Best of the best

The staff here are amazing and thoroughly know their products in store. I love that they work with your budget and find the best options for you. They also will show you more expensive ones explaining the differences between items when asked to but there is absolutely no pressure to buy a more expensive item. For this alone I give them 5 stars.

Terrible you cannot find a staff member to help you. The register lady was on phone while customers are waiting to be served. Come on your customers are your lively hood, have more staff on. Totally disappointed

Went into the Chirnside Park store a couple of weeks ago hoping to purchase a Freestanding Stove. The customer service skills and knowledge of the lady that served me were non existent. Unfortunately I left my preferred store and went 500mts up the road to Harvey Norman's... my non preferred store... and made my purchase there on the spot.... shame.

Fridge was damaged when I received it. Replaced with new fridge it was also damaged. Another new fridge Now the fridge is leaking water. Rang good guys. They suggested I ring the company direct. Asked why they can’t do it. Got told easier and quicker for me to do there JOB

Was coming in to look for a vaccum and wasn't planning to buy. Whilst looking Matt and Gus approached and offered help straight away and helped recommend what was best for our needs. They're both very knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful so we brought a vacuum. Thanks so much for the help highly recommend.

There is one particular salesman who I have had the pleasure of having serve me, he is absolutely wonderful. However the counter girls are so rude! Very little to no customer service.

The second I walked in the store, I was greeted warmly by Jordan. In brief, Jordan was super helpful, nice and efficient. I believe that Good Guys will earn more likes from customers with caring and helpful staff like Jordan.

My review is based on my experience solely with the salesman I dealt with on Saturday 28/09/24. I walked in and this gentleman Lucas asked me if he could assist. I said I was after a dishwasher said I was after a quality Bosch. We went very quickly through the models of Bosch. Other cheaper brands and he led me to an Asko. It was more than I wanted to spend but there was a discount promo so it came in nicely. Unit was delivered yesterday, I installed it promptly (I’m a licensed plumber) it’s done two big loads and I’m stoked. Point of the story. Lucas cut to the chase, didn’t once BS me. Gave a lot of information quickly and politely. I’ll seek him out for appliances for the rest of my current build and then after. Thank you.

After banging my head against a wall trying to research the best iron, microwave, kettle, toaster and tv, we went down to the Goodguys to get some advice. We were lucky enough to be served by Allison, who had a fantastic amount of knowledge on all products, and advised us on the best ones for our needs without upselling us unnecessary. Additionally when I price checked the items, she had already quoted us prices matching sales elsewhere. Brilliant customer service, will definitely make Goodguys Chirnside Park our first stop for future purchases!

I had a terrible experience purchasing a DeLonghi coffee machine from The Good Guys at Chirnside Park. I took the machine home excited for my morning coffee the following day. I then proceeded to figure out that something was obviously wrong with the machine and that I wouldn’t be able to do this. I took it back to the store where I was rudely told that it was probably user error but, then 3-4 staff failed to make it work but this was not enough evidence to give me a refund that day. They said that they would get a delonghi ‘rep’ to tell them if there was a problem with the machine. I was very unhappy and had to threaten to get the ACCC involved. I finally got a refund after 2 days. Rude & Incompetent staff that don’t know enough about the products that they are selling. I am a new home owner and i will not be going back to this store for anything.

Alison at Chirnside Park store is an absolute legend! she really came through for me this week with a delivery window! She went way above and beyond! Wonderful person and a huge asset to the store!

Sold me premium package to deliver new fridge and remove old fridge. After many phone calls, I still have no fridge running. Am told my staircase is narrow and need four men to remove my current fridge, which was bought in by two men. My new fridge was delivered to bottom staircase but then taken away as it's box won't fit and cannot be removed for safety reasons. I've paid in full but am still stuck with my old unworking fridge and unsure where my new fridge is currently.

Overall pretty disappointing experience. I purchased few things from them as they are close to my house and it was convenient. Every time customer service was poor. Hard to find someone for help. Then once you find someone they have little product knowledge. Only good to go there once you have done lots of research before hand. Staff always seemed bored and don’t even attempt to really engage with a customer. On top of it my last purchase, a heat pump dryer, was connected incorrectly and after first use I ended up with water all over my washing machine below and all over my floor. If the delivery guys do not know how to connect something then I rather they don’t touch it. I don’t think I will go back to this store.

Went into The Good Guys this afternoon with my parents looking for new electrical applicances for our new home and was assisted by an amazing employee Sapphire. Although she was new and only trained in some areas she was yet amazing and also had great input and opinions on different items we looked at. Gave my parents an amazing quote and was generally so kind! So thank you to Sapphire for making the experience much easier with the knoweledge you had and much nicer too. Keep up the good work!

