and place was moderately busy. I was told sorry no walk ins tonight as we have staff issues. I said, are you sure I have the other 2 coming from far away. They said sorry. Very poor in my opinion I won't go back..

Great atmosphere, good service- the food is not as consistent as it used to be. When ordering 2 meals the same to the same table you would expect them to be similar - not in this case. Something to work on!

Great service, very efficient and consistent. Large eye fillet steak was a highlight, cooked on the 'under' side as per my previous experience. Certainly a preferred way to go for my taste. Large plate of side roast potato and pumpkin and nicely steams broccolini. My partner ordered one of the specials - it was a highlight dish! crispy fried whole snapper with Thai style side salad and spicy sauce. Very generous serve and it presented very well. Fish was fresh and moist.

Super great Steaks, I went out with a mate a week ago and came back again tonight after the girlfriend heard how good it was. Great value with the ALH team discount. I probably wouldn't pay full price for the meals, but that's just me. Highly recommended for a chill delicious night out.

Horrible, got cold calamari entree too start off , then wife’s salmon dish was un edible . T-bone steak was very average not cooked to my asking ,& tasteless , pretty much the whole dining experience was un professional, there not chefs in that kitchen not even close , 4 of us would never go back ! The steak knives are so blunt we laughed cause we couldn’t cut the steak lol worst 270$ I’ve spent ,

Heavily over priced for below average food. Stained chairs. Only good thing is served with a smile. Rather avoid.

All together I had a really pleasant experience in this restaurant. The food is great and service is thoughtful but not pushy. Good place for a good steak keep it up!

Steak was way undercooked. I was that hungry I just ate it. The waiter came and asked how our meals were and I said the steak was raw and not very good. His reply was I'll tell the chef. No, oh can we get you a new one or I'm sorry about that we can take it off the bill. We waited 45 mins for our mains to come too, they changed the menu so your kids pretty much can't eat here. Definitely won't be coming back and you've lost a loyal customer. It isn't aimed at adults as you used to have burgers and pasta dishes on the menu.

Turned away with less than half the restaurant full

Went for lunch and was pretty surprised at the quality of the meat. For the prices charged you would expect to get your meat cooked as requested and have a fairly decent size, but porterhouse was pretty thin and unimpressive. Found service to be a but like a bistro rather the a restaurant. I understand it is linked to a hotel but if you are going to charge high prices ensure that the service and food quality matches. Live locally and never have been here before. Know many people who have and have had positive experiences. Uncertain if it is the cost of produce that has impacted the quality. Not able to make any changes to the meals, which is understood, how this was handled was not very well though. Simple response would be kitchen doesn't make alterations to meal and that would have been fine, rather then responding it doesn't come with that. chicken kievs Iooked a little burnt, glanced at another table and there's looked the same. Duck was a little bit rubbery and ordinary. A little disappointed with the whole experience

I had a t-bone steak with cowboy butter and hollandaise sauce here. It was super tasty, and enough food for two people which was fortunate as there were two of us eating. Service was fast, the staff were polite, and very attentive, we both felt very well looked after, and we'd both recommend that others dine here. Thank you to Kelly and Georga, we'll probably see you again soon : )

Nice dinner out with the family. Meals were acceptable but pretty pricey. I had the tomahawk steak but was pretty undercooked in the middle. Not a big issue to get sent back and an extra time on the grill. Veggies were replaced as well as a gesture of goodwill but not necessary as this steak is huge!

Had the wagyu rump. Very accommodating to small children.

A chill little steak house serving great food and wine. Have to compliment their chef did a great job for serving our Tomahawk steak and T-bone cook in perfection. Waitress are friendly and helpful. We will be back again.

Wish I could rate them higher!!!! From the get go, Georgia was super friendly and super attentive! Then my food came out and I had to stop myself from doing the scene from Harry met Sally. Was absolutely DELICIOUS! Can't wait to come back!!!! It's worth mentioning again how great Georgia was!!! She's a star!!!!

6pm 10/8/23. No tomahawk..only 2 t bones left. Less than half of the wine selections are available...pretty poor really..older couple on table next to us weren't happy with their beef bourguuignon..or the cold mash... Very very disappointing so far..we have ordered, so let's see how it pans out. I feel sorry for the wait staff and bar staff..it has to be embarrassing to apologise to every customer. The main meals were nice. So that's a positive.

