Waited a century at the pickup area thinking pickup would be faster because we’re in a rush. But It’s faster to order on Amazon than wait in the pickup line at GoodGuys Penrith

Great experience, very helpful staff, unlike the competition up the street who didn't seem terribly interested. Got a great deal on a microwave.
Guys who delivered the items said they don't take anything away, because the guys coming to fix the appliances will do that. At the end- after a week I got the 3 items installed, but they said they dont replace the dryer. Its not part of their job. Called the store Manager- Michael, no apology, nothing, no compensation. If I can give reivew, I will give him -1000. Now I left with dryer which I need to replace it my self. He said I didn't pay for that service and humans ( their staff)make mistake. Even though I clearly told that lady, she still made 2 mistakes. She is great apart to that. It's Managers job to fix that mistake. Clearly Penrith store manager doesn't give a damn about Customer servie.
We just spent an extensive amount of time in the Penrith store purchasing a large amount of kitchen goods. We received wonderful, informative and expert advice from the salesperson. She was patient and so obliging. She made the process so easy and knew what she was talking about. She wasn’t pushy and helped us narrow down our needs *ask for Jane at Good Guys Penrith

I’m so disappointed in the Good Guys delivery service of using the most unprofessional delivery company ANC to deliver the products .. changing their delivery time a few times in the same day .
Good prices and services but there is always a long queue.
The good guys is one of my favourite Electrical stores. If you want to match price they will better it. Plus, if you join the club you get vouchers to spend.
I had an online order not related to this store and despite several calls to the online team no information was provided. The team at this store helped me sort out the order and arranged delivery before Christmas. Best team I know of!
Easy parking excellent customer service
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, NEVER AGAIN! Our son purchased a fridge valued at $2000. He was deployed overseas the next day with the RAAF. My wife and I went in to the store and payed for delivery and organised to be there to receive the item (we live 4 hours away). We were told that we would be receiving a text the afternoon before WHICH NEVER OCCURRED! The day of the delivery we called in and enquired about what time it would be arriving and we’re told that it is marked down as PICK UP BY CUSTOMER despite the paperwork we were given upon payment for delivery. The manager Michael was very smug and told us it could be delivered on Sunday (the following day) and there was nothing he could do about it, no apology, no attempt to rectify or refund a van hire for me to pick up. Could not care less about our situation. 4 days lost to receive a fridge that we were originally told could be delivered the next day. I’m a builder who purchases fridges ,ovens and stoves on a regular basis. HARVEY NORMAN have always come through. LESSON LEARNT, NEVER AGAIN! Will update! We have asked for a refund and will go with Harvey Norman! Just ordered the same fridge for $100 less and it was delivered asap as promised for free!!! Worst service received from washing machine and dryer department!
Ordered a fridge, got told that it would come Friday by the lady on counter so we sold our fridge that day…called up at 10am and they said it will come before 6pm. Called up again at 4:45pm to be told ours will be delivered on Saturday. Didn’t sound apologetic at all, “ there is no way it would ever be delivered the next day”. Stuck without a fridge now….. Not very helpful service.
I went to the good guys in Penrith this afternoon to purchase a blue tooth speaker for a Christmas present and the salesman clearly preferred looking at his phone than providing any actual level of service! The item I wanted wasn’t on the shelf so I asked him as he lazily leaned on the counter near the Bluetooth speakers if he had one in stock and he said “yes got one out back!” And he just stood there… looking at his phone… so after waiting for a minute I left and bought one from Harvey Norman just down the road where I had amazing service. Good guys? Definitely not!!!
Some of the staff at this store are a big joke. They have used every cheap trick to tell me why they can’t price match with Target, Bunnings and Catch.com They price match with Big players only, it seems. In short, they only price match with Harvey Norman. After 5 minutes conversation, with great difficulty they have agreed to price match with Big W. However, they said my store credit can’t be used. They didn’t have any logic throughout their interaction with me. Very pathetic service from a reputed retailer. Had to leave the store without purchasing anything because of the hostile attitude of those two men.
Planned on buying a microwave, Linda helped through the transaction quick and fast, very friendly. Loading dock staff very friendly also, loaded goods into my car. Thanks
Placed a click and collect order at 10pm. The order was ready for collection at 9am. Fast process for collection with no fuss.
Stay away from this company they took me on a ride for 3 months and finally fair trading made them swap it

