The people who work here are so lovely and nothing is ever a problem with the staff.

Buffet, plenty of food but quality was a bit plain.

Didn't think the food was to the standard it should have been considering the cost. Table wasn't cleared of plates so we had to pile them up on an empty table so we had room for dessert bowels

Would have been better if they could extend their buffet times

We decided on this restaurant for a catch up with family. Having 3 kids we like to pick places that they can also enjoy. They loved the playground and also loved they could pick their own food they liked. We found the food yummy and fresh and was constantly being refreshed and new stuff put out. Would definitely come back.

The best place for a great meal and keep the kids happy with colouring at the tables and then the big indoor playground and vending machines. So glad we found it!

Good variety of food and desserts. The chef was especially great, very friendly and so helpful showing me all the vegetarian options

I've eaten at many all you can places and even managed one many years ago. Castello's certainly impressed. Beyond the delicious food were enthusiastic and lovely staff members. We went on a quiet Wednesday night and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Will absolutely be returning.

Can be hit and miss sometimes

Very expensive for what you get…. Could go a normal pub n have steak n work out cheaper. Positive the dessert Bar n Staff were very friendly n very helpful No need to book as wasn’t very busy n no seniors meals on Friday-Sunday dinner which I’m sure in the fine print

Very bad experience! We celebrated my husband 40th and were around 22 people in total. But the staff was very rude for assistance. M giving 2 stars for the lady at reception and at the bar tonight were very nice. However, other 2 staff that we dealt with, were very rude. When asked to clear the dishes from the table to cut the cake, they were upset about it and still left glasses. When we asked again, the Stewart named Zavier said they have other things to do and you have wenough space to eat. Whereas the reception lady heard it without saying a word cleared it all. When we went to get the cakes from fridge Kaitlyn just ignored me. Very incorporative staff. There were only 5-6 tables occupied and still staff was being rude. Better go to Lynbrook buffet, they keep clearing your table in between with a smile on thier faces. Bad service. Food and atmosphere was good but zavier and Kaitlyn ruined our evening. Would not recommend for special events at all.

Great place for kids parties, a lot to choose from. All you can eat around $42. Good selection of beer on tap even Canadian club. Awesome desert bar.More at my youtube channel @chilishot5760

Everything you can do expect from a buffet and great fun for the kids.

We had Christmas lunch here this year. It was fantastic for our family. We travelled from all corners and there was enough prawns and meats to satisfy the whole family. Dessert was beautiful with a huge amount of smaller choices to try. Santa came around to visit with the smaller children and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I'd definitely go back next year.👍

the food here was pretty remarkable, but when i was here this kid said his name was kade after i confronted him, he went past me and my families table and “accidentally” spilled his food on me. he walked off without an apology. apparently his last name is dearricott, kade dearricott, very disrespectful boy his parents should teach him respect.

Wow, an awesome buffet. Was a bit reluctant but the food was fresh, variety awesome and the food delish.

My family and I visited on Sunday for a relaxing lunch, and we truly enjoyed the experience. The food was fantastic, and although some dishes weren't very warm initially, they gradually heated up and were still delicious. The staff was exceptionally helpful and kind, making the meal all the more pleasant. However, I was deeply concerned when my attention was drawn to a female staff member who was escorted to the back by a management figure in a blue shirt, and later came out crying. We noticed a male staff member checking on her, which raised concerns about the situation. While we understand that things can happen behind the scenes, it's disheartening to witness such an incident during a visit. Despite this, I would still gladly return due to the excellent food and service, but I do feel compelled to express my disappointment in what occurred. To the man in the blue shirt who made that staff member cry, shame on you

All the food was amazing and the staff were all friendly and warm. The atmosphere was great as well. I highly recommend that you go here.

We went out as a small group of 12, 5 being kids under the age of 9. The venue was neat, tidy, and inviting. The food was excellent with no complaints from anyone. The service was exceptional and the team members were all welcoming, efficient, and professional. Well worth the time for an easy night out. Highly recommend to families.

