Manager Mark is always polite, calm, and professional, while Elfy adds a friendly touch that makes every visit enjoyable. We trust their advice completely, which is why we keep coming back, even when other retailers offer better deals. I recently purchased a fridge, and despite a longer wait time and availability at other stores, I chose to stick with The Good Guys due to the exceptional service. Additionally, Jacqui at the payment counter was incredibly helpful, assisting me with online payment and retrieving my store credits — a kindness I truly appreciated as I’m not tech-savvy. Mark, Elfy, and Jacqui deserve recognition for their dedication. Their excellent service makes every visit a pleasure, and they absolutely deserve a five-star rating!

I was very disappointed in the customer service. I waited for over 30 minutes for a staff member who continued to serve customers around me, although was aware we were waiting. I approached the service desk and asked for some assistance. They explained that it’s a public holiday and staff shortages were an issue the lady was quite rude in her tone. I explained that I understood this but others kept approaching the salesman and he kept helping them before us. The admin lady continued to remark “it’s a public holiday it’s STAFF SHORTAGES”, completely missing the point. If staff shortages are making your customer service sub-standard then you should not be opening on public holidays. I will not shop there again and will visit Harvey Norman in future for my purchases.

Satisfactory service

Got a vacuum cleaner yesterday 28th December. When we checked it was making noise. My husband contacted with them yesterday and went to the store they said to make a video of it and bring it with the video. We went there today and wanted to change the store manager Brody said it is normal as it's a new one he did not change ot replace it he put WD40 and said it will reduce noise. Not at all happy with the service and please do not buy from anything from that store as their service is really bad.

Spent a lot of money in there Cranbourne store.brought a fridge on the 8th dec still waiting on a delivery.please do yourself a favour avoid this store. they take orders and take your money for stuff that is out of stock and don’t tell you you will have to Waite nearly a month or more for delivery.they tell you they will look into it and get back to you but they don’t.lucky your getting one star.Christmas was ruined because I was expecting my fridge before Christmas but got nothing .thanks for nothing good guys.

Great customer service but terrible delivery service. I paid for GOLD EXTRAS and they delivered the fridge was supposed to pick up old fridge and rubbish but didn't until the next day they removed the new fridge and rubbish and left it outside and came back the 3rd day to finally take rubbish. IN THE END WE FINALLY GOT A NEW FRIDGE WITH A 3 YEAR WARRANTY YAY.

Placed order for an Airfryer online and went to store to pick it up.. realised at the store what I had purchased was not actually what I wanted. After having a chat with one of the staff members I changed my mind and the girl behind the counter changed the web order for me and I came home with my new upgraded Air fryer. I didn’t get names but they were great to deal with! (Sunday 27 October) 😉 A++

My family members are regular regular Good guys customer and we have no complaints about that; this review is for one particular good guys employee of Indian background who asked me to go to Salvos if I want discount more discount (not in a nice way at all) I am pretty sure he won't dare to say this to a Caucasian customer, as a person from South-asian ancestry I would request Good guys to train their staff well.

Really disappointed with delivery guys as they have damaged my main door handle and They said “we don’t know about it “ it happened infront of my eyes and didn’t admit or cover the damaged they have caused. Unprofessional delivery guys and they left without informed us and left my main door opened. First of all delivery guys need to have a good personal hygiene and grooming.

I recently had a Warrenty issue with a product Hayden was absolutely fantastic he handled everything for me and kept in contact with me right up until my product was delivered to my house

Handy shop,large variety of stock friendly staff and great prices

Hi please do not buy any stuff from the store . issue is that I bought one stuff from three year ago with the extra warranty in July when I have a problem with that I ring to the company which I got extra warranty one and they told me they have finished a contract with June with the good guys and another company takeover. Then I ring current company and they said we fix the problem now it’s more than one month. They did not resolve the issue . That’s is happening in a good guys. Please do not buy anything from the Cranbourne or other good guys place because of you will be suffer same as I am is much better go Harvey Norman there resolve the issue as soon as possible not like good guys I pay them all the money and still one month they keep saying company issued to you and when I ring company they said they issued Credit to store. It’s a big hassle. I been 4 time to store and waste my time they always said next time or 48 hrs they fixed . Do not buy anything. Go to Harvey Norman or JB hi-Fi not good guys. They charge me for extra warranty Money for which company they already finish the contract now it’s really big hassle. It’s more than three week or I can say 25 days. They still did not resolve the issue.

