Jaycar Electronics Penrith: Where the staff are always happy to help, even if you're asking the dumbest question ever I recently had the pleasure of visiting Jaycar Electronics Penrith, and I was blown away by the service. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I'm not the most electronically savvy person, so I was asking a lot of dumb questions. But the staff were always patient and willing to explain things to me in a way that I could understand. In the end, I was able to find everything I needed and more. I'm so grateful for the staff at Jaycar Electronics Penrith. They made my shopping experience so much easier and more enjoyable. **Just be warned** if you're not careful, you could easily spend hours browsing the aisles at Jaycar Electronics. The place is a treasure trove of electronic components and gadgets. But that's okay, because the staff is always happy to help you find what you're looking for. 👍👌

Great service

Purchased a item from them 6 months now, and its running perfect. Now needing spare parts for backup etc, phoned though to see if they had parts available which they didn't. Cool i understand you cant carry everything in stock. So i asked Jason could they order it..with a 'I don't care and have other things to do attitude..said no, asked could he look into it..no he replied. So beware you buy equipment/gear from Jaycar..it could be a real possibility they don't support backup parts or in Jason's case explain in a more professional manner that parts can be purchase online etc... For his sake, he's lucky I was on the phone and not in store been spoken to in that way..outcome for him would have been different!

Constantly getting sold the wrong cables for what I am asking for. Never going back. Very clear at what I am trying to accomplish and am assured each time ‘this is the right cable’. 3 times now waste of money. Staff don’t care enough to know their product. Very annoyed.

Really helpful staff, had an issue with a fridge that I bought and they helped me find the receipt and exchanged it under warranty.

Very good experience, so friendly, skillful and professional staffs. Previously I have tried so hard to find a DC lead for my digital clock for many shops, but all came with negative results. Fortunately a friend took me to Jaycar Penrith, a staff with beard is so patiently and accurately installed a cable for me which saves me a lot of money to get another clock. So good attitude. I am so appreciated for it. Thanks so much.

Thanks so much. Love how whenever I'm there somebody always comes in clutching a broken something and the staff always jump in to help them. Great people.

I'm a eccentric wealthy person whom dresses poor because I hate being singled out like a gold watch,the staff are great with no discrimination favouritism, explains everything as I'm older, I'm the forefather of 2 museums Tenterfield railway and Wallangarra railway museum restaurant and designer of world's 1st solar train business plan and track inspection at Byron Bay, the staff are unaware of name here but I'm a regular customer until I pass away,I required cameras, radios ,recording equipment, wire and plugs etc ,nothing is a problem for andrew and staff,keep safe jc staff covid.

EXTREMELY negative experience. My partner (who is a person of colour) was singled out and followed by a female employee who then accused him of stealing glue sticks (which I was considering buying, not him) and then proceeded to check his bag, whilst completely ignoring me, or even asking me any questions about it. Very unprofessional, disrespectful and demeaning. Was not my partners first negative experience from the same worker. Will not be returning to this store again.

Had some switch panels and USB slots along with a volt meter to add to the Pajero, had everything at Jaycar Penrith that i needed.

This is a very comprehensive shop with many different electronic things but they have to have just the right switches for me and excellent service.

Small, at least in my opinion, but has the same range as any other store, some staff seem a little shy, but its good that I know what I'm after.

A quality electronics store. Pretty small space. Has seeming everything that you need for micro circuitry and soldering. Has a lot of security cameras and seemingly every cord connection for every device. Staff know what they're talking about and are always happy to lend a hand.

I have found the staff in this Jaycar to be really helpful. They seem to know their stuff and when they didn't have a component I needed they gave me all the info I needed to find the part elsewhere. And they suggested a place where I was able to find it.

Excellent service! I had very little knowledge but a specific idea for a university assignment and received a lot of help and great advice on what products were best to use.

Wanted 2 or 3 metre hdmi could only get 1.5 metre . Great store for getting a lot of electronics still happy as they do exchange for 7 days

This place has all your electrical needs , they have everything from electrical DIY kits to spare electronic components , security systems , lights alarms and a whole lot more .The staff are very helpfull and knowledgeable to the point that they will oversell to you if you let them .

As a customer I wanted the item so I can take it home an rest it myself. The sales person wanted me to bring the item in for them to test it. Why should I waste time bringing something I can do my self at home. Negative review on this place. Never coming back

Last place where I will ever go. Very rude and arrogant staff. I got there 10 minutes before get closed didn’t even have chance to ask what I need answer was we are closed. Why on earth you have 4pm close time when you already 10 minutes or who know when earlier asking customers to go. There was manager useless didn’t say anything, in my believe if you are on site before close time let customer finish and go but I was 10 minutes before close time. What I could see useless customer service and my recommendation to this place is last shop I would go. Jaycee should be going and checking on these frenchise shops as they going to put brand down.

Still awaiting refund since 2016. I am not sure why this company has been recommended. First we were recommended the wrong product, then we were again recommended another wrong product when the first one did not work and then it took another 3 hours in store for the store assistant manager to test and see for himself that the product does not work as it was intended to which then entitled us to a refund for our money back and now it has been a two year wait to get a refund which I am entitled too.

This is my goto play when I need something electrical and the combined experience of all the staff means you'll get the answer you need. They carry a vast assortment of products and if it's something they don't carry in their product range they are extremely helpful in pointing you in the right direction
