Had to go to Big W last minute for kids spare clothes while travelling through ...had what we needed!

Fast fashion. Cheap prices on quality product. Needs to check supply chain constantly to allow a living wage to garment manufacturing sector.

Unfortunately the Katoomba branch did not have the Monster High dolls we were looking for. However, the Service Desk staff member was excellent . She checked other branches on the computer and advised us to phone ahead and check stock on the shelves. .

They had what I needed
A lot of parking spaces available, including undercover in the basement. Never seems to be busy, so easy for shopping. Large range of clothing for all ages and sexes.

Actually refused service and forced through self checkout when I mentioned it was bad that there is not even one check out for actual service was told “sorry that is the way it is now” It is not good enough Big W Katoomba
Great range and is neat and tidy. Was looking for gloves and had plenty in stock.
Never have any stock to buy !(hotwheels)and the staff are rude and no help like most big w I have been to there all the same we want to spend our money but you can't provide stock 🥱

Every time we go, the staff are always so welcoming and happy. We are able to get what we need straight away.
I went and put my bag at the door and went to the makeup section, next thing i know 2-3 staff members are following me and making me uncomfortable, everywhere i went they followed until I got so uncomfortable I just left, when i asked why they are following me they rudely said “so You don’t steal” and they had a bad attitude. And when i went to buy something at self serve and they were staring at me from the distance when i was LITERALLY IN SELF SERVE
Me and my friends went there and we put our bags at the front of the store, next thing we know we were being followed by 3 staff members everywhere we went. When we asked why they rudely said something about stealing and had a lot of attitude. The store itself is good but the way they treated us was not ok

Easy to find what you want
I found the staff a bit tired and unfriendly. It wasn't busy so they should have been getting breaks.
If we didn't have Big W at Katoomba we would have to travel to Penrith for so many items. The staff are always cheerful, friendly and so helpful and my carer can easily navigate the wheelchair around the store.

I arrived 5.58 to buy emergency tools and before I said anything the lady yelled at me and told me the place is closed. I said it emergency I know what I need I just need one thing as this is emergency she kept yelling at saying it close, WHERE IS THE HUMANITY, such a robot sad lady.
An excellent place to shop though there's been a reduction in lines available over the years. Great staff who are generally very helpful, good parking depending upon the time of day and easy access to Katoomba Street and the post office.

Sold me a used eyelash curler, I assume someone returned it and they thought they could get away with putting it back on the shelf! It was covered in mascara and the handle barely clamped anything as I think someone else used it lots before me. Threw it straight out, what a waste of money

Big W Katoomba has easy free parking and excellent access. The staff are friendly and helpful when you can find them and the opening hours are helpful if you’re doing the tourist thing and you arrive in the evening.

I took my PlayStation 5 back for a refund they told me no before the even checked the console properly I have autism and the manager Natalie treated me like I was stupid am not happy with there service would not Recommend shopping here at all rude and disrespectful
