He tried to sell me a higher value item and then when I mentioned just needed for today he proceeded to sell me a pair at half price only he doubled the price of the item so very deceitful and misleading so I will be taking this to the accc

After I was abruptly told by my local store the he doesn't stock Tefal. I purchased what I wanted online, considering I had to pay for delivery, Beta paid the extra costs for it to be delivered from Chatswood Store to Cowra. Beta did a great job with customer service, unlike my local store. Pricing was really good and it works perfectly.

I purchased a fridge from Betta in early November and initially faced an unexpected $40 delivery charge that was not mentioned during the online purchase process. This caused significant frustration, and it took over two months of persistence to resolve the issue. However, Betta has since refunded the delivery charge, which I appreciate. I also want to commend the Chatswood store manager for their excellent in-store service, which initially encouraged me to choose Betta over other retailers. While the resolution is appreciated, I hope Betta improves its communication about fees during the purchase process and ensures smoother customer service interactions in the future. Apart from these, the cooling system of this model of fridge is not cool, even I turned the temperature to 4 and 5, vegetables changed very quickly. Usually, 4 degrees of temperature for even larger fridge is already cool.

Given it is black Friday period the price could have been better but I was not going to bargain on a $749 gas stove. Ordered TV from Betta which arrived damaged. I believe the TV was damaged from the factory as the box was perfectly intact. It was obviously disappointing but Betta Chatswood managed the whole process very promptly with Samsung and I had a call from them to arrange delivery of replacement TV within a few days. I was so worried as I had a nightmare experience with another company that took 3 months of chase ups to resolve a broken appliance. Will buy from Betta Chatswood again as they handle issues professionally and quickly.

Would give 0 stars if possible. I placed an order in August, Betta had no problem taking my money however have still not delivered my purchase and it's now October. Each time I followed up all they would tell me is they're out of stock, have been since I placed the order, and keep delaying the date they expect to receive stock on my item. Businesses should not be taking orders for items that are out of stock particularly when they have no idea when they will be back in stock! Absolutely shocking.

Michael and his staff are the best. Always helpful and informative on all the appliances and tv’s and ensure that you get the best deal.

The team at Betta Home Living Chatswood provides such great and honest service. The delivery and installation was organised for the same day. I went in to purchase my dryer at 10:30am, by 12:45pm, my dryer was installed. Fantastic service from both Michael and the delivery/installation contractor Anu. DO NOT BUY from this store. They do not inform you of EXACTLY what you are buying and take no responsibility or do anything to change the item they didn’t inform you of in its entirety. Current Legislation allows the retailer to be silent and then any change is at the discretion of the store. They did nothing to help and tried to palm it off to the supplier to sort out.

Great shopping experience. The sales person, Mike, was understanding and found us great deals while giving us the feeling that we have someone we can trust. Also the delivery was great. The team that came were quick, nice and professional.

Love dealing with Michael and his staff. They are incredibly personable and helpful, and best of all, extremely knowledgeable about their products. They provide good, old-fashioned service - something which I value highly.

Overall a really poor experience from start to finish. The Chatswood store itself is perhaps not to blame hence the 3 stars instead of 5 but everything was really substandard from lack of stock clarity on the website, to taking 8 weeks to receive the promo offer of a gift card. Not only that, but they just dump the machine in your place without any sort of assistance. Not even removing the packaging for you. Appliances Online delivered a fridge to us the same day and the experience was worlds apart. Just a really poor taste left from this whole purchase and I would certainly not be rushing back when there are many other retailers offering the same products and prices with better customer experiences.

Efficient and professional service. Offered a good price for new oven

The worst experience I've ever had at an electronics store. Delivery of my washing machine was delayed by days with the couriers not showing up for appointments. Then I got a $100 'cashback' Visa card which took more than two months to receive, and then when I downloaded the voucher it didn't work and I couldn't redeem it again, so I was cheated of $100. Just avoid this store at all costs.

One of the greatest customer service experiences I have ever had. All staff members I dealt with had incredible product knowledge, were kind and clearly focused on helping me choose the best products for myself. Communication about deliveries and possible exchanges was on point. I highly recommend Betta in Chatswood! They are 10/10 in product range, customer service and efficiently. Michael was fantastic Excellent service. Had a big problem with a Hisense washing machine. Hisense were useless and didn’t want to know about it. Michael pulled out all stops to make it good and after Hisense refused to replace the faulty machine Michael replaced it with another brand. Michael then followed up twice with email a and personal phone call to make sure everything was ok. This is how you get a customer for life. Exceptional service even when things go wrong. It’s not that there was a problem it’s how the problem is addressed and this guy is the guy you want if there are any issues. Thank you Michael.

Purchased a SMEG oven from Betta Chatswood at the beginning of April 2023. Betta was best when it came to price. I opted to pay $150 for disconnection and removal of the old oven and for installation of the new oven. Delivery was just a few days later by the electrician who took great care in ensuring that the new oven lined up perfectly with an existing, adjacent SMEG microwave/oven/grill combination unit. A good experience from ordering in the store through to delivery and installation.

A week ago I went to get some headphones and i found your shop lying around. The employees were really nice and i wish for you to relay my thanks to them.

