Very disappointed, after 15 no one came to greet me or ask if I needed any help. I was going to spend a lot of money on my kitchen appliances but the was no one around to sell me anything. Two ladies with orange jackets just ignore me. Business complain about customers buying online, I already got a lot of help from AU business online, better price and free delivery. At least I tried.
The staff were incredibly helpful - I can't thank them enough. They arranged delivery of a refrigerator in just 1 day after I'd had 2 weeks of issues getting a refund for an appliance purchased through the website and being without a refrigerator. I'll definitely be going directly to the store in future.

Do not ever buy online before making sure they have stock unless you want to wait for more than a month. They won’t give you ETA on when the stock will be back once you made a purchase. So good luck 🤞

Went in store to look at security cameras. Didn't find the one I wanted but was going to buy one today just because I need it in the mean time of getting what I wanted. Asked if it was in stock. Guy comes back not really giving a .... Says no don't have any, go try blah blah blah. Go back to car, looking online and low and behold, the Good guys, camera I just asked about buying and says in stock at this store right now. Well you just lost a sale due to your own staff, so just as I was told, I'll go buy it elsewhere and won't bother buying more in the future. Cheers
I recently purchased an LG washing machine, and although I encountered an issue with the product, the manager promptly arranged for an immediate replacement and went above and beyond to ensure it was delivered directly to our property. The staff I spoke to over the phone were kind, helpful, and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Many thanks for the outstanding service! I’m now a loyal customer and have officially switched from Harvey Norman. 😊 10/10 – thrilled with both the machine and the exceptional support!

Now am not one to write reviews but after 3yrs of consistent excellent customer service and unbeatable pricing, I think I owe The Good Guys Moonah a review or two. I’ve bought all my devices from them (TVs, iPhones, iPad, laptop, Washing machine, phone accessories, etc) and I can tell you on good authority that these guys are the best at customer service/support and their prices are second to none. I don’t want to make this long but I jst have to mention the fact that I got a $145 discount on a TV today. In case you don’t already know, am one who shops around and does so extensively. I was astounded when I was offered a TCL 65’’ C655 QLED Google TV 24 for $700 when the least price was $788 on other competitor stores. At a point I was concerned that I was ripping them off. If you can get same TV for less pls let me know, but I think that wld be impossible. Although, I must confess, I am set to set up the TV but trust me, if it’s not good the world would hear about it. The good guys moonah are awesome and am a happy customer, have been for over 3yrs now.
Broken system let me purchase a schedule delivery for TV that wasn't in stock, three weeks later delivery was scheduled again but didn't show up because 'they must have missed it at the warehouse' according to a customer service rep. Finally got it a month after ordering.
Went to the store with money in my pocket to purchase a stove. Waited for 10 -15 mins for a staff member to speak with. None to be found so went to Harvey Norman to spend my $3000.
Never has stock of items (headphones, smart watches, tech)…always “ stock arriving soon”
Absolutely horrible experience, I had multiple delays with my purchase of a television and had to call into store several times before a day for The was given. The day was about 2 months from purchase and the dishonest salesman sold me the tv on the premise that this would be delivered in 2 weeks maximum. Do nit give them your money
Without a doubt, the worst service I have ever witnessed in (Moonah) Hobart. Dishonest and deceptive, no integrity whatsoever. I do not recommend The Good Guys and will never purchase anything from them again. Still waiting for my money back, which they were happy to take for a fridge never supplied.
Almost everything electrical for your home is here but...they're onto you almost as soon as you're through the door and they'll stick with you until they have a sale...that's ok for some but others like to browse at their own pace.
Buy from here if you want your time wasted and money stolen. Bought an air conditioner as we have an extremely hot house with a newborn. They said we could grab our click & collect order to only find out they “can’t find it”. Promising us next day delivery instead to only find out they don’t even have the stock in the warehouse in the first place. I’m currently going through a refund process which is just as much of a pain in the ass. Go to Harvey Norman instead.
Went there to get a washing machine, expecting a good deal for black friday, what a joke! Prices were ridiculous, I had $800 and they couldn't find me an available washing machine nor were they willing to discount further , left without and will go online. Change your name Bad Guys. I'm sure if i had a few grand to drop they would have been more than accommodating.