The place looks great. Staff are very friendly. The quality of some of the food is bad. The noodles is very salty, the prawns are overcooked, the mussels are too dry. There’s not a lot of options. They also need to check their cutlery because they’re dirty! Considering the price is pretty much similar to Lynbrook Hotel, I’d rather just drive the extra kilometres than come back here.

Fantastic place to have family catch ups and celebrations. If you have little ones who would love the playroom, book early to get a table near the room

It's your standard buffet fare. Great for those who still love that style of eatery as it is a dying breed. From my experience it's a perfectly acceptable place to visit if this tickles your fancy. I have never had a bad experience, but I have never had a stellar one either. I'd probably put on par with most of the local fast food places where you can trust it and it is great when it is what you are wanting, but that is the extent of it. Worth trying if you are in the mood

Quite an extensive buffet for both savouries and desserts. Staff are efficient clearing away dirty plates and keeping the buffet area looking today.

Recently had my Mums 70th lunch. Staff were exceptional. Very welcoming and friendly. Even shouted my Mum a drink 🍸 Food was fantastic.

Food was below par no flavour, seasoning anything every single food item was old stale and unchanged looks like it was out for hours rude (Karen) bartender overpriced underwhelming and very sad looking environment and dead vibe wouldn't recommend at all may as well go McDonalds that somehow has better quality food than this buffet maybe in the future the food and in general everything else can improve 😇

Love this pub .... but unfortunately they have recently employed the rudest human I have ever dealt with ... I appologise on behalf of castellos for everyone that has to deal with this lady... very rude and un- welcoming, she should not not have anything to do with customer service

We went on Wednesday for Japanese food night. The sashimi is fresh. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Just this restaurant is too far . It took me nearly 1 hour to arrive.

Staff were exceptional. However food was below average, we tasted most of the food served and was quite disappointed and definitely didn’t want to go back for seconds. We then tried desserts and that was even worse!!!

The place is a bit different from other all u can eat love the interior design makes is feel cozy and kids friendly, the food is great , not a hype wide range of food but few different meals and delicious desserts for a family , if u are looking for a place that’s less crowded then this is it , Sunday night was best for me , if u got a lot of kids it best u seat near the kidz play ground enjoy yr meal whilst watching over them

We just had 17 people attend to celebrate a 90th Birthday so ages of attendees ranged from 1 to 90. Everyone found lovely food to their choice and plenty of it plus the playground was great. Staff were very attentive to our needs and with a large group we were placed in an area that made us feel we were the only ones there except for when we were selecting our food. We all enjoyed ourselves and the food and atmosphere was great so if you can satisfy 5 generations at the same time you must be doing a great job!

Great team. Great service yummy food and heaps of it. For $41 you definitely will eat that much by the time you leave.

I feel awful taking a star away for atmosphere, because it’s not the fault of anyone other than customers. Tuesday, kids eat for free. It’s such an amazing initiative and makes it more affordable. HOWEVER! Some people don’t seem to care what their kids are up to and being a buffet means they touch food or bite food and put it back! Otherwise I absolutely love everything about it! We have had my daughters past two birthdays there. Have invited people to dine with us and they have always wanted to go back! The membership benefits, the draws, everything is such a wonderful venue and experience. For a buffet, I absolutely love the food! Not common with most buffets I’ve tried. They also always send questionnaires out, if you’ve booked online and they take EVERYTHING into consideration when you give feedback. I don’t know how else I can say how much I love this place

$41! Dollars for the worst food I have ever eaten, food was just cheap frozen food heated up and left me feeling so ill could not even eat a single plate of food. Much rather of gone to a pub and spent that on a good meal…. Waste OF MONEY !

Pretty average selection and the quality wasn't great for the price, either. There were a couple of highlights, the calamari wasn't bad and the strawberry mousse was good too, but I won't be returning.

