Food and service was absolutely wonderful!

Very disappointing… Went tonight for a drink & dinner in the beer garden. Barman was rude & seemed totally disinterested, couldn’t pour a good beer. Main meal of fish n chips was good but pork belly came out stone cold inside. Made a polite complaint & was treated very poorly by management with barely an apology. Was made to feel we were the problem. Would never go back..

Tried the Parma here. Wasn’t impressed . Little on the dry side.

Bright and clean. Good dining room. Had the pork roast a bit dry but still a good meal.

just had lunch at the Berwick inn & left very disappointed with the service & the accessibility of only having one disable car park witch is very strange as Berwick is a old town. i ordered a steak sandwich & was able to only eat half & when leaving i have asked the staff if they had something for me to take it home & was told as we don't do take away we done have take away containers but you can have some napkins to take the food home?? . i then did state the we can c into the kitchen & there was a heap of containers that would find at Coles that cost $6 for 20-30 that i have at home but i was told by the manager that the kitchen has proper reusable ones & cant give you one of them as they don't do take away. so i didn't want to grab the food with a napkin and push my daughters wheelchair at the same time & didn't think its a good idea to carry my steak sandwich in the car dripping with juices was a good idea so i just left it on the plate so very disappointed in many aeras and the manager needs to go on a customer service course & should be able to come up with better excuses why a customer couldn't have a 10c container to take there food home this is the first restaurant that has ever said just take it home in a napkin. but one good thing they have spent hundreds & hundreds of thousands doing the place up & even installed 2 very expensive wheelchair lifts in & the out door aera looks great but (cant afford to help a customer with a 10c container i would have paid $2 dollars if need ) i hope they look into putting more disable car parks in or those lift will go to waste as only having one i think is a bit light.

Food was good but disappointed that they don't have take away containers available. Was a shame to throw out half a $50 steak for lack of a container

Lucky to reserve a table here today. We haven't been here for a long while but definitely won't let the next visit be far off. We were greeted promptly at the door by professional and friendly faces. Compliments to the chefs for the quality of the food delivered by friendly staff in a timely manner. Presentation was beautiful and chef's kiss for taste, portion sizes and variety in the menu.

The Berwick Inn offers a fantastic experience with great service and delicious food. Rachelle, the manager, ensures everything runs smoothly and the staff is friendly and attentive. The Nasi Goreng is a standout dish—full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend it for a five-star experience!

Enjoyed my time at Berwick Inn Hotel today. Had a lovely Calamari lunch quite reasonably priced. Service was quick and staff polite. A bit noisy as it filled up but this ol guy can't take as when much younger. Will go again. 😀

Nice vibrant pub environment. The food was excellent! Came back for their lamb cutlets but but the salmon and Buffalo wings (special menu) were very nice too!

Not told about thechefs specials, meals were very average and no pasta on menu , for what we paid very average, l had the steak sandwhich and it looked like 10 people had jumped on it out theback , wouldnever go back again .

Love the upgrades, it's been worth the wait. The food is still great, my steak came out cooked perfectly. Staff were all friendly, and the bistro is clean and tidy. Couldn't ask for much more!

Covid has taken it's toll and is reflected in the menu and offerings at quite a few establishments! The Berwick Hotel is no different! Taking this into account I thought the reduced menu, altho a surprise, was adequate but i do have to say I did miss their usual menu!! I'm questioning whether I'd go back with this reduced selection, paying the same price and still expecting the usual good service that I've had in the past.

Bistro area, no effort was a terrible experience. So many venues put so much effort what was that tonight? Just give another venue your money, plenty near this area. I’m genuinely problematised as to how they still operating.

There for Christmas lunch and was blown away by the volume of food on the buffet (food kept coming out all through the afternoon). Great service by Brooke and highly recommend the Berwick Inn (my wife and I regularly go dinner and again great food / service, value for money).

Christmas Day family lunch was fantastic. The staff were all really helpful and happy. There was plenty of amazing food and the rooms were not overcrowded. Our family vote at the end of the day was to go back again next year.

There were 20 of us! First time EVER my family had eaten out, and I cannot thank you enough. The food was AMAZING, the staff were SO HAPPY and WELCOMING. It wasn't too crowded and you didn't have to line up for the food. We will definitely be booking again next year. For me it was such a relief to not be on my feet all day, constantly cleaning and serving. You should all be so proud of yourselves. The pub looks fantastic. Absolutely great day. Best Christmas in years from an easy day perspective!. You are all so very appreciated. Have a great New Years! Thank you.

Nowhere better for Christmas lunch. 10 years we have been going and it's as great as ever. Quality of food is excellent, service from staff is spot on and atmosphere is relaxed. New normal menu is good value too. Cocktail list has been revamped and is highly recommend with good prices. Love the renovations to the bar area. It's moody and atmospheric, like all great bars should be. We can't wait to return.

