Up grade to a great course well done
Jan 2025. First time here. Recommended by MIL. Chef offered gluten free options for mum. All staff welcoming, polite and accommodating. Presentation of food mouthwatering. Definitely up for revisit when next in Blue Mountains.

I must say, Springwood Country Club surprised me. Quite an underrated course I must admit. The Par 69 course is filled with small surprises that impressed me. Located outside the main town away from the noice, the club is home to an 18 hole golf course and a squash court. There were definitely a few standout holes, but I must say hole 2 was quite an interesting challenge with the extremely steep approach shot. Other than those, the layout and scenery was very nice for a public course. Practice facilities included a water driving range, two large nets, and a putting green. Lessons are avaliable on site for those needing them. Maintenence was very well done, smooth greens with clean fairways and neat bunkers. It certainly surprised me to discover that this course is not privately owned with the quality I saw. The clubhouse is home to a nice cafe and bistro overlooking the golf course, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating areas. Another thing that surprised me was that the club still uses petrol carts, which were certainly louder than the electric carts often seen in most courses. They were also a bit difficult to operate. Once you get used to it, they're like any other cart. To conclude, I couldn't recommend this course anymore. It's great for golfers of all levels, or even to have a hit on the weekend. I would rate my experience and everything else a solid 4.6/5 (rounded up to 5) :)
Nice club atmosphere, excellent, friendly service, good coffee
I enjoyed playing this parkland style type golf course. The treelined fairways were good condition, and the greens rolled true. The bunkers were also well maintained. Accuracy is required as there are many trees waiting to inflict golfing pain on any errant shots. The practice facilities consisted of a putting green, a practice fairway, and warm-up nets. The pro shop staff were friendly and helpful, and the pro shop itself contained a good range of golf equipment and accessories. I look forward to playing this golf course again in the future.
Very nice golf course
Great service and venue. Reasonable prices and tasty food. Fabulous view across the golf course.
Had a great breakfast at a very reasonable price. I requested crispy bacon & soft poached eggs ... it was perfect. Highly recommend for a relaxing Sunday morning breakfast. I'll be back.
5/5 stars for Eugene in the Pro Shop. Very affordable prices and often better than the big guys such as Drummond
Great course. Plenty of undulation to test shooting up and down hill, or fairways sloping sideways. Greens ran true but were soft to land pitches on. The petrol golf carts are great to use. Sound of birds and animals in the trees around the course adds a bit of serenity. Very well priced for the qaulity provided which will keep me coming back.
Went up and had a putt for a couple hours on thier practice putting green day before 10 holes 🍻 great set up
Great meal and friendly staff
Great food and sense of community
Great course to test your game, bistro is good too
Really lovely! Best pie I've ever had. The beautiful surroundings just made our day!
We have found the golf club restaurant consistently very good, the food is delicious, fresh and well presented.
We dine at Citrus Grill and Springwood Country Club about every fortnight and love the quality of service. Every meal is very well presented, tastes delicious and the friendly staff always check on us to ensure everything is to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend Citrus Grill and SWCC for a meal with family of friends.
Hahaha it funny to think the privileged still have these colourless places
If I could give it 6 stars I would. We attended the inaugural wine and degustation dinner. Can I just say, big daddy Mitch, went above and beyond! The hospitality, food and wine pairings were next level. I started at the 19th hole and stayed there.
Happy hour now non existent and beers approaching $9. And no members pricing anymore.
I've played here a few times and love it everytime.
Coarse is great, charge $20 for personal cart, the head pro looked very stressed, not welcoming at all.
Great Mothers Day lunch. Food and service were excellent.
Golf bores me, but the landscaping is magic and in beautiful condition. The standout however is their Citrus Bistro. Absolute tops. Don't miss it.
For our group that reside in the Northshore and Hills District it is quite a long drive to play a game of golf. Yet, it is worth the effort. Starts with the price. A weekday price of $35 pp with a shared cart is inviting. The the staff at tge pro shop. Very friendly. The carts are not the best. The course, short. Par 69. Not too challenging. No water hazards. The course well manicured. The greens well maintained. Finally, the Club House/Restaurant. Spacious, very friendly staff and reasonably good food. To the golfers in Sydney, I say well worth a visit.