Great customer service, fast delivery

Probably, the worst online order experience I have had so far. I ordered a headphone, and they didn’t have it in stock even though they were showing for it. I sent an e-mail asking when my order will be arriving, and didn’t get reply. I called to their store and I was told that they will be ordering from another store for me, but I wasn’t sure that they would do so given my experience with their none response to my e-mail previously, and of course they didn’t order it. I was told to wait for two weeks to get the headphone or get a refund after such a long wait. You guys definitely need to be better in being clear about your stocks on hand so that you don’t waist people’s time.

Don’t usually leave reviews but I have bought a fridge and washing machine from these guys and they have given the most incredible service on both deliveries. Absolutely recommend if you want great quality items and great customer service to match.

I bought a fridge from this shop and I was very happy with their customer service. The staff members were very friendly and proactively willing to help. As the model (CHiQ 255L top mount fridge) I order initially was not in stock, they offered me a much larger model (CHiQ 297L top mount) at only $30 additional payment (regular price difference is $100). And in that additional payment, they included next day delivery and free installation. Moreover, delivery was free. On top of that, they gave me a $20 voucher! And with all these, I checked out as a very happy customer!

His knowledge and customer service is second to none. He can also advise you as to the best appliance or tv you may need. Refreshing! Staff are polite and knowledgeable about their products. They also managed to sell me a more expensive product for a reasonable price. I came in looking for a 15L evaporative cooler and left with an evaporative cooler AND heater!

Recently we returned an appliance under warranty to Betta Home Living in Chatswood. It was replaced instantly and without fuss. We were so impressed with their excellent customer service that, over the following week, we bought an oven, a washing-machine and a dryer from them. Michael and Alex were very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. The prices were competitive and delivery was prompt (within 24 hours) and friendly (especially Alapati). We will be back!

One star. Firstly after paying NO CONTACT from anyone about delivery. Had to chase via website enquiry form. Secondly after calling the store to arrange delivery they said next day. Waited home all day - delivery between 8.30-6.00 - you are the 5th delivery (never updated; driver never returned call) got another message Good news! Your delivery will be delivered between 8.30-6.00 tomorrow". Truly - this is appalling customer service and really being treated badly. Will not ever buy from Betta again. I recommend Appliances Online - may cost a few dollars more but reliable and always communicating with the customer."

Great. Low prices, helpful staff and plenty of stock. Our delivery (washing machine) was on time and installed really fast.

I ordered two heaters almost a week ago expecting this to be delivered by now. Called the store only to advise me they are out of stock. Whilst they have offered me a different heater, I’m wondering had I not called them, will they ever let me know that they were never intending to ship out my order?!

This store does not know what customer service looks like. Please visit other similar stores to get the best price and service.

We went to pick up our online order for three products. They didn't have any of the products we ordered so they gave us the ones they had in store but non of them was relevant to what we needed and decided to give us two products that equalled to $33 when we paid $68 online? This is some primary school level service. The online store is also a big fail since it told me to go to this store to pick up the particular products we ordered when they had none. Also, when they handed us the wrong product because they didn't have the one we needed, they said it was the same product with a new packaging. This was definitely not the case and the product was for crosswaves when we specifically ordered a bundle of formulas for a deep carpet cleaner. Like..what are you guys trying to do??

Ordered a dryer listed as in stock. Chased it up two weeks later when I had not received any communication from them. The replied 3 days later saying that the dryer was out of stock. Disgusting customer service.

Good service and price

Pretty slow, and the delivery people were a little unpleasant. No communications to say that the original item I ordered was no longer in stock even though the web site said it was. Had to call them to find out. The delivery driver did not turn up on the appointed day, but then turned up the next day with only 1 hours notice.

Very disappointed by poor service and communication regarding delayed order.. ordered a washing machine on 16 Jan and did not receive any calls regarding delayed delivery .. had to continuously call the store to find out it was delayed from LG and needed keep calling for updates on estimated delivery and on the 5th time calling found out needed wait until may / April.. cancelled and ordered elsewhere with no washing machine for nearly an entire month after moving to Sydney from qld!

I’ve ordered a washing machine online just before end of the year, which had been oversold and delivery was super delayed unlike mentioned online, obviously not their fault. The team has been very good and trying to help and accommodate as much as possible. The only minus point I would give for not calling back when promised to do so, I had to follow up. Ended up buying another machine for higher price, which was then delivered on the same day. Very happy with the washing machine and can definitely recommend Betta. Thank you.

bloody awful - could not provide - the ordered product - claimed it might arrive in a fortnight - not a great effort for a washing machine

I was searching internet for a bar fridge of a particular size to fit under the kitchen benchtop. By sheer chance I come across Betta Home Living in Chatswood. I called to ask if this fridge is on display so I would come to confirm the dimensions on site. I spoke to Michael who told me that it will be available after 16 December 2021. On 29 December 2021 I called and Michael answered the phone. The fridge was on display as Michael said earlier. Michael was absolutely fantastic in answering all my specific questions and offered to take measurements to save me time coming to the store to do it. Michael customer skills were remarkable. He was polite, very informative and proactive making practical hints to make sure that the fridge will fit to the available space. I am extremely pleased with the service I received from Michael and wish him all the best in the business. Bob Put

I had a great experience purchasing a TV from Betta Chatswood. Their online store was easy to use, and when I called with questions the person I spoke to was pleasant and told me what I needed.

If I could give negative stars I would, tv under warranty just stopped working, over a month of excuses and delays and gaslighting me, they refuse to replace product, manager rude and aggressive, several items we purchased from this store did not last 12 months, disgraceful service, disgraceful products and aggressive attitudes in response to genuine complaints of faulty products, give this store a big miss!
