Scotch fillet was absolutely terrible. Ordered medium rare and it was tough and overcooked. Olive green veggies overcooked and cold. 5 or us, food took ages, came out cold and 3 meals came out 10 minutes before the other 2. Food was overcooked and overpriced . Aircon was blasting way too cold we all froze.

Friendly local pub, in the heart of Richmond offering a large selection of tap beer , wines and spirits. Along with a vast bistro menu with pub classics and specials. The pub has keno, TAB and gaming facilities, along with both indoor and outdoor seating, Plenty of parking at rear of building, street parking at front of building, Fairly priced. Would recommend

The staff were friendly and attentive, and for the middle of the day the restaurant had a relaxed but not empty or packed feel. No loud music or machines and with a choice of inside or outside seating. I definitely recommend.

We came on a Sunday arvo and it was kinda busy. Very laid back feel. Food was excellent, very reasonable prices and decent size portions. The service staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come again.

It's been a while since I last visited here. Yesterday 12.12.2022 I returned this time with my wife and daughter. We were impressed with everything to make this review short. Staff were excellent your chef is worthy of a Michelin star . I HIGHLY recommend this place. I would have given 5 stars but there is always room for improvement. We ask for well done unfortunately it was medium well done at best. But I still recommend this place. Visited today 21/4/23 my wife daughter and I all had the $20 steak lunch was excellent as usual 😊👍. Visited tonight 11/12/23 came here with my wife and daughter and Mum and Uncle we all enjoyed our meals and my Mother's first visit and she said she will come here again when she's in the area. We recently celebrated our son's first birthday at RG's, and were extremely pleased with the service. Ruth and her team were exceptional, demonstrating remarkable flexibility and responsiveness, especially given a last-minute venue change. Communication was consistently excellent throughout the entire process. Furthermore, Ruth collaborated with us to create a cost-effective menu tailored to our needs, rather than imposing a pre-set option. The recently renovated outdoor area, complete with a children's play area and a new roof covering the equipment, proved ideal, even with inclement weather; the children enjoyed themselves without interruption. Would highly recommend RG McGee's for your future events.

we book the outside play area for our sons 1st birthday. we spoke to and organised things through Ruth and staff. Ruth was excellent. explained everything that we could possibly want or need and was very informative, all the way through the week leading up to the day, and on the day itself the food is 10/10 the atmosphere and staff 10/10 and is fantastic value for money. 10/10. we can not thank you and your staff enough for the day, food and atmosphere for our sons 1st birthday! The roof for play area was installed just in time for the day as it was humid and raining. so we're grateful for that too. Rgs will be our new family dinner destination. we are so impressed with the service and food. thank you thank you thank you!!

The two girls working tonight were so great! Very hard working when there was a lot of people to keep happy and all 11 of were all very happy - well done!

Was a great lunch, even tho it took 20mins to get first drink it was flowing after that! Food was amazing. Could do with a bit less volume of music as it was very loud. But overall well worth it 👌

They were a little busy when we got there at 10 minutes to 6 on a Sunday, 45-minute wait time, no problem were here for my sister birthday. 1 hour 15 minutes later food hitting a table that entered an hour after us

Not a bad place to go for a change from the usual haunts in Hawkesbury area.

We had a party of 6 attend the Mexican Fiesta. The food and cocktails were good and our server was great, unfortunately the music playing really soured the experience. The volume was excessive which made it impossible to talk to people on our table unless we were sitting directly next to them. This led to other diners having to shout to have a conversation which then added to the noise level. When we asked our server to have the music turned down she advised that many people had complained about the volume and when she asked the DJ to turn it down he became rude and grumpy. This ruined the whole event for us. I hope if you run the Mexican Fiesta again you hire a better DJ.

I ordered Roast Beef from the specials menu but what I received was 2 pieces of thick overcooked gristly steak with some veggies - no roast potatoes -in fact no potatoes at all -if they ran out of the roast option then let me know so I can choose an alternate option

Best coldest and freshest Reschs around, won’t go anywhere else for one, as they say Reschs Refreshes so if you are looking for a nice gold cold refreshment after hard days work, RG’s is the place to be… It’s that good they will probably change all their beer taps too Reschs.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The burgers we ordered were absolutely disgusting, poorly prepared and sickening, the food service has gone down since we last dined there, ordered the children a pizza it had so much cheese you couldn’t cut it was like a big block , will never return again.

The food really lets this place down. Lovely family pub with friendly stuff. A simple margarita pizza was inedible and the beef burger I don’t even know how to describe.

I have been 4 times in the past month. The fish I had the first time was excellent so I had it again next time and it was rubbish. Since I have had other things and it has been good. The Barra is still poor though. Service is good and staff are very friendly.

Had a great family day -the food was delicious and plentiful and the new playground a big hit with the kiddies. Only suggestion the play area extremely hot and without a shade sail we will not be visiting in summer.

Great place for a Friday countery

My husband and I have been enjoying the food and service here for quite some time now. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and I’m very happy with the menu choices .It’s our Friday night out and it’s great every time. Obviously lots of regular patrons as it has a very friendly atmosphere! We have dinner regularly here and now our family often dines with us.

Had the pleasure of introducing several friends (8) to our favourite venue in The Hawkesbury. As usual, R.Gs nail it for us and our friends who were very impressed with all of the staff who could not do enough for us. The meals provided were just amazing and the venue perfect. What a great venue for meeting up with friends for an enjoyable lunch and catchup. Well done R.G.McGees and thanks heaps from us all.

Lovely seafood basket and nachos. Weirdest thing though...order 2 shots at the bar but was told I couldn't take them back to the table...had to drink at the bar! We are in our 50's. Very strange policy which I think encourages you to skull the shot instead of relaxing with it. Didn't purchase.

First time visiting today, great friendly staff. We live an hour away but I'm sure we will go back again.

The worst pub food I've ever had. The place was busy and everyone's dishes looked nice. I ordered the seafood basket, everything was over cooked and cold. The squid was rock solid. My partner ordered Texan chicken parmy and he said it wasn't too bad but it wasn't the one he ordered and his chips were cold. The mushroom gravy was a a let down. We also got a cocktail jug which tasted like watered down orange juice. We spent over $160 and was left majorly disappointed. The brushetta was nice and I enjoyed taking my two dogs to lunch with us. The staff were lovely.

Lamb skewers were way too raw inside and lamb Ragu had whole pieces of lamb thrown in, it's meant to have the near shredded so the flavour meshes in with the pasta.

Had the crispy fried chicken burger which was 10/10 Great range of alcohol on tap, warm atmosphere and great service

Rgs is our local pub that we will only go to, the food the service is amazing the staff are absolutely fantastic and easy to get things booked in or sorted. Even if I lived in parramatta or Penrith I would always drive to come to this place there is nothing else like it. Thanks guys for always being the best in the business

We went for Mothers Day Brunch, the staff were fantastic, they quickly and professionally solved a small issue of flowers not being available The food was beyond delicious!!! The serving sizes were huge and we were able to take leftovers home Everything was fresh and hot The poached eggs with sweet potato base were cooked perfectly

I must mention I ordered and paid for 5 people to begin with for the brunch and cocktails and breavage, then the rest (2) arrived and I paid for 2 more, when the fruit and little cakes were served were only for 5 and not for 7 as it should be. We only realised afterwards. Other than that was very nice and pleasant

My experience of this fine establishment was top notch, I have never known such wonderful customer service in a local pub. They were very welcoming and food was very filling and satisfying also trivia was really fun as well. I really recommend this pub if your a stranger in town because the locals accept you as one of there own.
