Us boomers where having a terrible time trying to work how to print photos off our phone. Boomer issue not Officeworks fault. The young man who assisted us was incredibly helpful and patient. I think his name was Zac and he was brilliant. At no point did he make us feel stupid, he was just lovely and extremely helpful.

Went there and was down the back Getting some photos went to the counter to ask for some help and woman there who had short hair and maybe glasses was really rude and sarcastic to me, I was polite when asking I don’t think you should be treating a customer this way, I don’t care if it the holiday season and that will be her excuse

Waited days for a click and collect. Couldn’t retrieve it from the back for me when I arrived, even though it’s in stock. Pretty poor system.

Alex at the print copy and create section is excellent. His knowledge, professionalism and ability to handle customers is great. I went to multiple Officeworks that day as I needed an urgent print and he was Superb. Thanks Alex!

Needed to return a couple of big items that were purchased online as a gift from a family member. They didn’t realise I already had the items and due to personal difficulties, couldn’t provide me with the normal receipt. 3 lovely members of staff at Chirnside patiently worked through this problem with me when I visited their store with the goods, and managed to find a solution. Really appreciative of the service. Thank you!

A big thank you to the staff member Tom (who was on the front store check out on today (Tuesday 12/11/2024). I am type one diabetic and got caught out without my jelly beans while have an hypoglycemic low. I had to stop at this store to get some sugar as I was dangerously low and Tom help me get this sorted before I collapsed and really save me from a trip to the hospital. Thank you Tom, your kindness and help is greatly appreciated. Hope your managers read these review and reward you with the recognition you deserve. I contacted Officeworks Chirnside Park to check with staff on the phone if they could price beat one of the items. I knew they don’t price beat for Amazon or eBay, or online stores, but I wanted to confirm with staff if they could price match with a retailer in Melbourne. The staff member initially indicated that she needed to check with the store, so I asked her to check and provided store details as I had to travel 20 minutes to the store. The RRP for Officeworks was $120; other online/retail Australian stores were selling it for between $49 and $89. The staff member became annoyed by my inquiry and asked me to come in, telling me she could do price matching, which turned out not to be true. I wasted 45 minutes on the return trip plus 45 minutes of discussion and ended up ordering online from the retail store for $49 plus a $5 transit fee, which was what I had originally wanted to price beat. It’s getting harder to price match. Thank goodness we have eBay and Amazon in Australia that provide great prices and quick delivery service. I will visit Officeworks much less often, and I don’t see that they are selling anything for a low price except for occasional printing.

**Rating: ★☆☆☆☆** I have had 2 very disappointing experiences with Officeworks Chirnside Park. In both instances, I placed an online order for expensive electronics which showed as in stock, only to be informed hours later when arriving later at the store that the item was out of stock and that it was a head office incompetence issue and I would need to wait up to 14 days for a refund. This was extremely inconvenient, as I needed the item urgently. To make matters worse, the refund process took 5 days, leaving me without the item or my money for an extended period. I expected better service and will think twice before ordering from here again.

they consistently keep cancelling orders after taking the money and i have to wait days for a refund, super inconvenient when it’s nearly $100 purchases.

Such an awesome place. Always use it for any of my home office needs and when the kids need stuff for school. Staff are terrific. Well done guys, keep up the great work.

Needed printers posted for a Comedy Festival show and even though everything was sized and uploaded correctly the printer kept cropping off the bottom. Fortunately, Nelly in the printing area was incredibly helpful and was able to get my posters reprinted, correctly and right away. Total life saver!

Had to get some specialised printing done. Was served by a young girl named Casey. Excellent service, patient, fantastic at assisting with my request even though it was very busy at the time, she was very attentive towards me. Had excellent communication skills and rectified all issues so that my print order could be processed. Highly recommend this store. The end result was fantastic!👌

If I could give no stars I would!! My mother and I went into this store to get printing done and I have never EVER experienced such horrible customer service. Absolutely disgusting attitude.. treating my mother like an inconvenience. Going as far as huffing and buffing very loudly right in front of us because my mother was wanting more than one thing printed off. I have never seen someone be so rude to a customer!!

