Fun little place hidden in the back of Ferntree Gully. It sports a quaint Irish theme with friendly staff who were very welcoming. It has a family business vibe with a basic menu. We had the schnitzel paramas, a traditional one and a bolognaise. The traditional was quite nice with chips and a salad. Don't let the basic look of the salad fool you, the dressing is super nice. Partner said the bolognaise on schnitzel may be an acquired taste, so keep that in mind. My traditional Parma was spot on.

First time for us at paddy’s tavern , Great friendly staff, awesome live music, fantastic food at a great price , the Irish nachos are incredibly good! Very cosy with a terrific atmosphere If you want a great night out I can definitely recommend this gem

We came here for dinner as we had never been before. Serving sizes are not too bad. The Parma was juicy and the sauce used was really nice. The salad was really nice but there wasn't much on the plate. Not too often Places have a nice salad. Staff are great and super friendly. I probably wouldn't come back as I have found better in the area but overall a really nice experience especially due to friendly staff

Great casual vibe at Paddy’s Tavern💚I’ve been there several times since around mid 2023. Publican especially but all staff I’ve found friendly and welcoming. Friendly patrons too! Free live music and always good musicians in my experience. Check it out! Kathryn C

Lovely meal except mixed vegetables were from a frozen packet. Seeing I was paying top dollar I expected better.

Favorite place for good tunes and a friendly Fri night out. Food is fantastic Bailey's cheesecake is even better 😋 cheers to our local Cheers bar! Where everyone that doesn't already know will know your name!

Nice food, the beef & guiness pie was a little runny and a little too sweet for my liking, but great flavour & beautifully creamy mash. Hubby had pork spare ribs that fell off the bone, and had good flavour. Our friends had the chicken burger & veggie lasagne, both got the thumbs up. Paddys lost a star because they stuffed up our order, our friends got their food way before we got ours, & had nearly finished by the time we were fed!

Paddy's is a small old school pub. There's no fancy architecture or overpriced drinks or annoying hipsters. For that alone it gets 4 stars. There's often live music, but the acoustics aren't great. It can be hard to have a conversation when the band starts playing. Patrons are mostly older.

Not sure why it has taken us so long to give this a look in, so highly recommend if you love Guinness and Kilkenny. Great food too, all cooked to order with that home cooking love by Sally. Plenty of live music, so check it out.

The food is not good.. very little variety, service was not good, allowed regulars to just push in no matter how long you've been waiting. Did not enjoy it

Went for the first time for dinner last night. Meals were delicious. Good size servings, lovely fresh salad, chips were cooked to perfection, the tastiest mash & the parmas were top notch. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, nice cold beers. Will definitely be coming back here. Best place in town! Cheers 🍻

Went there tonight with a few friends for a Parma and few drinks and have to say was one went the best parma's we have all had in a while, great little place, great service, and really friendly people who run it. Definitely worth checking out.

Quaint little venue in a positive way. Extensive menu with great options for the whole family, extremely generous portions and tasty food. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Warm and welcoming atmosphere with friendly, respectful patrons. Worth a visit or two, that's for sure.

Great little pub, discovered it while I was in the area. Food came out got and there was plenty to eat. The meals were large enough to feed 2 people. Atmosphere was really nice. It was like a country pub in the suburbs. Definitely be back.

Bloody brilliant place with live music and great food. Indoor and outdoor seating and a nice little fireplace on the cold nights.

Awesome. My friend is hard vegan and not much on the menu for it in fact like two choice's. Not their fault. It is a choice for the person. The Irish traditionally are about staples really. Meat is on the menu. They have vegetarian dishes btw. They fully accommodated her choice of preferences, gave her options to choose from because there food is fresh and had it available to change it up. It was a awesome experience friendly and really satisfying. REALLY easy to communicate thank you for a excellent experience. After all we have been through! oh and my guiness pie was amazing second to mine 😋 ♥️ it was still awesome. Thank you for a great night

A little bit expensive but a nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly. A bit disappointed with the meal but may try again with a different item from the menu.

We'll definitely be back! Had a lovely, perfectly poured Kilkenny ale on this blistering hot day and a friendly chat with the bartender. With live music and karaoke, it looks like a place we'll have to visit in the evenings too. Great spot to stop in for a cool brew.

Recently moved into the area. Went in last night to have a bite to eat and a few drinks with my partner and some friends, spent well into the night chatting with the patrons and bar keep. Couldn't have asked for a better pub, great atmosphere and welcoming vibe. Easy to say, I've definitely found my new local and couldn't be happier supporting a brilliant local business. Will be seeing you shortly!
