No one to get advise on iPhones waited 40 min for some one only to be told no one free, yet shop employees walking around doing nothing but talking to mates. A LOST SALE

Got passport photos taken and printed that were rejected by the Post Office for a silly reason. Went back to get them re-taken and Stefani went above and beyond spending a great deal of time to ensure the photos were of high quality so I wouldn’t get rejected again. Fantastic customer service!

Used the public restroom and got stuck in it, no one could hear my screams. Great store though! Lovely staff, helped me get everything I need! Good range of tictacs too.

Good luck getting in contact with the store for general inquiries as their system will just automatically direct you to their website. Tried getting a hold of their printing area to talk to someone but no response. If you can't even allow phone calls for general stuff like item availability maybe hire more staff instead of automating everything and making it more difficult for customers.

Customer service is not a thing here...

I went to this Officeworks and there are lot of stuff that other outlets don't have. Big one and i always got what i wanted.

I received exceptional assistance from Em at officeworks Pakenham’s on Friday 17th January 2025. I was frustrated with a label machine issue that I was unable to resolve myself. Em took on the challenge to figure out which machine I needed. En researched online, borrowed the printing sections labeller and checked its printout. Still not the right one I was searching for. Em did further research online. Checked other brands, made an educated guess and then checked that brand printing style in shop. And voilà we finally had the right machine with everything I was looking for. I would never have resolved this issue by myself as I lack the expertise in this area. Em made me extremely grateful and happy to be an Officework customer. I’ve been coming to The Pakenham Officeworks since 2017. I’ve always been happy with the customer service, but this service from Em was outstanding and needs to be acknowledged. I spoke with Em’s boss Marco who was in agreement. Marco mentioned that Em has superior technological knowledge and skills. I have requested that Em be acknowledged and rewarded for her excellent customer service to me. With her attitude and level of curiosity and her willingness to go above and beyond for her customers, this young lady’s career path is bright. Thank you so much Em and I wish you all the best. D

Nice place to shop

I shop here frequently and have always received great customer service. I once witnessed a staff member be verbally abused by a customer and the staff member (as well as their manager) handled it extremely professionally. Tonight I visited the store with my 19 month old and they unfortunately knocked down a display of insulated bottles. The two managers on shift (one male and one female) were so incredibly nice and understanding and refused my help to clean it up. Wished I had gotten their names but I was too embarrassed to stick around but they made me feel much better about the situation with their incredible customer service.

Expressing my dissatisfaction with the service I received at the print area on 09/09/2024. I arrived 8:45 and waited in line for 10 minutes to print my documents. Despite still having 5 minutes before the official closing time, the staff member on duty refused to assist me and informed me that they could not print my documents because they were closing. What was particularly upsetting was the rude manner in which this message was conveyed. I found the response unprofessional and not in line with the level of customer service I expect from your business. I understand that everyone has a long day at work, but I believe that customer interactions, especially at the end of the day, should be handled with courtesy and respect. I hope you will look into this matter and take the necessary steps to ensure that such incidents do not happen in the future.

Went in to try office chairs, they had plenty of the Stirling in black in stock,but none on the floor.Staff wouldn't open a box for me to try.So I will shop elsewhere.

I am trying to call office works regarding an issue I have with my shredder but apparently they don’t have anybody who can answer the phone and assist me very poor service not everyone is computer savvy but now I will have to go out of my way to go in the store and get the help that I need very very poor customer service

I feel like everytime I come to this officeworks the staff are moving at snail speed in the printing section. Last time I came two ladies were talking for ages about their social life before serving people. This time a guy told me to go use the self serve when I was happily waiting lining up and then the self serve couldn't print A5 and I had to wait in line again behind other people. I also got charged for something that wouldn't print. Very frustrating experience coming to this officeworks they need to work on their customer service.

Poor customer management. Understaffed for peak hours. Had to wait for 25mins and leave without getting passport photos.