honestly pathetic. Bought a brand new washing machine from them and within a week the pipe at the back began to leak. Has taken me nearly 3 weeks to try and get this issue sorted as the communication has been piss weak. Would have been better off buying a second hand washing machine from Facebook market place over a brand new machine. Truly sad. Would not recommend the embarrassments they call appliances nor would I recommend this place for its service. They pretty much just snatch your money and run.
Good guys are no good at all I was supposed to get an appliance delivered today and i was told i would be notified about the estimated delivery time no later than the morning of delivery day. Its almost evening and i have received neither a message nor my stuff so i called them just to hear there was some glitch and couldn’t deliver today. I only live 3 mins away from the store and they still have plenty of time if it works that way. Also the sales person said it would be $30 for delivery since i lived near. My bad i didn’t check my receipt on that day and just realised that i have been charged $59 . Never going back again and would definitely not recommend A 100% no no store

The worst place I have ever tried to buy anything! Noone in their store wants to help you, they would prefer to tell you what not to buy. Expected us to wait another 3 weeks for a fridge THEY were sending to the wrong address. We had been waiting 3 weeks already, our fridge had finally died and we were using an eski and all they could say is they don't care, deal with it then hung up! When we rang to cancel it they didn't care and they refused to let us speak to a supervisor and hung up AGAIN!
The two stars are awarded to the lately appointed store manager who solve the problem neatly and satisfactorily. I purchased a Samsung washing machine 2 years ago and it started leaking recently. I called Samsung and I expected to pay for repairs as it is not under warranty. Surprisingly I was told the leaking of the machine is actually manufacturing defect and they would get me $750 store cash to use it in Goodguys to purchase another one disregard the brand. I then purchased a Paykel and Fisher Washing Dryer combo and pay a small outstanding amount after price match in EOYS and was told to expect 6 weeks to deliver and collect the old machine. 5 weeks gone and one day I got a call from the staff thaty machine is going to arrive and will arrange the delivery next Tues. I am so excited as my old washing machine is kinda like a dynamite now and I am unable to do any laundry at home. I was too dumb and never contacted them on Monday to confirm the delivery but I decided to call them on Tues Morning to ensure everything goes right. Calling them is smooth but full of surprises which are coming one bigger the previous one. 0915 Calling the store and a staff told me it is on the way and she would to try to call the driver to get expected delivery windows. She put me on hold and then I was hanged up. Well.... Let's try again 0921 Calling again and another staff picked up the call. I explained what's happened and ask him to ask the previous staff about the expected time frame of delivery as I didn't want to bother the driver too much. I got told that I am living in a region the delivery usually happened in afternoon. Then this gentleman kindly put me through to the previous CS who helped me to trace the delivery. A lady then picked up the call and apologized that my delivery was not going to happen as there was no staff in warehouse and my washing machine was not picked up by the truck. My mind immediately went into&$+_/$-_+#-$($()$ and I asked if they could arrange an imminent delivery as I have been waiting for 6 weeks. She kindly agreed that they will arrange courier to do that the same day and get back to me asap. 1015 A staff called me and which surprised me further. The courier arrived to warehouse and couldn't found my combo machine 😦 She said she has to look into it and get back to me again 1030 She called me back and the machine did arrive to their warehouse earlier but it was sold to others. WT............ she offered me 2 options where one is waiting another 6 weeks or do me a refund I am thinking what kind of CS would think in this way to someone like me who has been waiting for something that long and unable to get it due to an error from the staff. She honestly admitted that it was human error and unfortunate but nothing they could do under this circumstance. She did even told me that they could offer me another model which is being sold at $1699 but they could discount it to $1300 but I have to pay for the outstanding amount Staff in the store are dumb enough to serve and never want to make up for the mistake they made but want the customer to take it. I decided to ask her to let the store manager to call me. 1105 Store manager called me and apologized for the mess that her subordinate had made. I finally felt that I am talking to a human with intelligence and with logic. She said she was unable to source that from anywhere. I admitted that I was pretty angry about the staff dumb decisions and the idea of paying extra for another model. She understood and admitted the offer was given while she was not aware of the human error. Now she decided to replace me with that $1699 model at no extra cost and will deliver it under their expenditures the same day. The staff are too lazy and silly. I can't believe that nobody get sacked from the job with this error. they just keep this happening without punishment to the staff.
Poor service Poor Guys
I dont recommend any body to purchase from this place. Their after pay service is horrible. A technician came in and didnt fix the issue properly and left. After the warranty period they arent responding just going round in circles asking to pay for the repair. If the technician did his job properly i wont be having a defective $400 dryer at my home purchased from Good guys Moonah.