Beautiful public golf course. Not only too easy. Lots of trees, uphill and downhill areas. Large bistro / restaurant area to have few drinks after a game. Restaurant and function area cater for functions like birthday parties, small gathering. Recently rated as as 1st place in best hidden gem golf courses in Australia done by golf one. New restaurant opening in Jan 2024 and waiting to see how it goes.
Fantastic little country club perched just outside of Springwood CBD, offering a beautiful manicured golf course, intimate attractive club house the friendly staff serve up an array of tap beer, wine and spirits, along with barista made coffee and takeaway Alcohol, make sure you do try the citrus grill for a delicious meal. Bookings are options but would recommend, Plenty of onsite parking, Would recommend.
Great Service, the meals were prepared ready in no time at all. They were cooked to prefection.
멋진 전경과 친절한 프로삽등 모두 만족합니다
Great course and great bistro.. Enjoyed the golf too!
Have been to the Citrus grill twice now, both times the food has been fantastic. Staff are great with our kids as well. Cannot wait to return!
Ok
Good place for a Memorial Celebration of Life! Had a private room.
Great views, beautiful greens. The pro Golf Shop is professional and lives up to the name Pro Golf Shop, efficient, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Eugene Finn is a Pro golfer who is a great coach he's attitude is so positive and patient, he's funny and makes learning alot easier for me because his approach is fixed on me improving my Swing and perfecting my stance .I'm so grateful to him for his patience, kindness, and wisdom. Thanks Springwood Golf Club for such a great experience!!!
Great place,great food
Great place for golf, course is in great condition
Lovely quiet club to have lunch at. Fantastic food and large serves for the price, will definitely go there again.
The food was excellent, and you don't need to wait long. Good for lunch if you're heading to the blue mountains from Sydney or Vice Versa.
Between the $60 dollar deals on weekdays, friendly staff in the pro shop, and cheap beer in the club house, you'd be hard pressed to find something to complain about at the Springwood Country Club. The course itself is enjoyable, although the altitude and hilliness encourages all players to spend on a cart, no matter your age. I played with 3 friends on a Sunday afternoon and the course was practically empty, which was great as it allowed us to appreciate the open fairways and great views. Absolutely worth checking out even if it's a bit of a trip out of Sydney, as I can't wait to go back.
Nice and quiet. Challenging course
Our first visit for dinner and our food was absolutely delicious, best garlic bread we have had in a long time. The lady serving was lovely and very friendly as were all the staff. Will become members just for the restaurant...😋
We had a wonderful mother's day dinner. Lovely service, the food was delicious and the kids could be noisy without feeling judged or looked at by staff.
2hr wait for lunch, absolutely ridiculous. Un-inspiring food - a burnt stroganoff pie, overcooked rubbery mussels, raw vegetables. Avoid at all costs - there are better places to eat with a decent sense of customer service. Never, never again.
A beautiful course with a good variety of holes.
Great steak and customer service
Croaky
Very hard and very long course
Food was quick and fresh
Enjoyable but hard to play
Great 👍 meals
Wow! The meals are fantastic. Massive improvement since I visited a year or so ago. Great selection, Great service 👍
Lovely place to have breakfast on a Sunday
Booked a table for 8 people on Friday night. The Bistro, Graze by the Green is fantastic. Great service, value for money and good portions. Made the point to talk to the chefs and thanked them for the high quality of their food. The service staff are friendly and diligent.
Amazing meals , perfectly cooked
Good course. Some really great holes that challenge and create interest - the 5th and 14th are my two picks. Green staff do a great job keeping it in good condition considering all the bad weather of recent times. The guys in the pro shop are always friendly and accommodating.
Really nice course, in decent condition. A few of the greens needed a little care, as they have patches of dead grass. But it was a nice place to spend a Sunday morning looking for my golf ball.
AMAZING staff !! Everyone is so welcoming.
Excellent view, good wine and best pub food in the area. A family friendly area is being built which is exactly what it needs to be great.
Good course. Some challenging holes. But unfortunately you get stuck behind some hackers
Good course for ladies!