Unprofessional stuff and so rude

We took our time to choose,edit and print our photos. We didn't get any help because we didn't ask for but as soon as the paper finished on the self serve, one guy came along and changed it. All in a good time manner. No problems

The staffs here were so unfriendly when we asked for help. They just like you had to find it or do it. Really disappointed. How these people can work here?

I'm sorry to say, but the customer service experience here today was quite disappointing. The staff displayed a strange attitude and seemed unwilling to assist. Despite requesting help to get an item from the top shelf, they claimed to be too busy and that there would be a wait for someone to come with a ladder. We were left standing in the aisle, uncertain if anyone would ever come to help Ended up standing on a display office chair to reach the item

I had a disappointing experience at here recently. I was interested in purchasing a mobile phone from their store, but unfortunately, the staff's lack of customer friendliness made the process frustrating. Firstly, I found a phone I liked that wasn't in stock, but was on display. When I chose an alternative, I asked the cashier for assistance with a protection cover. Instead of helping or directing me to the right department, she simply stated that it wasn't her responsibility. Furthermore, when I returned to finalize my purchase, the staff didn't handle my case properly. The first staff member I interacted with didn't effectively communicate my needs to the second staff member, leading to confusion and inconvenience. It's disappointing when a store fails to provide basic customer service. Customers shouldn't have to hunt down the right person to assist them; it's the responsibility of the staff to ensure a smooth and pleasant shopping experience. Due to this poor experience, I won't be returning to here in the future.

not the first time but on numerous occasions they had me waiting. today i waited ONE WHOLE HOUR to get one printing done. no staff assistance despite being recognised first in the line. appreciate the man behind the counter, Ayesh. however there were at least four other staff who purposely ignored my presence whilst at the self serve who weren’t actively attending to their other duties.

Took a Google pixel phone in to be repaired as it kept turning itself off. The phone was within a week of the warranty expiring. Officeworks sent it off, it was then returned by repairer as they got it after warranty was expired. No communication from Officeworks through this whole process. We have had to ring weekly to find out updates. We were given direct number to repairer who now after 5 weeks don't even have the phone. Another phone call to Officeworks and are awaiting a resolution. This is the second phone we have purchased from them.

What? OfficeWorks Pakenham employees are not getting paid? I went there 3 times to get my documents scanned. They had same answer it is time consuming do by your self. I went there at 5:45 on 12/04/2024 to get my passport scanned. The lady said she can’t do it as it time consuming. I was like what? I am going to pay for this. And they are here to get our jobs done. Another day I had to get the photos printed same answer do by yourself. Great👎🏻 thank you guys. Keep it up

This shop has always been amazing for me, especially today. At the printer sector, Stephanie helped me soooo much. I had to colour print and scanned back emails of serious & important documents to Hungary in Europe. It was in relation to my mum's sudden death... and she was so compassionate with me.. She's also smart and calm, took her time serving me, and she made sure that everything was done correctly. Thank you so much for helping me with these very difficult times. I'll never forget this wonderful human being...

Went to store at 7.30PM for printing some photos came out printing 12 photos at 8.50PM. Thanks to less staff. On top of this EFTPOS at the photo printing machine wasnt woeking hence you have to pay at the counter. For that you need to wait in the queue WASTING TIME doing nothing Overall terrible experience not sure its only in Pakenham or all other branches But pathetic customer service for sure :( :( :( :(

Very annoying, passport photo’s still not available, has apparently been broken for months. Sort it out please Officeworks, or take it off the website.

This is a store to avoid if you want to get a printing job done in 24 hours. According to them, they are busier than Narrewarren, Dandenong or any other store in the area so always they need 72 hours all others maximum of 24/hours. Really poor service experience in the printing department. Today the same thing happened and got it done on the spot at Narre Warren.