Purchased appliances from here several times, most recently a new TV as our old one had died. The staff were great, very helpful and listened to what we wanted before recommending brands. They were also honest about which models were overrated / overpriced for the specs which we appreciated. When we bought our oven, gas stovetop and rangehood from there last year the lady that helped us was also amazing.

Just want to say thank you to Louise and Dave for their exceptional service when my partner and I came in to furnish our new house with appliances, recently. Louise and Dave were professional, personable, and extremely fair. It was a pleasure doing business with them. We will definitely be back!
Great place to find a bargain
Rude staff. Had to use the bathroom so when i entered asked one of the staff where the bathroom is. She looked at me like a junkie off the street and said they dont have any. I walked out and straight to their competitor not far away where I purchased a tv. Missed out on a customer and probably will avoid in the future as well as I don’t appreciate (nor do I forget) appalling disrespect like this.
What. A joke - I requested a customer service and requested why the manager says it’s physically damage - he refused to answer and instead call the cops on me and pretended he owns the company and ask me not to come back 2 hours later Samsung customer service confirm is a hardware fault- my lawyers will be in touch stay away poor services
Came in the other week to look at a new TV and was able to find exactly what I was looking for thanks to Dave. Would 100% recommend seeking his advice if you’re planning on getting a new TV!
Shoutout to Michael for the excellent customer service he gave. Had to buy a coffee machine for my sister’s birthday gift, and he made the process very smooth and efficient. Purchased the Jura S8 and it works perfectly. It’s amazing to see someone at a managerial position still working on the floor and giving help. We did have a minor inconvenience, not because of Michael, but that was also corrected instantly. Overall, a great experience and will be back soon!
Find it astonishing that someone like Michael, who is the manager, has the level of incompetence, arrogance, and rude manages to hold a position of authority. On the 06/06/24 I explained to him about the issue with a microwave that I bought about 2 weeks earlier. I told him that the product was not very friendly and did not meet my expectations and that I was happy to exchange it for a more expensive one. He just dismissed my offer and told me that I have to send it for repairs and check if the product was faulty. His customer service was nothing but appalling. He looked so grumpy and sad. Perhaps he should consider a career change that doesn't involve interacting with people. When you spend almost $14000.00 in the store and be treated by someone like Michael, it is unacceptable behaviour. So I took my business to Harvey Norman and spent $5500.00 that night.

Went in to buy a new washing machine, unfortunately had to use bathroom, staff said sorry customers can’t use the bathroom, WOW ok, why is that - COVID, are you serious? Ok, so I won’t be buying a washing machine from you right now, got in the car and drove to HN to buy my washing machine, but firstly use their bathroom!
Staff are helpful, not pushy. We used their installers for a range hood that needed replacement and they had some height dimensions problems when installing. They worked around the problem and left it looking professional and tidy. Very happy with their work.

I was overcharged $130 when swapping undelivered items after a change of mind. I spoke to three team members and a store manager named Michael who all told me I was wrong. Michael was rude, abrasive and spoke to me as if I was stupid. He did eventually call back after looking back at his year 10 maths notes and worked out how to use a calculator. Michael offered to refund me $130 along with a pathetic apology where he did not admit fault or apologise for being rude.
Dont buy from here even if the price is cheaper, any issues with the items and good guys aren't so good. Rude hostile staff who don't honour warranty.
Some of the worst customer service. In the past we’ve had great service from these guys. Today, we had some of the worst. Went to Harvey Norman instead. Much better customer service there. Wondering if management at the Good Guys has changed.