Very expensive for what you get

Had a roast here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The only thing was there was a air conditioner above us and it was freezing.

First and last time I will be going to the Berwick Inn. Took my wife out for her birthday and waited almost an hr for a dry parma and my steak. I wanted medium and it was medium rare. Portions were small. We were done in under 10mins and that pepper sauce was so bad. It tasted like mold, or something mixed with old work socks. No one asked how the food was and it just felt like a lack of care for the customers. Even with the whole order thing with your phone felt strange. Like a dine in Uber eats. I can not recommend this as a place for a meal. I'll be going elsewhere.

This is a nice venue, looks good after the reno. Service was good. Food was enjoyable. I was disappointed that they do not have any containers to take away left over food. What was more disappointing was being lied to about the reason for this. 2 staff members told me the venue has no licence for this. I advised them both that there is no legal requirement for a food business to have any kind of special licence to allow a customer to take away left over food. Their response was that is what we've been told to say"."

Every Tuesday my mother and I attend here for lunch . We love entering via the gaming room to see the beautiful and lovely Paula , she is a breath of fresh air . HOWEVER … Ever since the updated menu and changes to the staff it is impossible to get our order correct . Especially from Rochelle as she has no idea what she is doing. It is extremely frustrating when we order a chicken schnitzel with JUST salad we always end up with a tiny bowl of just salad or it comes with chips we didn’t order . THEN if you just want vegetables you get charged an EXTRA $6 for just wanting vegetables without any chips or salad … I don’t understand what has gone wrong with the menu … I have spoken to management ( Rochelle?) and she seems to be quite blunt and refuses to offer even just some green vegetables .. considering a chicken schnitzel is $26 you should be the option of either salad or vegetables AND a different type of gravy why am I getting charged an extra $2 for peppercorn gravy when you get a rich gravy with your meal anyway !? It doesn’t make sense and the staff are confused and don’t understand it either !!! If this continues sadly we won’t be back because each week it just gets worse and we are over it!! Do better ! Happy to share a picture of our pitiful salad without chips !!!

Susan was my first point of contact on the phone & in the restuarant, what a delight. Megan, cared for our table and was incredubly polite. The other staff on that evening was Brianna, Harrison, Darcy, Ruby & Ethan.

Lovely night for 10 of us but no one would clear our table of dinner plates or used glasses. Not once. I did ask but no one to do it. We even had to have our cake with ‘everything’ cluttered on table. All the tables around us were the same. Sad as it was a lovely night otherwise

Have made all sorts of enquiries over the phone lately and always met with friendly, helpful staff.. nothing too much trouble and they follow up just like they say they will.

We shared three plates from the shared platter menu all of which were excellent. Good wine list made it easy to find a wine match. Stand out of the evening was the service. Susan, who seemed be be managing the floor was excellent and found a table during a busy night. Megan too was fantastic . Great service great food and a lovely family atmosphere. We‘ll be back.

We hadn’t eaten here since the revamp last year but thought it was about time to see what’s what. We had the Parma, Korean fried chicken and pork belly. All the meals were really good, the service was good and the atmosphere was good for a casual midday get together. Nothing was exceptional but also nothing to fault. Will definitely go back again 🙂

Very pleasant staff all round. The new venue upgrades look great and I enjoyed the atmosphere. Food was very well presented. Staff assisted me with my choice and it was perfect. I don’t come often but my satisfaction continues. Great job thank you. Can’t wait to eat this sticky date. 😊

Love the new Renos outside and inside bistro,beautiful comfy chairs in bistro lounge.I always have seniors meal with porterhouse steak with creamy large prawns with mushroom sauce and roasted veggies.I went 2 day with my aunty,MENU now changed.No seniors on steak no porterhouse, no snrs on chicken parmigiana,I I can’t have chips due to gut problems but got told couldn’t delete or replace.Ordered seperate roast veggies and paid extra which came out on seperate plate…All was beautiful but too big of a meal..Also no soups ..My aunty had last week had steak loin,terrible all chewy..I can’t eat fatty foods with gut probs…no pasta on menu....Please bring back old menu…I can get snrs steak at Pink Hill ,Hallam and Cardi hotels..Love your service all staff amazing,nothing too much trouble….please consider customer feed back… Thanks for replying customer team.We couldn't find snr porterhouse on new menu.Went up to order and girl confirmed no snrs meal on steak or porterhouse..no Roast meat meal either..no snrs on Parma only on snitchzel. Beautiful Reno's..

Renovations are great along with the food and service. Definitely a big improvement to the Bewick inn. Highly recommended

Average pub style food , nothing to rave about , good enough to eat though . Greasy tables , place mat menus a little tatty , wait staff would rather be somewhere else .

Newly renovated, looks nice, but missed the mark in other ways. Still an alright option for a night out at the pub.