Had a lovely lady karlyn help me find a folder I was looking for, she greeted me with an amazing smile and didn’t stop looking until she found it and sent me on my way. One of the best workers here very appreciated ☺️

The customer service in this store is terrible and disgusting. Today the date 23rd October, time was 8:49 PM. I was just makesure to my purchase as similar with online website listing, and the 3 different girls i was asking and they say they don’t know about this one. Simple if you not sure then ask someone else, that’s your job not mine. And also say well store is going to close in 5 minutes and left me unattended. Never will come again here. shameless

A very frustrating visit here today. I only wanted to copy 6 pages of documents. All I wanted was 5 copies of each page, 30 pages of b/w. I know how to use these photocopiers. It should have taken about 5 minutes at the most. The copier would not start up. I had a prepaid Officeworks card. Scanned it. Nothing happened. The control panel did not light up. I asked for assistance, and a bored and uninterested girl made a couple of half hearted attempts to get this piece of junk working. Still nothing. And then I got to try another machine. Once again it would not work. Eventually I got to use a 3rd machine and it did work, and I printed the 30 pages. All this took almost 30 minutes. Officeworks, please, can you employ a couple of people older than 18 who actually give a damn about helping customers? Next time, I'll be going to the local library to do some printing. It was a very poor example of how to run a business.

Click and collect - facility to let them know you are coming so the order is at the click and collect is really not working. You use the app, send I am on my way" and get there and it still has to be taken from storage to the desk?"

A tremendous amount of gratitude for the exceptional customer service received by Emily tonight. She guided me through self-serve on the photo kiosks and was very, very patient. Emily also engaged with my daughter in a manner that was very kind and appropriate. At one point, my daughter had wondered away and Emily kindly (without being requested) found her and returned her to me safely. You are very, very lucky to have such a fantastic employee working at the facility. 5 stars and definitely will be back. Thank you again!

I ordered a laminated print of some artwork and a frame online for click and collect. My mum had to pop in to Officeworks so I asked if she was able to collect my order for me. They only gave her the print, not the frame, even though I was notified that both were ready for collection. So, I went down later in the evening and picked up the frame and the staff really didn’t seem to care about the mistake at all. When I got home, I unraveled the print and there was fluff and lint stuck inside the laminate. So I drove straight back and showed them the issue, asking if they could reprint it. I waited 15 minutes for it to be reprinted and laminated and was told the same thing had happened again and if I was happy to wait for them to figure out the issue with the laminator. It was later in the evening so I had to go home but will obviously have to visit for the third time to collect the hopefully fluff-free laminated print. The whole reason I ordered click and collect to begin with was for ease and convenience, which this whole experience has been anything but. What a hassle.

Worst customer service ever! Always happy to have young people working but they need to be taught to make customers feel welcomed! Went in today to buy a monitor and a laptop, but the staff were uninterested and we had to call them (they were pretending not to see us) for help, then the staff member acted like we were bothering her and we ended up just getting the monitor! Went to the counter to pay and two other staff members were playing a game still totally uninterested and bothered by us interrupting!

The staff that work there are a absolute disgrace. As soon as you enter the store the staff avoid eye contact with you. They don't offer any assistance or help when you are struggling to find something. When you approach them for assistance they sigh and look upset that you bothered them. They treat customers like they have the plague and don't want to deal with them. The level of customer service here is abysmal at best.

Absolute poor customer service. I was made to feel like the biggest inconvenience of the workers morning by asking her to laminate 12 pieces of paper. She huffed and puffed about it so I ended up walking away and buying a laminator. When I got home I had it all done in 12 minutes. Absolute disgrace of a worker to talk to CUSTOMERS like that. I would understand if they were busy but half of them were talking to each other doing nothing.

Update: do not come here for passport photos, machine is broken and has been for some time. Be nice if they told us on the website!!! Bad service. Biggest officeworks around, has more than you need😄 open till midnight ATM, so great if you want a late night shop, you will be nearly the only one in store, and there's plenty of assistance available! Awesome customer service here!

