Bunnings Box Hill

One male staff at the information desk just when you enter the door, was the rudest of all staffs at Bunnings Boxhill. Friday 28th Feb @5:40 pm, after waiting for 20mins, there's two customers left which was me and the one in front. This male staff help the one in front of me, and then left, what a shocking attitude! To cut it short, when I left to find another cashier, he came back at the desk, so I said, customer should be treated fairly regardless, and without asking what help I need, he straight responded saying 'I don't do returns', and I said, 'I just want to pay'. Then another male staff came, and same attitude, and with a toned telling me 'DO YOU ME TO CALL THE MANAGER', I said, don't bother, what's gonna happen. These two people don't know politeness, it won't change anything to them personally. They're just give a bad reputation to those staff members that actually knows great customer service. What a shame!

Had a disappointing experience Sunday afternoon. I approached a female staff member (decorated in piercings) in the outdoor garden section who pretended to not see me. I proceeded to ask her a question and was dismissed with an abrupt answer and never once made an effort or eye contact in her response. Will not be returning in a hurry!

A great shop at Bunnings Box Hill today. Found what I needed, including a very elusive sized battery and was cheerfully welcomed and helped by Willow and James. Wonderful service!

Good selection of everything you need for the garden and home maintenance

No one answers the phone! I called in the non busy hours and is always waiting for like 20 min

Bunnings Box Hill advertise that they have hire equipment. Once I arrived, I was told it was told it was a Kennards hire promo and that I actually had to go to Kennards. Very misleading and a waste of customers time.

Staff there were rude and not friendly at all, Sandra at the end of garden was rude to us and then we ask for help to the bbq session and the lady was looking annoyed we needed help…then we wait for staff to helps us with car assist and after 10min waiting no one came, rubbish service!

Just been served by one of the most rudest customer service people I have ever experienced. Waiting for my 91 year old father and was told to get in line. I could see where the line was but she couldn’t see my 91 year old father. Just plain old bloody rude. Mitre 10 here we come. Quite remarkable that staff with no customer service skills are put on a service desk. Perhaps they should train there staff with some customer service skills first before they put them on a service desk. In my case a lack of service and just plain rude.

I was very happy with Customers service at Box Hill Bunnings. Gary from building materials department was very helpful, he found a trolley for the large items I was purchasing and kindly pushed them and unloaded items into my car.The experience made my day!

Yesterday I was served by this wonderful guy called Carl and even though he was wearing a training badge so I knew he was still learning, he helped me pick out the blinds I needed and even got me a trolly to put them on. So excited to see such kind behaviour from Bunnings staff, keep it up!

Excellent advice and customer service. I had many questions for a DIY job and the staff in the Timber/ Trade area were all extremely helpful and answered all my questions.

Special mention here - Tim at the cut shop. Despite being tired and (I discover later) at the end of his shift, happily listens to my many requests and sorts all the cuts I need for my project. A Bunnings Legend.

What sort of bunnings has a sausage sizzle on and charges $3.50 for a sausage and $4 if you want onions and then tell you they don’t have a credit card machine. Come on bunnings do better I need my sausage’s.

Had to return a lot of items with several receipts after a large project. Dealt with Marc at the returns counter who was a credit to the store the way he handled the complex transactions with a smile!

I had fabulous service at Bunnings Box Hill yesterday morning. Tianna was helpful, accommodating, cheerful and obliging. After loading the soil onto a trolley and helping me choose a garden pot Tianna took my items to the car for me as I am unable to carry things at the moment. Many thanks for making shopping at Bunnings so easy and enjoyable.

Young bloke by the name of Jordan blake gave me a very fulfilling “hello.” This is the type of service I dream of, I would go there just to exchange hellos with him. Incredible service!

Bunnings stores never ever disappointed me. I have been shopping at Bunnings box hill for last 3.5 years, great team and culture. I just love Bunning, best in Australia :-)

In my opinion, the Bunnings lowest price policy is misleading and nothing more than a marketing tool. I asked about their price beating policy on a purchase of 10kg Lawn Solutions fertiliser. $55.96 at Anco and $69 at Bunnings. The sales assistant wasn’t knowledgeable about their policy with regards to it being a special orders item. He asked someone else and they said their pricing policy exclude special orders. None of their Ads clearly state this. In the past they have honored purchases of items that were not in stock at the time of purchase, so this is exactly the same status as a special order.

I had a delightful Father’s Day in Box Hill Bunnings today. Katie and Jade were very helpful for the after sales problem. I also had a hat offered by the team as a Father’s Day gift. I would definitely come back for such great customer service and team spirit.

Went here to buy some plants for my newly renovated alfresco area and got served by a lovely young lady named sienna. She went above and beyond, made checking out so easy and enjoyable! will definitely be coming here again!

I got a Bunnings Toy Truck for free!! Sadly the door on the back broke the first time I used it, luckily it got replaced and I got two more 100% off!!! Thank You Bunnings!!

I am a loyal customer of your BHS Store since it started as I live local. I needed a couple of cardboard boxes to.pavk dome fragile chinaware and crockery. I came in today to request this is the first time . 4.30pm Sunday. The female staff at the front of the store was so rude. She instructed me to go to Aisle 65 and buy boxes as she could not keep giving free boxes to anybody who walks in!! As loyal customers this is not the type of behaviour we expect!! Then another younger female staff came upto me and politely requested me to come in mid week when deliveries ate made and empty boxes may be available.

One of the largest bunnings store in the surrounding 15-20kms. Very busy and popular. Sadly, the car park is a little small for the number of cars, suvs, trailers. Take extra care and be patient when entering or exiting this store.