Surprise there is a steakhouse around this area. Food was great. I got the porterhouse medium rare, came out a bit more on the rarer side, but the taste was smokey as you would expect from a steakhouse. The chips were amazing and the fried ribs was great too.

We went for streaks on a Friday night. The food was very good and the service was perfect. Highly recommend

Just want to thank Ami for being an absolute sweetheart for us at table 15 and for always checking up on us when needed and helping us with questions and always going to the chef. Was absolutely amazing service.

Thank you to Rachel at the Graziers Grill House for her excellent service. We ordered the pork ribs with roasted vegetables and fried onion rings, thick cut chips, house salad and half a dozen oysters Kilpatrick. Everything was delicious and we didn't have to wait long. The food was to share and Rachel provided us with individual plates without us having to ask. Rachel was also very attentive and promptly asked if we were ready to order. Later on, she also checked if everything was okay and if we needed anything else, so keep up the great work Graziers Grill House.

This is my first time to graziers on a recommendation. After ordering, it was only about 50mins later that we were told there was an issue with one steak that had to be redone. Totally fine, appreciate the honesty as we were about to ask what’s going on. The other steaks were done so maybe we should have asked for them to be brought out first but didn’t think of this. Once all steaks were brought though, only the redone one was not tough even though they were all ordered medium rare. Not sure if it was put in the oven but it was really chewy and tough. We didn’t want to bring it up halfway through eating because we didn’t want to wait again for it to be redone. If I’m being honest, I enjoyed the roast vegetables and garlic butter most. We thought maybe it was just the steaks that were warmed but one of us got a lamb shank which was tough as well and the highlight was the Brussel sprouts instead. I do mean this as constructive criticism, I don’t mind if there is staff training but I did walk away with the feeling that I lost $55.

The staff were friendly. Kind of a long wait time though. The food is pretty good overall. Don't order the salmon though. It's mid.

Despite being a very busy place...there is never a delay and the hostesses are always attentive. It's not just the steaks but other items in the menu are cooked to perfection and have good portions aswell. Special callout to SOPHIE and CHLOE who served us in seperate occassion and provided excellent customer service. Will definately keep coming back .

Meg showed us to our table and looked after us for the evening! The food was fabulous and the wine was just as good ! Brilliant night and we will definitely be back !

Don't expect much you'll come away happy.

The food did not reflect the price, although the service and atmosphere were of a high standard. The different steaks we ordered were all subpar, which ruined the experience.

We waited 40 minutes for our meals but it was worth it. The lamb fillet was sensational however hubbies steak was near cold. Very friendly & kind staff.

Yum. Good food and service. Seafood platter was great and amazing value for money. 3 of everything, best of the ocean. 400g steak was cooked perfect. Only gripe was not enough butter and garlic on cob loaf but graziers totally redeemed themselves on the mains. Book yaself a table now.

Fantastic menu, reasonable prices

Superb dining experience! Honestly could not fault my experience here at Graziers Stamford. We had Sophie as our waitress, she went above and beyond serving our table and checking up to see that we were happy with everything. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. The BBQ Pork Ribs were a stand out, they fell off the bone and melted in your mouth. Will definitely be returning!

Waiting for waiter service for coffees while barmaid and 2 waiters share laughs with one of the cooks. 10 minute wait so far. I am being patient.....

This has to be a jewel in Rowville. Amazing food and service for our lunch today. Spectacular steak and seafood not to mention sides and desserts to die for. Would recommend 100%.

Great steaks and service, nice local

It was our first time visiting and we had a great dinner with friends. Parking was not a problem. The steaks were on point, cooked to our requirements and the sides we ordered were very generous. The medium rare T-bone was juicy and tender, our onion rings topping was crunchy, and the sides were big enough to share with the entire table. Even our marinara pasta was good for two, with more prawns than we could count, which is a first! Service was great, and the staff were very friendly, prompt, and helpful. We'll be back!

Great steak house in Rowville for lunch or dinner . Open fireplace and I had the pork ribs which were terrific.m 😋