I ordered a watch via phone call 15 days ago and paid for both the item and delivery. After receiving a purchase confirmation, I expected timely updates. However, I've heard nothing since. Each time I called for an update, I was told it would arrive soon. I now suspect they've lost my watch and they have no idea where is the watch!!! So disappointing!! --- Feel free to adjust as needed!

I absolutely loved the experience at shopping at the Good Guys today. Lachlan made sure we knew what we were getting and making us have a very happy purchase. Give him a RAISE !!

The manager was so preoccupied with talking to security at the front that he didn't want to help out on the register. Instead, he kept calling for assistance. There were 7 people waiting in line but only 2 staff members serving at the register. After 10 minutes, only one person had been served. Customer shopping experience is not a focus here.

Today I bought a vacuum and steam mop from good guys Cranbourne, the service Sid gave was exemplary. In my opinion, he offered more than I was ever expecting. They didn't have the vacuum I wanted so he found that the Frankston store had them in stock, rang them to inform them that I will be paying for it at Cranbourne and coming to pick it up. Then he took $40 of the total. He was kind and friendly. I will definitely be shopping there again

Worst customer service, Don't purchase from this store ,will regret it. Bought a fridge 2 weeks before,paid on premium delivery and finally received damage faulty fridge.Made several phone calls and sent them the pics but not use only disappointment with fake promises with swaping the fridge delivery the next day. Delivery man came today in front of the house saying excuses with no space in the van to swap the new fridge with old fridge. Ended up with problem that couldn't resolved.😡😡😡

Today we went in to Good Guys to have a look at some vacuums. Josh B came up to us and was very patient and polite when answer all of our questions and looking at different brands/models. Throughout our whole experience, Josh was very friendly and helpful. Josh was able to give us a good deal and even took the time to carry our purchase to the car. Thank you Josh B!

Staff are not educated on products they sell. I had a few surprises upon delivery as the item was not as I expected. I had no component or function run through in store and the premium installation was arguably not completed. Phoning for assistance started polite and ended rudely. Staff were again uneducated and started giving me an unpleasant tone. I was told to Google and check YouTube for information and ebay for future possible replacement parts. Extremely unprofessional. Deep regrets with this purchase and will not likely purchase there again.

Abhijeet is amazing. He went above and beyond in helping me purchase some items for my toddler, mum and myself, he got me the best deals which made me purchase more and he always checked in and took on any task, I highly recommend getting him to personally assist whilst in store, head office and management this guy deserves a promotion, such a kind hardworking individual, I’m so impressed, I spent $651.95 in store today and would shop here again. Also to mention he isn’t a pushy shark salesmen and is very genuine.

Disappointing Experience with Good Guys I recently purchased a dishwasher from the Good Guys Cranbourne store and opted for their delivery, installation, and 3-year extended warranty Gold Concierge service. However, what should have been a seamless experience turned into a nightmare due to poor service and unresolved issues. Upon installation, it was immediately evident that a part was broken. I contacted the store, the concierge team, and the help desk multiple times through calls and emails, but to no avail. Each time, I was promised that someone would reach out within two days, but unfortunately, nobody came or called. The lack of communication and follow-through is incredibly disappointing. As a customer who paid extra for installation and extended warranty, I expected better service and support. It's frustrating to be left in limbo without a resolution in sight. I urge potential customers to reconsider their purchase from Good Guys until they can demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues. This experience has left a sour taste, and I hope it serves as a warning to others.

Thanks Aiden for your help with vacuums and for carrying as the other guy at checkout was not helpful and handballed carrying the product to the car to Aiden, mum and I noticed because mum has had knee replacement surgery she asked the guy at checkout who seemed disinterested and he was like ummmm arr than saw Aiden and said did you want to carry this to their car or na,what do you expect him to say na especially if the poor worker is new,hate when people do this to other employees ,to note their was enough people on checkout

Worst ever service received from any retailer. Received faulty fridge with false promises with swap over in time but failed to deliver. Manager Ben is arrogant and no interest and experience in dealing with complaints….! The good guys are actually the Bad guys….!

