Lovely foods !!! Excellent service !!!
We love the venue, such a great atmosphere. Been here for a number of family celebrations since we found the venue!
Beautiful place to be there with family and friends
Always fantastic service, friendly and food is always yum with good prices
Always awesome food, the staff are incredibly friendly would recommend!!!!!
Quick lunch fix. Had the steak deal And was decent. Pizza was good.
Went on Thursday steak night. Porterhouse steak seemed smaller than 300g and was quite chewy unfortunately. Asked for medium rare but was closer to medium. Rice paper rolls were fantastic though.
Fantastic evening at The Amazing Grace with family for a school holiday program event. Lovely environment and atmosphere, great food and drinks, and fast, friendly service.
Six of us had dinner there on a Saturday night. I ordered the smoked brisket and side of greens. The greens were fantastic but the brisket was tiny and came on a small side plate. Not great value for what you pay for. We then ordered 3 desserts. After waiting an hour for them and asking staff to follow up twice, we asked for a refund and went to McDonalds for an apple pie and soft serve for the kids. Their serving staff were not attentive or friendly either. They moved around everyone like we were all an inconvenience and couldn't leave soon enough. Kids play area was small and very dirty. It's a beautiful setting being a converted church. But sadly service makes the experience a let down.
Great food with an Amazing environment. We sat inside, but would recommend the outside tables. Easy parking, and a great choice of meals and drinks.
Love it, the food was really good.
Buger was like it was wet soggy not nice
Great! food a good night out. If busy there is no parking that is the only problem.
Was with a number of people and got given an outdoor area, had no air con, fans or anything on a hot day. Wasn't good.
Love this place
Loved the forks and atmosphere. Will come back.
Lovely staff and good food. Really nice venue for big and small groups.
Food and service were great. What we didn’t enjoy was group of Xmas work functions happening very loud and made dining experience very uncomfortable. Some were very drunk loud swearing quickly ate and left. Our first and last. Perhaps a private area for these type of functions.
Expensive for what was delivered. Loud annoying music
Still pretty good place to visit but food not up to usual standard and service pretty slow
Pizza night. Pizza was nice. Didn't get meals together. Some of us finished, others still waiting for Pizza. Not impressed. Won't be back. Waited over one hour for food
Great spot, lovely food, great atmosphere & very welcoming & friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed & will 💯% will return & recommend to friends & family Ty kindly for a lovely experience, great set up !!
Beautiful food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere
Food and service are always great. This is our go-to place to eat in Cranbourne. We normally get a bunch of entrees and pizzas to share, and the portions are reasonable. We always leave with leftovers. The church side is beautiful, but there are stairs and the otherside is very roomy but can get very loud and echoed. All in all, i will continue to be coming here.
This place is absolutely the greatest place to go with mates or your family. The food is fantastic, the service is wonderful and the atmosphere really great I would recommend trying this place
This place is great; It's one of the best steaks I've had in a long time and going back next Thursday for another!
Our first time for lunch at Amazing Grace and we amazed. Food was fantastic, atmosphere is fabulous. Young guy (front of house) helps achieve the amazing vibe. Last time I visited this place it was a church, now it will be our local go to for drinks and a meal. Highly recommend 🙂
I absolutely loved the experience at amazing grace. The food and service were amazing.
Great place to eat. Old converted church with some of the original stain glass windows etc. Food was good and great service
Pizza was terrible. They gave us our pizza, no cutlery, no serviettes, no plates, and the service was shocking. 1st time and only time I'll eat there.
Venue is good and food was nice
Was a bit noisy but the food was delicious and the staff very attentive! Drinks arrived quickly after ordering and food shortly after.
People smoking at the front entry door, way too noisy and sticky tables. Not a great start. Had to yell at the person sitting next to me so they could hear what I was saying. Looking past that, I can see the old serving dishes and plates from the Mexican restaurant that was formally in the building, and some of them are tired and worn out. The food was ok but nothing to rave about. The Salt and Pepper Squid was probably the nicest offering for the evening even if it was a bit squishy. The staff were very diligent, running around seating everyone and getting food and drinks sorted. 👍👍Well done team, fabulous effort.
Beautiful food
Food was good, the ambience was great.
Amazing Grace, Amazing Place. Great atmosphere, average prices, friendly staff, amazing food. The chef cooks one of the best steaks we've ever tasted. Just wish drinks orders came a little faster, but overall 10/10 experience. Will be our go too restaurant from now on. We've been telling everyone to come try this place out. They won't be disappointed.
The place is beautiful, the staff are really cheery and friendly. The food has always been immaculate. I always order an array of entrees - the pork belly and saganaki are must haves and the cheeseburger spring rolls have to be god made because I was in heaven when eating them. I always recommend this place to my friends and I come a few times a year myself.