Came to this location recently after my aircon broke, young lad named Ryan really helped me out and got me this best price on a portable aircon and fan 10/10 would recommend.
Easy pick-up and refunds with a wide range of TV's
Wouldn’t even give 1 star. Originally said they would deliver next day. Then said the next day. But the next day the truck was full. Still without fridge. Shop elsewhere!!!!!
Worst customer service
First purchase was a Hisense fridge. Westinghouse washer dryer and a Panasonic microwave. Paid delivery install and removal of packaging. Very happy with our purchase and the discount given. Only issue was with the delivery people who didn't want to bring in the fridge as we had a cracked tile on our door step. It was starting to rain and they wanted to leave it at our front door. I had to remove the door as it was a tight fit in the box. Don't know why they couldn't remove it from the bulky box before entering the building. Anyhow they managed surprise we were the last drop off for the day. Now to our second purchase. We went to buy a printer and David served us and mentioned that the good guys are Telstra dealer's. Well after my experience with optus I was happy to sign up on the spot to a better plan that actually has mobile coverage in my area. Thanks to David we gave Optus the flick got a $1100 voucher and a new network connection instore. We will shop again
Told 4 days for goods to come to store, waited 12 days and today told it might be another 8 days. Terrible customer service.. Money back and baught over the counter at Bing Lee, will never go back..
Big store, has several choices, reasonably priced
Went in this morning to replace a dodgy power board at home, and one of the employees Ryan came to the rescue, saving my home music setup! Excellent customer service, and honest salesmanship, what a lifesaver!

My fridge died and I bought a new fridge. Was told I had to pay an extra for delivery cos I was 1km out of the 30km zone which was well over $100. I was told by 2 staff members that I would get a text with a timeframe on Saturday night for Sunday. On Sunday at 10am I called the store to be told too bad so sad that we only deliver 10 mins away from your house on this day. And you have to wait until Tuesday and we won’t give you a time until Monday afternoon. It’s now Monday evening, and still nothing. I have lost the contents of my fridge as I was told the fridge would arrive the next day. I also have to rearrange my work schedule as I actually have a job, and I’m still out of pocket due to expecting the delivery to be the next day I used an esky to preserve what I could and I paid for premium delivery for being 1 km out. I have made a complaint to The Good Guys and received no response, so I have made a complaint to the Office of Fair Trading. And the only response from The good guys from penrith was blaming the casual staff member, which is a cop out
We bought a Hisense upright freezer on 30th August 2023. The hinge cover was broken when freezer arrived on Thursday 31st August. Went to Good Guys to discuss the issue, the shop assistant didn’t believe that it came defective. Later he agreed to repace the part. I asked if we have to pay for the replacement part to which the shop assistant sircastically replied, it only costs 10 cents. He took the part and advised that he will order it on Tuesday the following week, and someone would call us to give an update. He gave us no receipt or anything just took the part. We received a call which we couldn’t answer. So we called back, the shop assistant had no clue of our issue. We went to the shop later that week, the people at Good Guys had no idea about our issue. They haven’t put an order for our part, nor do they know what happend to the part we gave them. Shop assistant told us they will order the part again, it’s been a week now. Still no update from the store. So we are left with a missing part on our freezer. Will update this when more happens. THEY SENT THE WRONG PART!!! How frustrating… do they even care???

Some advice for anyone looking to shop here: don’t. We bought a TV which was broken when it arrived. We had to chase and chase and chase to reach a conclusion. The manager (Michael) was extremely unhelpful. I had to contact the ACCC. I’ll update this when more happens. It’s been about 6 weeks since the fiasco happened. Michael, the store owner was incredibly difficult to deal with. He was abrasive and aggressive. I escalated this problem to the manager Sandy who ignored my email. After trying to resolve the issue without any assistance from The Good Guys, we agreed that getting the store model was the best option instead of waiting an undetermined time for new stock of the tv we purchased. Eventually, the display model arrived but it had no manual. It was missing screws. Also, there’s a bright white part at the top of the screen. This is the second TV we have received and both have been faulty. There is a JB Hifi nearby.

