I had a last minute change of venue to Magpie Sports Club for our 10th Birthday Presentation Night and Bronwyn and her staff saved our night! The service was incredible and food catering by Tony was AMAZING! If you want an event, this is the place! Thank you for making our night so special

Still a great place for a drink and catch up with a friendly manager , noticed that the bar staff are getting younger on every annual visit . Menu at the Bistro has not altered in 10 years , but , still has appeal for the masses .

Great parmigiana, massive portion and yummy sides. We got to our table last night which the female worker told us to go to, we were sitting there and someone told us to move and that it was their booking. Staff need to have better communication with each other and to consumers. The “bbq” grilled calamari was not good. Nothing bbq about it at all. Big portion but tasted like frozen rubbery fish. Unfortunate as the other dishes here that we have tried are lovely. Good selection of drinks too. Poker room is clean also. But people don’t respond to the drinks buzzer when pressed.

I liked the place, fits well for the occasion we attended to. For my daughter's baby shower!!

Had lunch here today wonderful, the burger was to die for, my partner had calamari ring so succulent we're plenty of chips and salad nice little location away from the Hustle and bustle, 5 Stars 🌟

Great place great food

This club was so dingy and old and the air-con was loud and noisy, rattling in the ceiling you couldn't relax, I definitely wouldn't recommend this place.

Spacious, loads of TV's and has a pool table to. Very clean club and the food was decent.

Great Food and atmosphere.

The portions here are big. My partner and I got a combination meal and a pizza. This turned out to be a lot more food than we bargained for. It is fairly standard pub food, however I felt the pasta was lacking some flavour. All in all a solid meal

As far as Sport Pub it's really nice and clean.

Food tastes like ash, massive dining area yet it still feels rediculously cramped because of high amountd of 20+ people groups, annoying staff and disturbung decor. I dread everytime I have to visit this establishment

They didn’t get my order the first time and made me wait for 40 minutes and then another 20 to cook my food. My spaghetti tasted like frozen mince and the pasta didn’t seem completely cooked. I didn’t get a free dessert for the hassle. Bathroom was bad and appalling

Quality of food served in the restaurant has declined markedly. Food served was burnt. Prices have gone up, quality has gone down.

We hired the small function room for my son's 21st Birthday. The food/service/place was Amazing. Thank You for making this event such an easy process and a great place to Celebrate. Highly recommend this function room and food for any occassion.

We enjoy visiting Magpies and enjoy the food from the restaurant. The food and drinks are reasonably priced. The food is honest and enough to fill a bit appetite. The staff are top class friendly and polite and the service is always prompt even during there busiest times. Hats off to all. Always had a great night here. With being a member.

Fantastic food, can not go wrong with any dish you pick. Highly recommend. Have been taking the family there for years. Great selection of dishes to choose from at decent prices.

Great little club with themed events like trivia nights disco for kids etc.

Good club Staff are horrible at controlling children in the sports bar, children at bar, children selling raffle tickets (children involved in gambling), kids running riot through the 15 Y/O and over area. Club is nice, children running around, staff don’t care, parents don’t care. Terrible in that matter

Average food and expensive. I've ordered a caesar salad with anchovies, is an extra, I didn't even see one piece of it. The pizza was okay

Come regularly with friends for Wednesday night buzz trivia. Atmosphere and trivia is always a laugh! Drinks service is great. The food service is slow, and there are little to no gluten free options on the menu. The food staff also seem too busy and inattentive to take the time to ensure no cross contamination either. Overall, not coeliac/gluten intolerant friendly.

Love this place. Excellent food and service. Can't think of a better place for a relaxing night out with the family. Would give 6 stars if I could.

The seafood risotto is a very tasty dish, but annoying that they won't honour the Club's membership card