Very nice and relaxed place to eat. Food is of great quality. There's a small play area, where the kids can go after they've eaten to play. We recommend.
What a brilliant find! Everything about this place was fantastic. Booking was easy, greeted the moment we walked in, service was 100% and the food and drinks were DELICIOUS! A steak that was perfect and the best chips we have ever had! I also really truly appreciated the neurodiverse friendly approach to our seating. It has been a very long time since I actually enjoyed a night out with dinner because I usually can’t mentally get through it due to being very sensitive to noise so the fact you guys accommodated us so effortlessly has made us loyal patrons forever ♥️ Thank you so so much!
We ate here as a party of three and we’re having such a nice time, I forgot to take photos! We were in on a Saturday night and there was live music that helped create a nice atmosphere but wasn’t intrusive (although a little loud for some in my group). We ordered using the QR code but had the option to order at the register. We had the pork belly starter and chips, chicken Parma and crème brûlée. The pork belly came with two pieces and was enough to have as a dinner alongside chips. It’s served with a maple apple sauce which was very tasty. I prefer apple sauce to have a bit more tartness than sweetness but this is just preference, I ate it all and enjoyed it. The chicken Parma’s were big and juicy and served with a fresh and tasty salad. Our table cleaned the plates, but I did notice that there were others in the restaurant who were provided with containers to take leftover meals home. The highlight for me was the crème brûlée. This is my favourite dessert when done right and this one was wonderful. Beautifully creamy with a nicely browned top with a good crack.
Booked for 25 people for a birthday event. Was told we'd be contacted to have our booking confirmed a few days prior but never received a phone call. On the day, our group had to be split across two separate tables. No apology offered. Food was average at best but still attracting a hefty bill. Calamari entree was undercooked and not edible. Tomahawk steak is shown on their menu on the website but has been removed from the actual menu. This venue showed promise the first few times, but unfortunately that is no longer the case. Will not be back.
Disappointed this place has gone down hill. The last 2 times we have booked a table “inside” for dinner thinking we were booking inside the main area which has a nice vibe from past experiences. Both times we were placed in the old church where there has been parties on as well so it’s been loud and unpleasant. The staff are not very friendly anymore, barely a smile and a bit unorganised. The menu has changed to just an average pub menu with the quality of the food not bad but nothing to write home about. Then to top it off the disabled toilet which houses the baby change table we needed had a broken lock on the door with a sign saying “lock is broken use at own risk” which then caused someone walk in while I was mid changing a pooey nappy. Overall a big disappointment based on first impressions when the place first opened. It has so much potential and with the vibe in the main area seeming to be so nice with the outdoor area as well as kids space it wouldn’t take much to bring it back to first impressions. They firstly need to update the website to state which area you are booking a table in. Tell staff to be a bit more approachable and happy and tweek the menu a touch. Just to name a few. We won’t be going back for while at the least.
Great service, tasty food. Lovely atmosphere too. Family friendly with lots of kids games.
Food was great, entrance was confusing. Staff customer service was poor.
Boss drinks on the job good role model for staff
The dining experience was a mix of highs and lows. The food quality was satisfactory, but the service left much to be desired. The lack of a welcoming atmosphere upon entry, difficulty in finding the entrance, and the absence of staff at critical moments made for a less than ideal visit. The convenience of app-based ordering and payment was overshadowed by the neglect in service, from the absence of cutlery to the lack of acknowledgment upon departure. In a city brimming with hospitable dining options, the overall experience was underwhelming, highlighting the importance of customer service in the hospitality industry. To enhance the dining experience, the restaurant could focus on improving customer service. This includes training staff to greet customers promptly, providing clear guidance on seating and ordering processes, and ensuring that basic table settings like cutlery are readily available. First and last visit, wouldn't waste my time here again.
Their food is so yumm but the only thing I don’t like is waiting. It takes to long to serve food we wait about an hour for food and drinks .
I got the wagu burger, hamburger spring rolls, chicken nuggets, jelly , cheerios , overall the food was good. The spring rolls are quite different, but yummy, burger was cooked well , and dessert was yummy , it was very busy but the staff had it uncontrolled. I would recommend this place to others.
Yummy lunch with family. Delicious flathead and chips. Perfect!