I usually visit the copying end of your store. Today. EMILY was so patient with me & absolutely brilliant in helping me get the best of my photos to make look better when printed. She made it so easy to do. On all occasions when I have needed help with photos or copying documents any of the young ladies make it so easy for me. A HUGE THANKYOU TO THEM ALL

Guys who don't rate this store 5 stars are just having a bad day. They are amazing, helpful and actually try to help with returns instead of finding reasons to NOT return. Thanks guys. You provide amazing service

I ended up buying a legion 5i laptop and I had the amazing opportunity to meet Lucus, was a chad, and every one of the staff were wonderful and super nice. 10/10 experience would reccomend and come again. Cheers. -thezapster3000

Printing staff are rude and unhelpful. Drove 1.5 hours from country vic on a quiet Tuesday to get 30 menus printed and told they couldn’t do it and we would have to book it in and come back Friday. No one was waiting and nothing was being printed. We explained how far we travelled, they didn’t care.

I went to get some photo paper as I ran out at home. It is a busy store more so at the end of financial year and when schools are going back after Christmas holidays. I have never had any problems when I need something for a home job that I am doing. Staff are great and polite.

Do not get printing done here. The two girls at the printing counter were awful. They both need to be trained on the system and on customer service. The person Infront of me asked how much longer they would need to wait, then the girl informed him it was self sever before pointing him to a machine and continuing her conversation. I asked for the email so I could print a document, the first girl gave me an email and then just walked off, it turned out to be the wrong email so I wasted time trying to figure out what wasn't working. I also asked for an estimate of how much 2 coloured sheets printed and laminated would cost, she told me something like 90c per page, it ended up costing $10 which is fine but how can the staff be so far off! These girls did not stop their own conversation while helping customers and it felt like they were avoiding us for as long as they could before they had to help us.

DO NOT COME HERE FOR PRINTING. There are several other reviews on this that I should have read before going to the store. 5 days wait to get an A5 print is ridiculous. Got told by the staff that they don’t do in store printing unless it is self serve which only does A4 with plain printer paper. The lady there told me they don’t hire enough people to be able to do more professional printing. Why advertise something that you don’t even do?

Unpleasant and terrible experience. Lazy staff! Was the only one lining up and needed personal documents (birth certificates) laminated. Got told they don’t do it on the spot and I need to book. I was told to leave the documents and come back!?! Leave my very personal documents??? Ridiculous! Apparently these are orders from head office. I enquired at another officeworks and they were happy to do it immediately. Don’t bother going to this store. Staff are no where to be found when you need assistance as well. Incompetent and lazy.

I had a great experience at Office Works Chirnside Park. The staff was helpful, and they had a wide selection of office supplies. The only reason it's not a 5-star review is because the checkout line was a bit long and the car park is tiny

Terrible experience, I have been using officeworks for years to print plans (first time today trying officeworks chirnside). Today I went in and all they pushed was self serve. When I the eventually realised that some of the plans were A2 they then turned around and said they couldn’t print today and I would have to come back another day. I will be going to Bayswater officeworks today knowing that they will get it done.

Purchased a Google pixel 7 phone from Officeworks Chirnside Park 2/11/22, Cutting a long story short.. The phones battery goes flat within an 8 hour period, For a $1000 phone that isn't good enough. I Return to the store on 2/1/23, explained the situation.. Their response: Sorry you're outside of the 30 day return policy so you'll have to go fend for yourself with the manufacturer, Gees, Thanks Officeworks, Thanks Google 🙏 ,👎

I required about 900 pages of records to be scanned but the job was a little complicated due to the different formats in the records. The staff at Printing were very helpful and had the job done in quick-time. My compliments to them all, including Erin.

Ordered printing online - free delivery 5-10 day turn around It’s been way too long maybe 30 days so I ring up twice, have now turned to click and collect, told I would be called in two days….. nothing…… I wanted the pamphlets for Black Friday….. it’s now past, was told I could have a refund….. not the point I want compensation for my time, effort, lost sales and more importantly I actually still want the product that I have paid for…… Can someone please make contact

Good service but they put the staples into my document backwards

Went to get a print done, waited ages in line staff members didn’t even want to be there. Tried to print off in 3 different formats and all of them came out horrible. Went to a family members house and printed out perfectly on a $50 printer. I’ll be going there from now on for my printing needs. Better off buying a printer from here then getting service done

The self-serve printing sucks. The photo printing area need instructions showing that multiple ppl can print at once. Only 2 of the 6 PC's were working. And the staff are rude.

