Unfortunately the only store like this in south Tassie. But he forewarned this place sucks you're better off buying online and just getting the parts shipped.

Bad customer service, great prices

Brought everything from here for a new build. Put it all together and it didn't work. Rang the company and they said take it in to get the parts checked. Got in there and the guy was rather rude. Pull the motherboard and CPU out to test, left the power supply hanging, said there was nothing wrong, didn't want to put it back the way it was when it got there. Refused to plug it in to test on his screen to see what we were seeing. Said that would cost the same amount as it would for him to build it! When we got home the were cords not connected and screws not screwed back in! Had to pay someone to come check it and they now think MSY damaged it when looking at it today. Called customer service and asked for a managed. Waited 4 hours with no call back. Now they are arguing with my partner refusing to let him to speak to a manager! DO NOT SHOP HERE! THEY ARE USELESS!

If you have computer problems, any issues Just go, MSY Save your time and money 💰

Omg went to this business being a total noob and got taken advantage of by their staff. Firstly they didn't have the product I wanted so they recommended a different one. I took the product home and removed it from box. Product had secondary plastic casing which was still intact. When I got home I searched for a review of this product and it was rated very poorly. Decided to take it back as I had only purchased it 30 mins beforehand and exchange for a much dearer product. Only to find they wouldn't do it as the external box had been opened. Now this box was in perfect condition only a sticker the size of a 5c piece removed. After multiple phone calls to managers they finally accepted to give me a refund minus 20% restocking fee. This place may be cheap but do your homework first as these guys prey on people who don't know anything about computers. Only reason i got a refund was because I said you better call the cops then, cause I'm not leaving without my refund

Handy place to grab pc parts, online purchasing then collect when ready, nice folks in at MSY, not really a place to drop in and buy so make sure to get into their website.

Do not buy parts online for click and collect in Glenorchy they do not have the stock. And they will not give you a refund straight away had to wait over a month to get refund. Customer service and comunication terrible I got hung up on !

Cheers for the help today. New motherboard works perfectly after replacing components. Quoted $1400 elsewhere and MSY charged me $110 for the parts I needed. Huge thanks.

These people are scammers so they don't care about helping returning when there is nothing wrong with them and I ended up not needing the over priced item.... Look on the bright side if U want to scam people they r the right people Now this company has something in common with Logan Paul.... Scamming people

A very good PC parts store. They have a good website with accurate stock levels so you can make sure it's in stock before visiting. Prices are also very competitive.

Great deals and prices for my new gaming pc. even online bought laptop ram instead of desktop and they happily refunded me and i was able to buy some new ram.

In 2016 I had a custom build done for a powerful gaming machine at Umart on the Gold Coast. The machine has performed flawlessly and I was very happy with service. It’s now August 2023 and time to put in a new gaming PC to run Microsoft Flight Simulator. I went for a top of the line AMD solution with AIO water cooling and had MSY (a Division of Umart) supply all the components and do a custom build. Rachael and Gabriel , and the team at Glenorchy , were very responsive, friendly and professional and replied promptly to my many emails. It was a big investment for me so I was cautious and had some concerns but pleased to say that they did a great job and I’m extremely pleased with the result. I have no hesitation in recommending them .

Great service! don't go to harvey norman for you PC needs, go see the guys at MSY, Professional, Friendly, Knowledgeable and will help you out with no nonsense parts, don't over charge and wont ever suggest something you DON'T need. i wanted a whole new system but didn't want to spend a small morgage on it, they helped me out and i walked out with just under $1000 worth of parts that run like a dream! Shop local!

Asked if I could return an item if it doesn't fit, the worker said no then went on about a boxing fee etc. Twice I've been here and twice they haven't been very helpful when asking questions especially when they don't have most of the items you need on display, it's all behind the counter. Pretty dodgy practice and I won't shop from here again.

Yeah they really sold me the wrong part then refused to take it back because I opened the box. Principal have gone far and beyond to help me since and I'm pretty sure they'll price match. So stay away.

Good service. Welcoming staff, but they just don't have any stock levels which is disappointing.

Ordered a CPU online, then went in store to pay on collection, they refused cash as legal tender (understandable with Covid), wouldnt allow a bank deposit and then had the audacity to charge a 1% surcharge on the credit card they forced me into using, would give 0 stars if I could.

Not very happy with the customer service at MSY, Went in store asking about a Ryzen CPU and the man rudely said they haven't been in stock for ages. Website isn't up to date on stock one bit. Small store.

Sells great tech gear cheaper than anywhere else. If you need any computer or phone components and accessories then this is the best place in Hobart.