Such an awesome place. I always shop here for any of my home office needs and home entertainment. I've bought a majority of my home appliances from here such as, dishwasher, TV, air fryer, vacuum cleaner, washing machine, dryer and list goes on. Staff are terrific. Popped in to enquire about a washing machine for our house move. After great support in store, we ended up getting a TV and fridge too. Peter was super throughout, offering us honest input, knowledge and support, both in store and over the phone. After setting us up three items on an invoice, we had to go back in store to pay due to a card issue at our end - received great help again from two other members of staff. Brilliant service, you have two new loyal customers.

Came in because we thought you had kitchen displays... nope😁 Had no intentions of buying anything! A lovely man (Ray) asked if there was anything else. This made me think of something l thought about 3 years ago. Ray explained the product to us and he was so kind and accommodating, we ended up purchasing. Was with my spouse on Xmas eve and was wanting some advice on Tv's. The staff member Mitch was extremely jovial , patient and very articulate with his words and demeanour. He even greeted us and offered to help items to our car if we needed it. I really enjoyed my visit at the good guys and whilst I didn't buy anything , he gave me A + Grade advice and service. Thank you the good guys.

3 ladies at the counter, had to request for service after waiting while they were fluffing around, the product I gave them had a 30% sign on the shelf & when that did not come up on their system, the staff member expected me to do her job & take a photo of the discount on their shelf, I hope they found the discount when they had to return the product to stock, poorest Good Guys service I ever had. Pathetic team 😝

Helpful staff, explained the difference between the models of appliances, carried my items for me and honoured a price tag that was labelled incorrectly.

Unprofessional, unhelpful, rude. If you're happy being spoken over the top of, threatened to have your call ended, never called back, then shop here. Had issues where our item didn't get delivered twice, which is fine, but this stores simple ability to provide customer service once you have already paid your money is zero.

My partner and I have bought all our appliances through Ray and he has been absolutely amazing, always given us great deals and customer service!

We had a disappointing experience with Good Guys Chirnside Park. We bought a Delonghi gas cooktop and Bosch oven on 12 Nov and paid for installation for both the cooktop and oven. We picked an installer (Ralcron Electrical) from their vetted list of installers and we were advised by Kurt that the same installer could do both the cooktop and oven and that our oven would be delivered on 15 Nov. On 13 Nov, Ralcron Electrical contacted us and said that they don’t do gas cooktops and to contact Good Guys to arrange for another installer. On 14 Nov, we spoke to Renelle and she said to leave it with her. Our oven was delivered on 15 Nov and we still didn’t hear back from Good Guys. We called on 16 Nov to follow up and eventually got Kurt to call us back. We re-explained the entire situation and Kurt said that he will sort it all out before he leaves for the day. Later that night, we got an email saying that a job was booked for the 17th so we waited the whole of the 17th for the installer to come. No one turned up. No explanatory email or text message from Good Guys. We called Good Guys for the third time this week on 17 Nov and Rob said this is the first time he’s hearing of this issue and that he will get his manager to call us by 9pm but no call received. The customer service at Good Guys Chirnside Park is extremely ridiculous to say the least.

I had a lovely lady help me purchase a washing machine on Sunday (I can't remember her name unfortunately its not on thr invoice) she helped me assess our laundry needs and explained the new technology that has changed since we last bought a washing machine. Nothing was too much trouble and she arranged next day delivery. I was extremely happy with the customer service and her knowledge of all the brands. The task of replacing our old washing machine easy with the delivery and taking of our old machine too. I would highly recommend Good Guys Chirnside park and won't hesitate to shop there again when it comes to replacing future house hold appliances. The lady that helped me was a big asset to the business.

We brought a tv and sound system tonight, Alison was a great sales person down to earth and honest, it was a great experience and we will certainly be back. Everyone including the manager very helpful and friendly

Purchased a Samsung fridge that was faulty from the good guys Chirnside park. Took 4 months to get a refund and tried endlessly to speak and email the operations manager Jaynie and also the Samsung area manager Wayne. Neither of them could care less and just kept fobbing us off to Samsung who were virtually uncontactable. After spending endless hours trying to follow this up, the only time they acted was when we got Consumer Affairs Victoria involved. I would never deal with the good guys again and recommend finding a reputable store to deal with. They’re happy to take your money but if anything is wrong with the product they just send you back to the supplier. The whole experience was a disgrace for both Samsung and the Good guys who have no care factor whatsoever for customer service

Had a great experience purchasing a tv from The Goodguys Chirnside park, they were able to do a reasonable price match. Unfortunately the tv had faulty screen, they were very good with return and replace without a fuss👍🏽 Anthony the person at the warehouse was very helpful to us. Definitely purchasing from there again!