The service from the entire team was incredibly good. From everyone at the counter to Josh in TVs, they were all fantastic. The crew at the collection point out back were also great. Head to the Cranbourne store if you are after a relaxed experience with really great staff.

Its my second time buying something from The Good Guys, my experience was extremely bad, the delivery guys came and makes so many excuses to put my fridge inside of my house, if its hard to bring from front, they can use my back yard door but they can't, even they can't stay there for 1min, dont know why they are so in hurry. Overall I'm disappointed and will never buy anything from The Good Guys.

Used to like the good guys, but since the experience I had in January with a faulty product, disappointing customer service with the whole situation, being ghosted after submitting 2 queries & a letter to Head Office with no reply… quite shocking. Don’t think I’ll shop here again.

Over the weekend my partner and I purchased all of our white goods for our first ever home. We were greeted and looked after by Daniel. I can not recommend Daniel enough!! He was so helpful in every area and very accommodating to all our wants a needs. Thank you Daniel you made this once in a life time experience so wonderful.

Purchased a split system along with installation and a wall mount. Extremely disappointed, they came out, and did not finish the instalment as there was a lack of communication between them and good guys. I was sitting there on hot days with an unfinished split system installation. After 2 weeks of emailing and phoning good guys, no one got back to me on either. I ended up finding my own electrician and paying extra to do what good guys did not do! To this day, they still have no replied to any emails. Very poor! It’s my local good guys but I will NOT be shopping here!

What a regret walking into this store. Go somewhere else if you can. Not only did the sales lady be dishonest and overcharge me, I learned after hiring help to install the purchased washing machine (apparently ex demo) that it was possibly used and customer returned, it had no transport plugs and is missing the hose. The Store has not taken responsibility, I’ve contacted them, lodged a complaint and have not had anyone from Good Guys address the issue, no response. Very poor reflection on the name.

Paid for premium delivery and asked for delivery on 1/01/2024. The delivery driver came in front of our home but never rang the doorbell or knocked at the door. Only called the mobile number and since it was unattended he went back without delivering but took the photo of our home from his truck and said failed delivery. We got the delivery rescheduled for the next day and we received a text message saying delivery between 9-12 on the 02/02/2024. When we called customer representative at the store after holding for a while they were able to tell us that the message sent was wrong but assured that it will be delivered between 2-3pm and received the delivery finally at 3:40pm. I was told by the manager regarding refund of the delivery charge but haven't heard anything at all.

The delivery service is the worst. They gave me a delivery date and timeframe. I made sure I was at home all day. At the end of the day, noone gave me a call that the delivery was cancelled, I only came to find out myself when I went to track my order. Then I got another delivery date with timeframe when I usually work. Not even able to get hold of the delivery service/driver to inform I won’t be home during that time. When I call good guys, there’s nothing they can do except for rescheduling but said that I need to be home the whole day because apparantly the delivery drivers can never make it in the timeframe. They really need to understand that people can’t take multiple days off from work just because the delivery is so so unreliable. Wouldn’t recommend because of the hassle you have to go through.

Bought a LG microwave from Good guys couple of months ago. The microwave stopped functioning after a few days , gave it for repairs to Good guys Cranbourne store and it has been 6 weeks we still haven’t got the microwave back. Went to the store to enquire and we were told microwave has been repaired but the repairer has no space in the van to transport the microwave to the store. We were further told that we can collect the microwave from the repairer and they cannot give any time lines. Finally got a loan microwave from the store. Pathetic service.

Worst customer service that I’ve ever experienced in my life. I ordered and paid on time. They said its gonna be delivered and set up a date. After that they keep changing dates for the delivery without me know . And every time i called , why they doing this without me know. They says sorry . Like when you forgot to inform a client of changing dates once. Its ok. But its the forth time .

As I had left my phone charger at home, 4 hours away, I needed to get a new one. It was 5.20pm on a Tuesday night 10 mins before they closed. I was able to call them and they waited for me to get there. Great service.

Worst customer service, waited 1 hour 45min but no response

Security at the front door was extremely rude. I was made to feel like I was trying to steal. She watched me go and buy lint balls, and let 3 people in front of me out the door, wishing them a nice day, didn't ask to see their receipts, but stopped me, demanding to see mine, which she could clearly see I was holding in my hand. Absolute joke!