Went there yesterday walked around all the departments no one asked if I needed help they staff were all hudled in small group barely moving reminded me of walking dead before the zombies get activated eventually I just left after noone spoke to me I did think out of like 15 staff and no customers one person could ask the one the one customer if I needed help but apparently that was too much work.
Purchased a brand new Hisense 75” tv and had it delivered to my house . Installed on the wall by an electrician the next day and when it come time to using it for the first time the screen was completely not working and damaged when turned on . Perfect condition on the outside and even have the wrapping etc on the edges still. So we had no idea until it was turned on for the first time . Good guys refuse to replace the faulty item . They haven’t taken any responsibility or even come to check the tv . Very poor professionalism . I paid good money for this and expect a working tv for the money paid.

I called this morning to enquire if a product that was on sale till yesterday would be price matched today as other stores still had the product on sale. Was happy to spend my money within this store as family had worked for this company in the past and always till now had great customer service. The young girl on the phone was very short and not fabulous customer service skills however did what I guess she knew. So I then asked to speak to her manager Bianca. Well in my years of working a manager is someone skilled, knowledgeable and helpful. Well all I recieved was a very abrupt, short, nothing more than rude and extremely unhelpful service. Needless to say I ended the call calling their competition down the road and recieved fantastic service and customer help at jbhifi with lovely well spoken and mannered staff. Thanks good guys penrith for nothing.. will not be shopping in your store again.

Bought store stock fridge which I understand which may not be perfect. Delivery guys almost dropped it going up the driveway bashed into the brick walls putting dents on 3 doors. The Goodguys passed me onto Hisense to take care of it who had no fridges in stock or doors. Hisense pushed it back to the good guys with store credit. The Goodguys said they could take the fridge back which was in use or replace it. They didn't have anything like for like and have basically done nothing to fix their issue. I have purchased TBS washing machines and small white goods from the Goodguys but will never shop there again.
I had purchased an oven with Penrith good guys . The sales person did not speak to me about delivery . I was advised after 10 days that i had only paid for installation and removal . It was not communicated during the purchase that there is separate delivery cost . Then i spoke to someone and advised the issue and said i will not be paying for delivery . She was rude and hung up .Bad experience and the matter is not resolved

Store manager Michael provided exceptional customer service. Gave honest advice, very helpful, and great prices on everything I purchased.
These cowboys deducted $300 from my account due to what they describe as a 'technical glitch'. Consequently I was hit with overdrawn fees and told it would take up to 5 days to return MY money. Customer service had zero interest in helping, to bad if you're a pensioner relying on having money in your account to eat.

If head office reads this. This is regarding giuseppe who works in the technology area. Poorest customer service I’ve ever received. If you’re looking to purchase an item please do yourself a favour and head into another establishment. Another of his co-workers said “oh that’s just his personality” when I went on to provide them feedback regarding giuseppe‘s behaviour.
Disgusting customer service. Called 5 days ago and paid in full for an item that Penrith was getting transferred in from Wetherill Park, was told it would be in within a day or so and I would be contacted. After 5 days no contact, I called the store to be told they cancelled the transfer and I need to go to Wetherill Park to pick it up. The sales manager was nothing but obnoxious and dismissive, offered no solution or even an apology, and sat on the other end of the phone in smug silence, not even speaking. All I could be told was it was not their problem. Wouldn’t even provide me with contact details for the store manager. I’m heavily pregnant, now 3 days out from Christmas have to find time (whilst working full time right up until the 25th) to go out and pick up an item that I have paid Penrith for and was told would be available in a day. Care factor from the sales manager at Penrith? Absolutely zero. If I could give negative stars I would, and would recommend NEVER shopping with this store if you expect anything more than this disgusting experience.

Called help centre spoke to Luke who was very rude and abrupt, asked him a question and he stated “do you want to buy it or not”. Sorry for wasting your time Luke. Congratulations for giving Bing Lee the sale.
