I used to visit this pub regularly every Saturday for lunch and beer or two with friends. I went away for some time, and when I returned last week, I was surprised how the quality of food went down the hill. I was ashamed to tell my friends that this was my favourite pub. We ordered 3 tbone steaks, chips, salad and mushroom sauce. The girl taking our order had such unfriendly sour face like we were her worst enemies. The steaks were so thin that they were totally overcooked. Instead of medium rare, we received well done. The mushroom sauce didn't see a single mushroom. It was gravy with chopped onions. So disappointing. They will not see me again.

Atrocious place. Spent the whole time fighting cock roaches off. I've never seen so many cockroaches in the same place. They were everywhere, everywhere.

The rump steak was awful tough. As nails and raw as hell , you could not chew it as it was full of gristle , and fat the only peices I could chew was the ends that were cooked but tough , just horrible I prefer JJs this place was just nasty cheap and horrible Terry your standards have dropped

Collingwood Hotel is my favourite pub to visit. Good food and good service. the staff are great. Courtney, Patricia, Lara, jade, Alli and the rest of the staffs do a wonderful job. I love them all.

Nice pub & good food

Went for dinner with the family, spent roughly $100 but only ate half the meal. Usually the food is fine but this time parts of it were uneatable. The portion sizes are great but the quality has gone downhill while the prices continue to rise. The dining area was disgusting. The seating was torn up like an old couch you would find on the street!

Ordered over $80 worth of food pick up and the food wasn’t fresh. $26 a plate and the chips were a small size. Ridiculous! Will not order again or eat here. Go somewhere else.

Awesome place for a feed and a brew or two

I ordered the Calamari Rings. Everything tasted pub-like except the chips. They were soggy and over-done. Tables needed a clean. Sauces and cutlery needed to be asked for at the counter as they weren't accessible at your own will. There was no EFTPOS available, just cash or PayID. There is free wi-fi and the pub vibes were not too loud as we went on a Sunday night.

It was a quiet Tuesday night and the families were just leaving when I arrived shortly after 8:00pm. 4 big screens showing Olympics and replays of old cricket Test matches. All to nice background music. Heaven! The food was incredibly good value. $17 for a T-bone! I think I must have arrived in a Delorean equipped with a flux capacitor. To be fair, I have enjoyed better T-bones but this one was completely acceptable. It was a bit thin and had some fat but I prefer my steak with the extra flavour that fat gives. I chose the mushroom sauce. I think I’ll go for normal gravy tomorrow. I’m definitely coming back because you can’t beat the value. And one last thing. Who doesn’t like a schooner of Hahn Super Dry for $5.50?

It was a Monday night not busy but good was great for its price. Staff were friendly. Great place to catchup with friends or family.

Guy servicing was cool, got a false promotion ideal saying 1 in 5 win something yet 6 being wrong. I will change this review tomorrow if they fix up my reward and don’t be misleading. This is wrong advertisement saying 1 in 5 win as it isn’t correct. I’d love to test the patients of these lying scum bags again

Good pub .just need better food

Lady manager was a bit overhanded and smug with her attitude. No need to be so aggressive but overall a great place.

Avoid karaoke night at all costs. It's very loud and annoying. Also no parking spaces and on a main road all you hear is police and ambulance.

This has to be my go to place when we are running late for dinner. They provide the most amazing service and speed of the food is cooked by the time you finish ordering. Serving size is more than you can handle, and price is cheaper than you can imagine. The best in the area!!

Booked a table for 12 a week in advance for easter sunday just to get there and there was no tables available to sit even though a reservation was made prior waste of time booking the table stood around for half an hr waiting for a table to be free bloody ridiculous

I had read reviews about the food and walked 2.5 klm each way to try it. I ordered steak with creamy garlic prawns. Prawns were 7/10 & I suspect frozen. Steak looked like a road kill, was tough, and a fair bit inedible due to gristle. The place has character, but like a rabbit warren with inadequate signals. Lemon lime and bitters was 9/10 & enjoyable.

Hi public i enjoyed playing pool game at Collingwood Hotel and it is nice pub to visit and good service by the staff

We popped in one weekday for a quick feed. Restaurant is only open between 11am and 1pm. The food wasn't bad but we've had better at other pubs with similar prices. You can ONLY pay via cash or Pay ID. No credit cards. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean, but the whole pub itself is a bit run down. The staff are nice and friendly, and the tap beer is excellent. Some say it's a cheap place to eat, but it isn't. It's reasonable for what you get. My dish had a whole Kransky sausage that looked like it was reheated about 15 times. Yes, I did eat it, and it was still OK. I've placed a number of pictures with meal prices so you can make up your own mind. For a quick meal on the go, it's a pass from me, and it's a million times better than McDonald's.

I was at this pub a few days ago & I can say that the service was excellent. I was served and looked well after by Patrisha I recall, hope thats her real name) a young mid height lady with dark hair, she was so welcoming and accommodating without a complaint offered to get me multiple drinks , hot food and snacks throughout my stay. I was able to play continuously and drink and enjoy my night. I can see that the staff are trained properly to accommodate customers. Having a staff that shows their love for customer service. Which most pubs and clubs lack nowadays. Will definitely visit again !

I don't know what I was expecting. It's a pub, not a great one. But also it was a Friday night and there was no one at the bistro bar. The food wasn't great but there was a lot of it.

This place used to be great. Don't know what happened. It has no appeal.