I had to wait to be served but was later assisted by Mark who answered all my queries and helped me sign up for the new mobile plan I was after. He was patient and respectful and provided me with an excellent customer service. Thank you Mark!

I bought 75” inch lg display tv from the store . Accessories were missing when tv was delivered. I spoke with the sales guy. He was extremely rude and started blaming me for missing accessories. Store manager promised to get the magic remote delivered at my address. Nothing was received neither anyone sent correspondence to me . No one replied to my emails sent . Extremely bad service . Won’t recommend anyone to buy anything I would give NEGATIVE 5STAR RATING 😔😔

We purchased an oven with the Good Guys on 1/6/23. We paid nearly $4000 so they have our money and we have no product!!! They said there wasn't one in store and they would order one. I was advised on 14/6/23 in a message the oven was ready to be collected from Cranbourne store . Our oven was booked into be installed on 19/6/23 and the service men went to the Good Guys to collect it and they said there wasn't one in stock. I have taken time off work for them to install this and I am really angry with what has happened. We will not be buying from the Good Guys ever again!!!

Bought an all in 1 lenovo pc 18/02/2021.($1123.00) The machine was very slow,used it for few months,came to a point that cannot use it anymore . Brought to cranbourne good guys ,they had a look,they send it to repair centre. Had it with them for 4 weeks.Then i received the machine,saying things got fixed. It was slighly improved. But,day by day it start slowing down. Could not use it. Keep on a side. Bought a new computer from Harvey norman to replace this. As the machine was still in warrenty period,brought it to Good guys to fix it again .Team member had a look,said it has not been updated and he could solve the problem ,i knew its not that simple. It did not boot after software update ,it was that slow. Then he realized he cannont fix it in house,said he has to send it to repair centre again and ask me to wait for 3-4 weeks. As per the sales person he said they have to send the computer *4 times to repair centre before the replace the machine. Lucky i had another computer with me. If not it will be with the technicians for 4-5 months in all 4 times to fix it. So all up within warranty period,considerable time we have to keep with technician.This is seriously disspointing. We cannont comeback again and again to fix a machine,wasting our time. I do not recommend to purchase through Good guys due to their warranty terms,be mindful .

Where are the staff??? Every other, Good guys store I've been in you get asked, can I help you within a few minutes. It's one of the reasons I'm a return customer. But myself an multiple other customers have been left Unattended for longer then 15mins. And with an Ankle injury, I'm very tempted to just walk out.

My daughter needed to return a faulty item. Daniel went above and beyond to help us work through this process (as it is a bulky item) and was so patient the whole time. Daniel returned my calls promptly and let me know when he would be in store so that we could complete the return.

Like every other store, nothing special. Store returns and cash are frowned upon due to so called covid restrictions. Cash is legal tender and I believe is illegal to refuse.

The single worst purchasing experience I have ever encountered, I have never written a review before. Tried to make purchase with delivery for my elderly parents. Goods were not supplied, no communication, no refund offered. nearly 3 weeks now. abusive staff when I followed up. this has cost me hours of my time and I have purchased elsewhere from a reputable provider. Never again.

Went into the store and spoke to Ben regarding an issue with a faulty iRobot - wouldn’t connect to my wifi on Phillip Island. Ben was happy to help and great to deal with and processed the refund once we explained what the issue was. He’s happy to check with the Rep to see if he knows of any that will work on the Island as he’s heard of this problem before and to let me know the answer. I’ll be going to Cranbourne Good Guys next time I need anything they sell!

Recently took it upon my self to do some research to purchase a dash cam. Did the usual went to door to door JB Hifi , Good Guys Auto barn etc etc! Could’ve find a sales person to help at JB HIFI.Most of them on the phone or avoiding customers! Couldn’t understand it! So I left and went next door to the Good Guys. Funny enough I had the same experience last time ,I made a major purchase at at the Good Guys. So I left JB Hifi and went next door to the Good Guys. Upon entering we attempted to find some one, who redirected me to another. This Salesperson name was ELFIX who was extremely polite and helpful. I found him also to to be knowledgeable on the product also. To make my day he offered me a special deal with the combination of the purchase of the Dash cam. to the point I got it for nothing.I go on saying this Salesperson, is a company asset to have and keep.And I will say I would recommend him to other .I go on saying to the young man thank you for your curiosity and service provided at the time of my purchase. I BE BACK!
