Had a lovely satisfying meal with my family.

Visited the club for their dining Decent serving sizes & reasonable pricing for food and drinks. Meals were ok tasting. Ok local club

Asked politely if there was somewhere i could safely put my electric bike as I'd forgotten my bike lock...was told that I couldn't put it anywhere then completely walked off and me standing there!! Very disappointing to say the LEAST

The food is good, but I get upset when they try and milk the patrons with poker machines that pay 98% loss , I use to come here all the time, greedy management , no fun , stay away

Came here for the childrens play area which they had no lights for and wouldn’t open. The Chinese food was terrible and ridiculously over priced for the shocking quality. First they got our order wrong and then couldn’t explain why they charged us an additional $2 per dish compared to if you ordered through the app at each table. We were overcharged and when questioned they said it wasn’t their issue. Definitely do not recommend and won’t ever be coming back

The food is some what ok, it’s expensive for bowlo. $23 for boneless honey chicken that’s no we’re near as good as corner takeaway. All there Chinese meals are around that price. I came here years ago and the bistro had great view, I moved back to the area and told my wife we should come here but they moved bistro and kids play area was closed.

It was a nice view from the eatery. Unfortunately it needs some upgrades. The food was not the best. The locals deserve a nice restaurant with more choice and quality meals. Hopefully the Club looks into upgrading the premises and checks the restaurant for safety protocols and food quality.

Fantastic local venue with friendly patrons, great service, and great meals! With the additions over time of the al fresco dining area, beer garden, and revamped lounge it’s a great place to catch up with friends, watch a couple of games, or have a meal. Beer of the month special at the bar and daily lunch specials in the bistro have kept me coming back since I turned 18 (far too many moons ago now). Courtesy bus on Fridays and Saturdays is a huge help, especially when you need to carry home prizes from the meat raffles!

The food & service at the Carlingford Bowling Club has always been excellent.

The Board of this club should be disgusted. They have taken over two smaller bowling clubs and closed them down for their assets. I cannot recommend this club to others.

Not happy about the closure of the Denistone club or Brush Park.

Authentic, tasty pizza, wonderful service and food, friendly staff and great people and atmosphere. Reasonably priced beer. Love our club!!!!

Unfortunately I am a regular to the Denistone Sports Club which was without notice suddenly sold to Ryde Council. Poor members and guests arrived to find Carlo Bowling Club stripping out the place taking the bar stock and poker machines even though it sounds like they assured Ryde Council they would continuing operating until hand over. A demonstration of how not to treat" customers and only after making money from the sale of the property."

Lost count how many times I've been here with the family. Food and staff are amazing and can't say no to a good meat tray

I only go to the club occasional but every time the experience is great. The staff extremely helpful, and the is food delicious. My friends and I enjoy the time very much

I have had 2 experiences at Carlingford Bowling Club. Regional playoffs & Open Pennants. Both times the meals have been tasty, staff and members have been friendly, though I actually have only ever known 1 person at Carlingford, who is no longer employed there. So it be unfair to rate Carlingford. I’ve spent more time visiting Denistone BC & have really enjoyed the atmosphere, the people & the food. Not to mention a few good ales with great friends who belonged to Denistone Bowlo. Sad that it has now been closed.

Very disappointed as Parramatta council sold carlingford bowling club. No club will be at Carlingford, and they still closed Denistone Bowling club. . No care for the community

I have visited “Carlo” once to update my Denistone membership. I have no interest in ever visiting “Carlo”. I look down my street to the now empty bowling greens at Denistone and am very disappointed by the treatment of “Carlo” to our community. No amount of spin and weasel words from “Carlo” can cover up the underhanded tactics that have gone on the past years. Hopefully karma will prevail.

Loving coming here for dinner for yummy Chinese food. Its great that they have opened up the outside area for alfresco dining. A smarter idea would put the food at the back where the pokies is because there is an awesome view overlooking the disctrict which would be more appreciated by diners rather than people playing pokies (who are probably too focused on their game to look out the window, I beleive this would increase business at the premesis. I would probably come more often if that was the case.

Most likely one of the worst run clubs I have membership with, the board and senior management tend to dominate rather than hear the members and do things that go against or try to change the constitution to suit themselves.

As a struggling pensioner the subscription for membership is too taxing now

Good service and helpful staff, and we have a good time there. Plenty of parking spaces, suits social gatherings.

Play poker twice weekly, spend $30-$50 per visit, friendly staff, good food.

Meals are great, old style cub atmosphere near lost. Tho' pokie area gets the view ! Club Needs a rethink on design to take in a slightly upmarket bistro that can take in a view or a separate coffee bar as an option. All about getting families into clubs - kids run rampant, whilst mum n dad spend/ designated play areas can work until someone gets hurt so barefoot bowling and jumping castle days maybe better option. trivia nights an lucky door prizes gets people in discounts always works larger neon sign out front too - advertise with a catchy slogan on whats on offer Thanks

Extremely disappointed with treatment of Denistone by the Board as seen on a Current Affair. Any criticism from Denistone and they closed them up. All those members without a game of bowls. Still haven't seen the minutes of the AGM 2023 and the elected Directors

For each of the things I judge, this place is 4 star but the staff makes this place, I’m giving Carlo Bowlo 5 stars. Nice place for a quiet drink, watch a game or have dinner with the family. They will teach you to play lawn bowls if you book ahead. Great relaxed family atmosphere. If you sick of the noise being so loud that you can’t think, this is the place to come. Good prices and even better after you pay $2.20 to become a member. Good food as well, the flavours are good the vegetables and fresh and the meat is tender. I thought the food was going to be country town rsl style Chinese but it isn’t.

The Chinese restaurant called Carlo-dragon inside the club is great! Great portion size, lots of ingredients and all of which is freshly cooked. Highly recommend!

This place is the above ground pool of Carlingford. Absolutely average food, average service, pretty much completely depressing hole.

Friendly staff, a good range of competitively priced drinks and a half decent Chinese restaurant, which serves decent food. It's not modern but it is good at what it does.

I can't imagine anyone would ever come here unless they had to attend a lawn bowls game or had a pokies addition. Apart from the shiny modern pokies it looks like the place hasn't changed since the 80s