If anyone is a first time parent with their child starting school Go see Paula! She is such a lovely woman who helped me tremendously. I desperately needed iron on labels and had no clue what I was looking for. She also was very supportive as she knew I was nervous of my little one starting prep. She was amazing. Had to get an office chair, no men around, so a lovely staff member named Bella offered to help, she lifted the chair off the shelf, pushed the trolley for me, served me at the register & put the chair in the car for me. Exceptional service from Bella, she deserves a pay rise

I purchased a tablet bracket .on opening the box and trying to fit it I noticed it was loose .I went in to return it and dealt with Miles a young man that was so helpful he offered to replace it he inspected the bracket and explained it only needs one hidden little screw to be tightend .I'm a business owner and I maintain that Miles to be one of the nices smartest people I have dealt with for some time .I wish him well in his career in office works outstanding customer service in today's day and age A1

Came here to use their public scanner. Very convenient as I didn't have access to my own.

i was the only customer there to get a click and collect order, there were 5 staffs, one of them asked me to wait and went on minding her own business, i don't understand why i was made to wait, and a far away staff was making fun of me instead of serving me. I wouldn't buy from these guys again.

Exceptional service from Matt K at the pakenham store this morning. Knowledgeable, personable and great to deal with. You are lucky to have him.

My secret paradise. Don't ask me why I enjoy stationary as much as I do but I love variety and pretty office items. Has a great range and seems to carry a little bit of everything. Name is pretty self-explanatory and has anything that potentially relates to workplaces, even items that don't necessarily come to mind when you think of an office, such as tea and coffee, first aid items, numbers, storage and so much more. A haven for anyone looking to kit out a business, or to redecorate, or even just to organise. Only negative is some of the brands stocked run a little pricey and many items are better purchased elsewhere, such as Kmart, but other places won't necessarily offer the same range or products. A great example is office chair mats which have only recently been introduced at kmart. Even the cheapest of these at officeworks was close to 100 dollars compared to the 30 at Kmart.

This incident happened quite a few months ago in January. Usually I am happy with Officeworks in Pakenham, the staff are always so friendly and the prices are not so bad. Until mid January when my mother had gone to Officeworks to print out some pictures and posters for a small memorial service that we were having for our dog that had passed away. He was more than just a dog, he was family. I’m pretty sure it was evident what we were doing and my mother had talked to the people at the back that do all the printing and she told them that they had printed out the black-and-white copy instead of the coloured copy of one of the pictures that we wanted. One of the girls at the back said that they would print out another one and my mum wanted to keep the other picture anyway because it’s a picture of our dogs. Instead of being friendly about it or letting her keep the picture, The girl instead was very rude and said that she wasn’t going to give it to my mother and that instead she was going to shred it. I am very appalled and I called that very day because even though my mother had no energy and time to complain, I did. I’m still so upset that someone would act like that, knowing very well what was happening. When I had called later that day to complain, The lady on the phone was very friendly and very apologetic and I appreciated the understanding and was hoping this woman at printing was talked to.

These Guys Rock. I had a real challenge getting some printing sorted for the VIC Caravan and Camping show not realising that the flyers I needed had to go to Sydney for printing and wouldn't be back in time. The Guys at Pakenham had them couriered to the show at no cost to get me out of a bind - awesome! They went well over and beyond to assist. Thanks heaps!

Absolutely low level customer service at photo printing area specially the two chubby ladies. I stood in the queue for photo printing, they sent me over to Kiosk, I went there and required help. So I went from corner and asked a simple question, she says come in queue again. The printing machine was not working :/. Hats off to the young bloke who works at the floor helped me out.The bloke scanned the receipt at printing counter. He asked me to get help from those chubby ladies to collect the photos but once the photos were not even giving me those. I called them from corner again saying my photos are done please handed it over to me but they were seeing me from side eyes and ignoring. Finally I had to call them with bit intense voice and then they gave it to me. Not sure how office works selected them to work for the job. But thank to the young man at the floor.

Just did some cheeky clock and collect. Took 90 mins from time of order for me to have the goods in my hands. Plenty of staff at the front of the store to assist. Hoping to be able to walk on again real soon.