Lucas was a very personable, professional who explained prons and cons of various brands of TVs in a kind way. Very impressed will continue shopping with Good Guys.

Terrible in store service!! I found exactly what I was after and was ready to purchase, but no one assisted us so we left. Probably a good thing as I ended up ordering the same item online from Amazon before even leaving the Good Guys car park which turned out to be cheaper and was delivered the next day.

Horrible customer service. I had go around between the customer service and the store to get a refund. At the end I just gave up. Very rude person answering the phone at the store.

Store assistants sit there taping away on their mobile while the queue builds. Go somewhere else where they are prepared to give a bit of service.

If there is something free at good guys never go to get it. It will be soon bankrupt with this terrible behaviour towards customer.

Very poor customer service, I had lot of issues with getting refund which I then gave up after wasting hours. Rather than fixing your issue they will tell you to contact customer care and from there, they’ll pass ball between store and support office. Person at phone is very rude.. I would try a different Good guys store.

This place has the worst after sales care out of any retailer that exists, The manager at the front desk is extremely rude, even when you are talking to another assistant she will butt in with her rudeness, i will never shop there again. JB are so much better to deal with.

DO NOT BUY THE EXTRA COVER! Total scam. These guys would swindle their grandmother if they could. Late last year I bought a very expensive coffee machine here and bought the five year cover for an additional (just under) $200. Today I returned the coffee machine as it doesn’t work. The refunded the coffee machine but refused to refund the five year cover I’d purchased despite only having the machine for about eight weeks and it was still under manufacturers warranty. So they got $200 out of me for a machine I don’t have. I should have kept the machine and the cover and just kept bringing it back and forcing them to fix it. Didn’t think of that of that at the time but that might have been a fun little five year game. Next time! Oh wait there won’t be a next time because I’m a JB HIFI girl now.

Absolutely Pathetic company. No stock in store or at the warehouse yet advertising sales on items just save your time just go to Harvey Norman 100m down the road.

After seeing advertised a 12 volt smart tv I went in to purchase only to be told you can't get a 12 volt smart tv. I went 5 min down road to competitor and bought a 12 volt smart tv. Perhaps better product knowledge would be of great use to staff members.

I live in Regional Vic and was in town today. I looked online the night before for mobile phones as I needed to purchase 2. I stopped at Good Guys Dandenong Sth and they informed me that the sale ended last night at midnight. The staff there were great, they offered the sale price but on looking at stock levels they did not have any on hand. I continued on my way home and stopped at Chirnside Park. The lady that served me was extremely nice and I explained the situation and that I wanted to purchase 2 of the phones. She scanned the phone and it still came up on the sale price. She got 2 phones out took me to the computer and proceeded to set up the sale. At this stage she couldn't scan for the sale price again. She proceeded to approach her Manager (I believe Alex) and explain the situation. After 10 minutes of wasting my time he offered 1 phone at the sale price as that what was scanned. Lets keep in mind I asked for 2 phones prior to scanning. Alex than says technically he does not not need to offer me anything but will do one phone for the sale price and the other at full price. I told Alex he can keep his phones and lock them back up in the cupboard until next sale. That was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have been a loyal on going shopper with The Good Guys for many of years but the this experience will not be rushing me back into any of your stores again. Thanks Alex

This is purely for the phone system, and not just this store, all of the store. The big thumbs down - appalling system. Takes 10 minutes to get through, that's if it doesn't say, we're too busy, goodbye. Put on hold waiting for people to answer your call. When you finally get through, great service.

I needed a new television as my one decided it had had enough, all I had was voices. The staff at The Good Guys at Chirnside Park are easy to talk to and very helpful with information on the product you are looking for.

Pretty good. Quite a nice store. Got a surprise additional discount on a heater when we got to the checkout. Greatly appreciated.

Had fantastic customer service from The Good Guys Chirnside Park. Needed to fix some issues with a purchase made at a different store and the three members of staff I dealt with on Saturday, including the manager on duty, were very pleasant and accomodating and went above and beyond to rectify the purchase problem. Would go back based solely on that experience.

Salesperson was Millan, excellent service, goods even got free delivery and delivered in the two days promised.

Today I had the pleasure of purchasing a Sony KD-75X80J TV from The Good Guys Chirnside Park. This TV is awesome, the price was right and the transaction was very slick. In and out in 25 mins. Special mention to Ray for his no BS sound advice. Ray was very busy juggling a number of customers while remaining cheerful and professional meeting everybody's needs. A refreshing experience.

Worst service I think I have ever experienced. No service at all, no greeting, 4 staff members walked past whilst I looked at them to serve me and nothing... I went back another day thinking that it may have just been a bad day but the same thing again on a different day. I took my money to harvey Norman where good service exists!