Chicken was under cooked and when asked to get it cooked, the manager (female with short hair and glasses) jumped out and basically told us we were liars and told us to shut the eff up….. she was so rude and unkind. We didn’t have a bad attitude and were trying to explain ourselves with respect and kindness and she just totally walked all over us! When asked for what her name was, was told they don’t “do names in this restaurant” - whatever that means. Really disappointed- we go to drag bingo all the time and now it’s been tainted with a terrible customer service experience
Had the best chicken pesto pizza ever (it was a year ago) but forgot to ask for the chef name. Came back 2 times later but could never have that experience again :(((
Nice venue, great staff. Obviously very popular with people which is good. Unfortunately food wasnt fantastic with the mains of beer battered flathead tails being well overcooked and left to sit at the pass so was room temp around the edges when arrived. In the end sent most of meal back uneaten. Otherwise a pleasant evening.
Very expensive. Definatly not worth visiting. Noisy, with bad lighting. Long waits at bar for expensive drinks.
Food and service was amazing. First time there tonight and will definitely visit again.
Great atmosphere 😍
Incredible 👌 Amazing food, great portions, and lovely atmosphere. We've also taken our dog here in the past for Breakfast/Brunch in the outdoor patio area and had a great experience. The staff are so lovely as well 🙂
Attened on the 3rd of July. Slow Service and Poor Timing I arrived for lunch at 12:30 PM, expecting a pleasant dining experience based on previous reviews. Unfortunately, the reality fell far short of expectations. The restaurant was not busy, with no more than 15 other diners present. Despite this, the service was excruciatingly slow. We ordered two entrees and two main courses. The entrees took 50 minutes to arrive, which was already concerning. The main course timing was even worse. My steak arrived 55 minutes after ordering, but my partner's pizza didn't come for over an hour. I had nearly finished my meal before my partner's food even reached the table. This lack of coordination in serving meals is unacceptable in any restaurant. The root of the problem seemed to be severe understaffing. The long waits and mismatched serving times suggest a kitchen and wait staff struggling to keep up, even with a relatively quiet lunch service. What we hoped would be a lovely lunch out turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. Given the poor service and timing issues, we will not be returning to this restaurant.
Great food and drink selection, great value for money and outstanding friendly service.
Beautiful venue but the food was average at best. Ordering was done via a QR code on your phone and I am not a fan of this. Wouldn’t recommend.
Super dog friendly, good quality steaks and generous portions
Great food. Friendly staff.
I booked here for our basketball teams lunch. The place was lovely staff were friendly. But if you are going to forget someone’s meal the least you could do is apologize. My sons Parma didn’t come out with all the other boys meals and then it left him to eat alone and the chicken Parma wasn’t that inviting and he only ate half of it. On a positive note all of the other meals that did come out on time were quiet nice and we had no other problems.
Porterhouse was AMAZING! It was a wee bit chilly inside tho… but lovely staff and great food… oh and the Singer was also good 😀🙏
Small serving sizes for the price, very basic/limited brunch menu. Service was ok. The atmosphere was it's saving grace.
The staff were great, the porterhouse was incredible, cooked med rare, charred and perfectly cooked with tasty crunchy chips. The salad was delicious with the perfect amout of dressing, finishing off with a Creme brulee. Highly recommended. It's now our go to place to eat...
I cannot believe I've never been here! Ordered the porterhouse steak and it was cooked medium rare to perfection. The saganaki was hot, salty with crispy edges, I would have ordered 10 if I knew how good they were. Very dangerous for me to know now I have a local restaurant that is this good haha. I'll be back on a weekly basis!! Thank you so much. I'm leaving full and very satisfied. Oh, and the sticky date is delicious to finish.
Great food and atmosphere highly recommended
Probably won't order the porterhouse again, it was okay but not great. Ordered rare but was overcooked. Chips were yummy though. Good vibes but our tables for 18 people were set up for sardines when there was plenty of space to add a few more tables for extra room.
Been coming here for close to a year and a half now and I have to say, if you haven't tried their food, you're missing out. Today my wife and I had lunch, we had the pork ribs, grilled prawn pizza and grilled garlic butter prawns (yeah we like prawns haha). Today's dishes were one of the best lunches we've had in a while, everything was fresh, delicious and they don't disappoint. Will always be coming back again when we're craving for their ribs or just good food in general.
Staff all done a great job on service & communication. Hot Sausage Pizza was very nice indeed. Served our table of 14 quickly with minimal errors..
We went for breakfast - very small menu, customer service was average, glasses were dirty, coffee was bitter and the food was underwhelming.. $25 dollars for a breakfast that had one half of a Turkish bread roll and very minimal sides.. really disappointing.
Had the 300g porterhouse with mushroom sauce. Was one of the best steaks I've had in a while.
Second time we come here and love it. We spent time on the dinner with live music. That was an amazing experience. Enjoyed the food, the music and the drinks.
The food was good, and the staff were friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed although a tad cold.