Have ordered two products online via click and collect with the Moonah store over the last 2 years, a TV and a Dishwasher. Both time we arrived to collect the item after receiving the notification that it was ready to pick up and both times we were sent away by staff because of similar excuses around a warehouse manager wasn't available onsite so we couldn't collect our product. Have used Harvey Norman to purchase other white goods and have had zero issues. Never again.
Dry good service
We ordered a heat pump online with the click and collect option for this Moonah store. Went to collect it this morning, after receiving our “your order is ready to collect” message & email, to be told that you’re meant to ring and organise a time as it’s a large item and not stored on site… there is no mention of this anywhere in the text or email. Manager couldn’t explain herself or tell us a time frame it could be picked up. Drove down the road 100m to Harvey Norman to have the easiest service and picked it up immediately. Honestly don’t waste your time with the “Good” Guys.
Some staff are nice, Others are just rude, mostly managers too. One talked me into adding their concierge despite I had reached my limit. They said I could add an additional concierge and receive full benefits, I found out after the purchase, that wasn't the case. Would be nice if they would then be helpful with concerns, however they seem to only care about themselves and a select few remain while the rest of the staff change all the time. From an outsider, it appears the management are extremely poor. The Launceston store puts this one to shame. The managers on can't seem to be bothered standing up and addressing customers, laziness, poor customer service, poor communication.
This store takes the Good out of The Good Guys. Managers here are some of the worst I've come across. Staff lie and talk you into as many concierges as they can, then you are supplied with vouchers that don't even work. They are just chasing extra cash for false advertising. No wonder there's always new staff each time I've visited. This will most likely be the last. Go elsewhere so you aren't ripped off.
Bought a dishwasher today from sailendra, absolute pleasure to deal with this salesperson The problem I have is when I picked the dishwasher up from the back store area There was no one there so I pressed the button and stood just on the red line and tuff Mel come out. Scan my docket and said can you step off the red line? No please politeness involved. Very rude and abrupt All she had to say was please sir can you step behind the red line and I wouldn't be writing this review now she is just on a power trip, I am in customer service too and you don't talk to customers like that. I will take my business to Harvey Norman from now on.
Here in store for 10 plus minutes and not one sales person has acknowledged me or even said someone will be with you shortly. To bad even though i had ppl recommended i come to the Good Guys. Sorry no sale from me
Worst customer service & the dumbest staff I've ever come across in my life. Went in to buy a dryer, salesman tried to talk me out of buying it telling us it was an inferior product. Then told us to buy a washing machine. Even after we said we came in to buy a dryer he kept talking about washing machines. We asked him to check if they had this dryer in stock, he wandered off about the store in a daze. After 30 minutes of waiting, we asked to purchase the dryer, he kept saying they couldn't get the dryer down as no one was in the warehouse but could get us a washing machine. Then walked off. Another staff member told us it was tough luck & if we wanted anything we had to come back at a time that was convenient to them. We told her this was the worst store we have ever been in.. her reply.. I don't care Haha. Do yourselves a favour people, don't waste your time even going in to this place. Head on down to Harvey Norman just a bit further down the road, we did & we received the friendliest service & not only did we get a dryer they upgraded us to the bigger model for the same price.
Product did not come when they were supposed to
Went in to buy a laptop, I knew exactly what laptop I wanted to buy, waited 10 minutes for a staff member by the laptops, went to the front desk to ask for help and then was told to wait by the laptops, waited for another 15 minutes before walking out. I went down to Harvey Norman down the road where I was served immediately. Harvey Norman were happy to take my $800!