Absolutely fantastic place to eat. There was 19 of us including children and we had the best time. Staff are kind and friendly , food was amazing and the playground was good aswell.

Not much selection compared to a similar buffet Id been but I like the seafood and food for the kids. Place is clean and friendly staff.

Always a great feed. Very lovely staff who couldn't do enough for you. Food is fresh & yummy! Good variety. Great play room for kids that are mobile.. remember to take coins though as there is coin game machines/claw machines. The claw machine power points/power packs need to be secured more safely & well out of reach. Many tears as other children were switching the machines off after coins had been put in. Management were notified of this & said they were aware.

Awesome place. Just that they have very less vegetarian and chicken options. Mostly its beef or pork in special dishes.

Tried the calamari absolutely tasteless then tried stroganoff meat as tough as boots so tried another beef dish same again tough as boots could not eat. Paying $41.50 a head you would expect a better quality of food won’t go back or recommend as it was a waste of money

The food was room temperature or cold , chicken buffalo was so dry it was inedible, the roast beef dry , cold , over cooked . Pasta all of them was so over cooked it was mush . I’m allergic to fish we let them know in advance they told us there was no fish on the menu , picked up a spring roll but this was a special spring roll it was made with barramundi !!! That goddess for my epiPen now I need to buy another at $300 thanks for that . How the sticky date pudding tasted like lemon is beyond us all , the apple crumble was so try it was all topping and no apple . I could go on and on about how bad this food was it’s incredible they are still open and in business. This family will definitely not recommend nor go back $400 in food , $159 in drinks I couldn’t even have a vodka as they had no vodka and no juice of any kind , $300 in saving my life !!!! Do better guys this is so far below standards I’ve see nursing homes serve better food

It's been a few years since I've been here. Just came tonight on a Sunday night for a 6pm booking very quiet majority of the food was below room temperature the baked fish for example was already dry the lasagna was honestly the only dish that was hot. I notice a few plates that were chipped and dirty knives and forks well the ones we grabbed. When the food isn't hot it's hard wanting more and it makes the experience not enjoyable. But I couldn't fault the deserts they all seem quite fresh and very well displayed

Found the food pretty average. Had prawns and crab for starters. Love prawns anyway. Had a mix plate for main. Found most a bit bland. The BBQ chicken wings were pretty good. Overall pretty average venue. Staff were efficient and approachable. Will give it 6 out of 10.

Horrible customer service, food is average

3rd time back here and gees food quality has dropped completely. Read latest reviews and i should have listened as this food was bland and fried rice looked like brown stew. What a waste of money.

I’ve been coming here for years but I’ve never felt the food has been good enough to give a five star review until last Wednesday when I dined for the Japanese themed buffet , all I can say is outstanding, the sushi and sashimi alone was outstanding but also the Japanese themed hot items were so perfectly cooked and tasted amazing, so good I’m coming again tonight , keep up the good work regards Geoff

Nice place for buffet dinner

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The last couple of times we have been the food has been disgusting, bland and barely warm. After speaking with the useless, rude, and unhelpful manager Andrew who I will say has terrible customer service skills I won't ever return. No resolution, no compensation, nothing. Not even willing to hear customer's out just point blank awful! I suggest to anyone looking to eat here run far away you are just wasting your money on disgusting tasteless slops. Plenty of other nice places to eat out at. Don't waste your time or money here. The food quality is extremely poor along with the customer service. We wont ever return and I will be sure to tell all our family and friends about our last experience here and I know they will loose alot of their regular customers now after our last experience all thanks to Andrew!

The staff were good but the food was horrible there was just a lack of flavour in most dishes there is also not a lot of variety. The desserts were Just dry cakes that have been there for quite a while. The good this you have no time limit and interior is beautiful. It is just not worth it rather try lynbrook hotel is just more value and the food is all good and fresh.