Made a click and collect order, arrived at store and waited for a little while in the designated waiting area. A staff member approached me and went out the back to grab my items, I told him that I would be looking at some accessories for the product I bought. Then, after 15 minutes or so, he never came over to me to say my order was ready take home. Realised that he just put it at the front desk. I then wanted a bit of assistance choosing the right cable for my monitor and another staff member was clearly reluctant to help out. He was very abrupt and not very personable. I understand it was a busy day and I do realise it can get stressful. In fact, it seems that they were clearly very understaffed so shame on Officeworks for not putting enough employees on. I’ll be shopping at JB for electrical goods from now on. Would have given 1 star but gave 2 because of the click and collect system. Was able to purchase online and collect all within the same 2hr window.

Absolutely amazing staff, was helped with finding the receipt on file and so much more. Thank you to Lucas and other staff who helped as we left feeling anxiety free!

We are being asked to support local retail to support local jobs. I have visited the store 3 times since March to buy ink and each time the shelves have been empty and each time I have had to purchase online. Not good enough and a waste of my time.

I will Never be going to Chirnside park Office Works again. There is this one young girl in printing and photo copying she’s honestly useless, she took one look my tafe booklet and said wow this is gonna be expensive and take a while I’ll have to book you in, mind you a class mate had just been there earlier that morning for the exact same booklet. She was extremely rude to me said it would cost me $27-$37 and that she would have to book me in. I decided to leave as she was not pleasant what so ever, I went to Bayswater north office works and a lovely young girl served me in less than 5 mins, she even bonded the booklet for me and it cost me just $15 for the whole thing.

The girl working there gave me every excuse under the sun not to photo copy paper work for me. I've come here a few times and it's never been an issue until today.

Wanted to get custom size of photos. I spend 90 minutes at box hill office works and they messed up the size. I went to Office works at Chirnside park then.A young girl named Sam helped me with custom sizing of my pictures. She sized in 20 minutes, and I received the message in 2 hours to pick up my printout. It was printed and cut out in the right size. Thanks..

The ladies behind the counter at copying station are so rude. Had them copy and bind me some books which I made sure were in the correct order after waiting agggessss, but they have bound them with the last page first, the pages are even numbered! Will never go back there again, I'm not going to name and shame but the manager really needs to five a fair few of them a warning or replace them.

Excellent service from a very knowledgeable staff member by the name of Matthew. We were looking to get a monitor for our sons pc and had been to a number of different stores. Matthew was passing us whilst dealing with somebody else at the time but did come back to us to help find us the most suitable product. He was courteous, polite, professional and so knowledgeable with regards IT and technologies. He spent the time to explain things to us and we were extremely happy with the service he provided to us in the Chirnside Park Store. He is definitely an asset to Officeworks and we will definitely be back should I be in the market for anything else IT or technology based. Matthew, thank you for all your help and assistance yesterday. I hope you are appreciated in the workplace. We are so happy with the service you provided us and the monitor we purchased. Well done

One star is the lowest you can go. This store has the worst management and customer service experience of all the stores in the eastern suburbs. I highly recommend going to other stores and avoiding this store completely. The knowledge and effort from the staff has been nothing but dismal. Many times, I have seen such disrespectful behaviour towards customers by staff menbers which is an absolute dsgrace.

Horrible service with very incompetent staff. Ordered chairs for kids christmas present that took a while to come in from interstate just in time for christmas. Parts were missing to build them so had to order another set in. Was told they would just make it in time. 4 weeks later and phone calls + going in twice! After no contact from them. We were constantly told no they arent in and wont be for a while. Third time went in for some stationairy only to be told its been sitting in the back and to hurry up and collect it as its getting damaged in the back...Please educate your staff. Very unprofessional with a not my problem attitude.

Very poor customer service, there are people standing and chatting but won't come over to help customer. Radioing another person and another person saying they don't have time to attend. Disappointed.

Worst customer service. The girl at the front was nice and friendly. But we were ignored by about 6 workers who happily walked past when it was obvious we were struggling with something. And another guy who just happened to ignore us for ages until finally helping. 15 minutes we were looking online and searching for what we needed until we got help. What a complete waste of time. Won’t be coming back to this store.

Two stars purely because at least half of my order arrived. The other half wasn't even included and apparently the store I ordered from can do nothing about it, which seems utterly ridiculous. I'd suggest either go in person or shop somewhere else.

I know it's not a fun job checking everyone's check-in and vaccination status - but if the door person starts off as combative, it's not going to end well. How about asking nicely, and maybe even smiling - start off on the right foot before just assuming everyone is going to fight you.

I placed a click and collect order on 4/6/21. On 9/6/21 I received and invoice. I still have not received an email advising me when I can pick up my order. I tried telephoning but no one answers the phone. I am disgusted with this lack of service.