Called the store to enquire about my order but staff told me they serving other customers so put on hold for 30 mins but not answered my call. They did for twice. If you're not going to serv customers over the phone then don't place call on hold. Terrible service. A
Absolutely abysmal service from The Good Guys. I ordered a dryer and washer in December 2023. The website said it was ‘in stock’ in my post code. It is now April 2024, and they have said it was to be delivered to me TWICE then not turned up. I have received text updates confirming delivery which turn out to be lies. I have then had to follow THEM up more than five times only to be told it is not in stock and is a problem with the supplier! Not good enough at all. I am a person with a disability who finds laundry a difficult household task. We have had to outsource our laundry for ridiculous cost when we had already spent nearly $2k on a top end dryer.

I recently purchased some white goods at The Good Guys in Moonah and am inclined to leave a review after receiving exceptional service from Jasmine. Jasmine was dedicated to finding quality products that were both in my price range and fit for my needs, and nothing was too much trouble. She put my satisfaction and comfort as a customer ahead of making a sale, which is rare in my experience. Jasmine is a real asset to The Good Guys - she has a great sense of humour, exceptional people skills, and authenticity, which made interacting with her an absolute pleasure. I asked Jasmine while I was in the store if I could speak with her managers so I could let them know how outstanding her service had been. She directed me to Carolyn and Amy, who also both had fantastic communication skills and really made me feel at ease. Much to my surprise, they gave me a further discount on top of the discount that Jasmine had already given me! All three ladies were wonderful to deal with - thank you for making my shopping experience so memorable!

Have purchased a few things from the good guys moonah over the years. Always easy to deal with. Reading some reviews here people don't understand the retailer doesn't make the product sometimes there are faulty products and retailer has process to follow. Some manufacturers do have easier policies than others especially in small appliance category. We live in a world where no one seems to want to work in retail anymore and shops are doing the best to find quality staff but often have to hire internationals on visa's.
Sold me an oven with 2 weeks delivery and now told maybe 3 months. Terrible. Now waiting 3-5 days for a refund...wish me luck
I always receive excellent service from Paul. He is knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend The Good Guys to people and tell them to look out for Paul. It's refreshing to experience friendly and consistent service every time I venture into The Good Guys.
Went to buy an 85inch tv and the floor Manager Paul decided to add an extra $400 for delivery and installation even though they had an offer of free delivery and installation on TV's over 75inch...he said he'd do a deal for us, what a joke... we're going elsewhere, don't appreciate being ripped off. I'd give 0 stars if I could...

The most horrendous online experience ever. I ordered a cooktop online to be delivered. A couple of weeks later I received an email saying that stock is out and that it will be delayed. After many calls and over an hour on the phone being bounced around to different members (they also would not provide me with an alternative cooktop), I ended up speaking to a physical store (Moonah). They were super helpful in store and advised me that the product is actually discontinued and organised a refund for me. After waiting nearly a month for a cooktop, it now has to be refunded. Such an unprofessional business. I will never shop at The Good Guys online again. Note: this review is for the online web/phone area, not the Moonah store.
Not happy customer I went to the store on Thursday night after a 65 inch tv the lady said we have 2 in stock but couldn't find then So she got my phone number and said she would ring me but no she has not rang me so I rang up again on Saturday and another lady got my number and said that she will get her to call me bit no call again get customer service not looks like I have to take my cash
pacific air extendable clothes airer very unstable. Fobbed off by staff when questioning the delay in transporting an hours drive away that took nearly a week!! wouldnt use them again.
Purchased the washing machine and which lasted 2 week and later when I wash everytime there is a half drum of water and the drum is banging around everytime firstly the tech guy came and let me wait for the parts for 2 months and again he came next time he didn't change any thing and he says it's fixed and everytime I have to dry my cloths with my hands and it's already more then 3 months and now they says that the machine has no problem. They don't even follow the warranty and really bad customer service. The machine itself is so expensive and now I have to buy a new one so I'm not going to buy anything from this store. Not worth it and waste of time
Purchased a Dyson vacuum a few months ago, was talked I to a extended warranty at my own cost. The head unit on the Dyson failed to work. A new part was ordered and arrived 3 weeks later only to discover the unprofessional staff member had ordered a handle instead of the head unit. Spoke with Michael the manager who said it would take a further 3 weeks for the new part to arrive. 3 weeks later no part , was then told would take a few more weeks. Now we are at month 2 without the head unit. On the phone again today I requested Dyson's managers number so I could organise myself only for the good guys manager to tell me this is not allowed. Moral of the story. Head to Harvey Norman
Horrible service from the Indian guy there. I wouldn’t even give him a one start. The rest of the crew were great but a comment from the guy was “ you’ve come to buy a tv with no money pfft” like we had no money just because our app wouldn’t work at the time.. we ended up buying the tv and love it but I will never support them again. Very disappointed
Very good customer service, I brought in a faulty laptop that I had purchased from Harvey Norman and complained to the manager Amy and she personally carried me to Harvey Norman, got me a 200 percent refund and gave me her very own Laptop (huge upgrade) she then cooked me lunch and sent me on my way. 11 stars if I could thanks Aimes.
Lovely place
I went up on the get a tv bracket mount, wich they have a good variety without getting nuts about it. Didn't interact much with the sales person, who kindly left me to make my choice, without interfering, that left me in a relaxed environment. Then I follow to the register to pay, and I was kindly welcome by Jasmine, who not only heavily discounted the item I was paying for, she went on to tell me about her experience with dogs.... In the end just wanted to let you know of the wonderful experience I have while shopping at the good guys in Monaah. All these stores sale the same stuff, but what a difference it makes when a person like Jasmine is there to help! AND YOU CAN BRING YOUR DOG SHOPPING TOO! We will definitely shop there again, just to go in with the dog..... Well done Good Guys.
Understaffed and impossible to get any sort of service on the floor and the service that you do get is awful - unknowledgeable and unhelpful. But this review will have no impact because people will keep shopping here because the prices are competitive. If your budget allows it, shop somewhere local.
Our Meile vacuum cleaner cut out. I took it to The Good Guys in Moonah Tasmania. Michael was extremely helpful, told me that the vacuum had a heat cut out and would work again when it cooled. I got a new filter with his excellent advice.

