These guys are very knowledgeable and they've got a HUGE range of electrical parts, batteries, tools etc. Probably the best Jaycar store I've visited.

Drove past this place on the 30/5/21 it was Click and collect only had the company phone with me no data on this phone I asked the assistant if they had an digital antenna booster he walked down the back of the store yes we have some I asked if I could have one he said you have to click and collect that., Meaning a drive all the way back home get on the computer to Click and collect thanks for nothing I thought in this day & age you would have really taken the sale ,even with mask and gloves on the young boy said sorry Click & collect only stick it Jaycar hallam.

Highly recommend this fridge for everyday use, had it for a year and the cans, bottles of water stay cold all day while driving a truck.

Absolutely appalling, avoid at all costs! I was here yesterday and there was four staff on duty but absolutely no service. They were too busy, crowded together, laughing and playing on their phones. It took 20 minutes before one of the staff dragged himself away from their mother’s club meeting and even acknowledged me by asking if I needed help. I just laughed. I was looking at their most expensive 3D printer because I wanted to upgrade from my current one, but I’d be damned if I’d waste my money at this pitiful store, not mention their lazy and useless staff. I’ll take my money elsewhere thanks. P.S. Added to that are the ridiculous prices they charge on almost everything, things are marked up 300% or more. Something confirmed by a friend who used to work for Jaycar. So I recommend eBay, you’ll save heaps and eBay Sellers actually provide decent customer service.

Recently purchased HDMI cable and sales person was so helpful, but converter not sold, if done will be great for customers, also at check-out always greeted with a warm smile, this is called excellent customer service. Keep up the good work :))

They’d 2 guys seem to know there stuff but it Doesn’t hurt to be more friendly And smile when you ask him a question about something it’s like they expect you to know just snap out of it and cheer up It was like someone just died

My synth from the 80’s had died and needed some capacitors which I brought in and James was able to show me which ones to use, now my synth is working again! Awesome help and knowledge from friendly staff.

Went into jaycar hallam today with a problem with my brassmonkey fridge service outstanding the fella that served me very helpful with no questions or problems replaced the unit very happy with the service that I received and recommended that you contact them or go there

field really help me to find the adapter for my camera. I thought I need an adapter but it was not it was a cable is not suit the camera. Field explained to me very well and help me to set up the function of the camera as well. Very helpful cheers!

I dropped by this morning soon as the door opened 830am for a replacement RCA cable adapter. I wasn't too sure on the size I was after, The staff that served me was super friendly, went above and beyond to identify my needs. Top effort Jaycar Hallam team. That's some great service. Keep it up.

Used to be a good shop, its going down hill at the moment, staff was unhelpful and looks smugg not interested with helping. Whats happening here? Regular customer for years here.

Jaycar is an excellent electronic store providing a high number of items, electronic kits and components to satisfy all walk of life. Since I was a kid I shopped at then the first Jaycar store in Springvale around the end of the 70s. I am into my 60 now and still love to build kits and solar projects. My store is in Hallam, and the staff there have been very supportive and helpful with just about anything or any problems. Prices are reasonable and quality of service is always great. Highly recommended.

Good source of electronic components and audio visual components. They also offer a selection of security options amoung other things. Helpful and knowledgable staff with the products they sell.

The bad reviews are from people buying from a tech hobby shop with no tech experience whatsoever. These guys are legends. Don't waste their time asking what a AA battery is. If you need gear for electronics, robotics etc, Jaycar is the place.

There covid policy left me waiting for 45 minutes to buy a $ 1.50 fuse which click and collect didn't work, I asked the attended If I could pay wave and he rejected. So i had to leave without the fuse, what an absolute waste of my time, policy gone mad. Really disapointing Jaycar.

I took 2 big green batteries into the store and ask the young man if he sold those. He pointed at some blue ones. I asked are you sure they are the same? He said yes. My batteries were for vaping. The ones he told me were the same, could have made my vape explode in my hand. The man at the vape store told me I was lucky it hadn't exploded yet. Worst customer service.

Great service although POS system was not great, staff are knowledgeable enough to help although I had to tell them it was the wrong thing. Be careful on what you buy. DOUBLE CHECK FIRST!

The service I've received from the staff at this store every time I've been there is consistently of a high standard. The staff bend over backwards and enthusiastically do their best to help out every time.