The worst place ever to get service,been there several different times and every time no one to come and help. NEVER. BUY. FROM. HERE. You can, you just might not receive anything & as an added bonus, get gaslit into believing that your item is coming but it’s not. I ordered a dryer on the 7/12/22, received a tentative delivery date of the 11/12. On the 22nd I called their ‘help’ line to find out where it was & was unhelpfully told that it’s still in transit & due to Xmas etc, wouldn’t have a delivery until new year some time. On the 3rd I thought I would try their online assistant hotline. Was told they were organising delivery for the 7th, then received a text message asking me to organise a delivery & the earliest day was the 9th. Further, that I would get a call in the morning with the delivery window. NOTHING HAPPENED. When I called the local store, because my tracking said it was leaving Moonah, they said it was ‘on the truck’. But it never came. Today I went online again to just get a bloody refund because this entire palava is doing my head in, only to be told that they think I was refunded already on the 28/12! WHICH I CLEARLY HAD NOT BECAUSE THEY WERE TRYING TO DELIVER THE DRYER YESTERDAY!! Utterly ridiculous. I can only hope that I do actually get a refund but what a complete waste of time, energy and resources. Never again.
Went into Good Guys @ Moonah wanting to buy a TV however the salesperson was unfriendly and not willing to listen! Really bad experience. I’ll not return!!
Such rude workers I bought a laptop on February and then I decided to return it today because the laptop was too slow and it keeps on turning black and changing my wallpapers they said they can’t Return it even though we got the receipt when we bought it on February the person said that we have one year guarantee and then the lady said today that it was only 10 months and then they refused to return it I am never buying from there ever again.

That little blonde one, Christine, is the best shop assistant I have ever been served by. She sold me a fridge and even carried to my house on her back. She will go above and beyond for her customers. I also found a dinosaur in one of the fridges.

I order a dishwasher in July. I was told it was on back order for two weeks. Three months later I was still being strung along and told that the product was on its way. I've had to ask for a refund. I took my money strait to another retailer. I'll never deal with The Good Guys again.
We just Drove for from QLD To Tasmania in six day to live here. We needed a few household items. As we went along Fridge, dryer, kettle toaster, coffee machine the list grew. A massive Thank You to Jasmine her knowledge and patience made the experience really great. We are building a house here and we return 100% to this store because of Jasmine and the way we were treated as customers. David and Kerry.
