Been here multiple times this place has gone downhill alot ! Staff at door unhappy Prawns we're off and chicken wing in chocolate fountain and no jugs verry unhappy definitely wouldn't recommend!

Honestly the best place to eat, the amount of variety of nice foods, Chinese food is fresh here they also have sashimi!!!!

Never any different food always the same & the prawns are getting smaller and smaller each year don't even have dipping sauce any more

Great value for many a nice range of dishes availible. Vegetarian alternatives also. Lots of space to move around on. Been here on many occasions and planning to be there for many more. I recommend the pork buns and the creme Brulee. Popular for birthday parties where you just want to show up and leave all the washing up behind. The service here is good. Excellente!

Star Buffet has now been renovated and looks spectacular, having much more room then previously. The food is so delicious catering to every taste. They also have treats for the kids with fairy floss and a chocolate fountain, so yummy !!! Highly recommended !!

Didn't eat much but the prawns are not good. Driving home had to pull over vomited 6 times. My dad and sister also eaten the prawns and also vomited.

A great place for a very decent feed. There is a good variety of food and some really nice dishes. The sushi train is a massive win, but the dessert bar is where I feel this falls off just a little. A few nice options but a lot of fancy-looking things that I didn't particularly enjoy. The staff are on it, always moving, always helping. Felt slightly crowded though it wasn't full. But this restaurant is always a family favourite, especially for big events.

So disappointed with star buffet Penrith. We had high expectations after going to star buffet in Canberra which was amazing. This place in Penrith is horrible. The food was tasteless, cold, and lacking freshness and variety. Basically chicken wings and nuggets was what we ate after paying $120 for our family to eat here. I would have been better off buying KFC and that’s saying something. Don’t waste your money here. It’s not worth it.

If I could rate this place a 0 I would , worst buffet all of us got food poisoning including my pregnant sister in law , food was cold and meat was harder then anything, but not surprised when we seen food scraps still left on the “clean” plates .My partners 13yr old brother was vomiting before he even got to dessert following other symptoms when we all got home. Called up only to be put on hold then told their not even opened and that they would return the call straight away when they open for dinner that day .( straight away meant 12hours later the next day ) The manager lied saying I was the only case when other people we knew that went had also complained as we wanted some type of compensation.

Don't bother coming here. Waste of time. Disappointing seeing that I came here with my son for my bday. Go to the Bankstown one instead. Way more variety but just avoid the pasta coz they keep it in the water. Anyway, back to Penrith one. No variety. The honey chicken Was chewy and I had trouble swallowing it. Had to spit it out My son, who is a HUGE fan of soft serve couldn't even finish a bowl coz he didn't like it. The robot constantly saying, excuse me, behind u watch out is bloody annoying. Employ actual people. We ALL deserve a chance at working, even people with a disability. My son N I literally left after half hour. There was also a squashed dead bug on one of the plates. My son and i found it pretty funny that where the options were to what dishes do u recommend an option was 2 glasses of water. How pathetic. I found it pathetic that how can we recommend the lasagne if theres none here? My son.and I couldn't wait to get out of here. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!! I was gona give it a one star but my son was being generous and gave it two My son had put 2 stars 🌟 for the service, but I.put it down to one, coz of the stupid bloody robot. GIVE ALL PPL A CHANCE TO WORK!!!! Now my son and I feel pretty sick, and this is thr fastest time that I had written a review so fast.

Prices incorrect on Website to start. Was really looking forward to dining here as had done a number of times 3 to 4 years ago and the food was great! BUT, now dried out/overcooked SS Pork, roast meat cut the wrong way and tough and pork osso bucco like eating your thong. Roast vegies like cardboard and not cooked enough. Went to the seafood sign only to find no seafood. Roast duck n pork nice. Sate chicken nice. Oiliest short soup I've had in my 64 years on this planet. Last time for us. St Marys buffet bow better but was 2nd rate to here years ago

Its really hone down in quality and service. The drink bar is excellent very helpful. But the staff that makes sure trays are filled was probably on a break as a few trays were empty.

Its an all you can eat buffet and its usually busy which is to be expected. Wait times for table aren't usually too long if you get in early. The food quality is always ok, and never had an issue with getting sick or anything like that. They do the usual trick of serving up the high carb foods first, but the variety of foods from sushi and chips and nuggets to asian style stir fries, lasagne, and seafood will cater for alot kf people. I believe you get a very slight discount for being a club member (pretty sure its only like $1) with a larger discount for seniors card holders.

Star buffet have lots to offer, especially great if you run out of ideas of what to eat that day or you have large gatherings with friends and family. It's actually ideal choice for that same reason, saves tons of cooking time. For the cost, definitely a lot of value you getting. Different Asian varieties, Western meals and mix dishes. I particularly like their seafood and desserts. Think the seafood bar is seasonal as some occasions there's less choices available. Still not a bad outings with the family. Give it a shot, enjoy 😍

This place came highly recommended? What a disappointment to say the least! Took family and friends there today only to be let down horrifically! The said salt and pepper prawns?? Crumbed prawn shells were an absolute treat… The sweet sesame supposed chicken? Tasted like fish with not much flavour…. Sauces weren’t helpful at all…. Pork was tougher than grandma’s boot… Rice could have been used as buckshot! There sweet treats bar?? That chocolate fountain was a mix of road tar and gravox…. The thickest burnt tasting texture I’ve ever eaten…. Fruit was ordinary not a lot of variety either… Tables had other people’s trash n dishes left all over…. Wasn’t overly busy which made no sense on cleaning the place.. Don’t recommend many other great eateries around that area…

Asian style food is equivalent to the frozen Woolies home brand… thought it would be a winner because it’s Asian run! Some of the meats are okay but the pork must have been ordered of Ali express

The food is fantastic Went back again on Friday nite. Got there 5.15pm for a 5.30 entry, first people. Had honey chicken,sweet & sour pork, crumbed mushrooms, prawn cutlet , ,American ribs,scallop with vermicelli on top ,garlic prawns,scalloped potatoes, sushi train, Mongolian beef.,salmon wrapped in pastry, Bowl of pumpkin soup. My Dessert was cheesecake,,pavlova, watermelon, creme brulee, small warm Portugese custard tart, 2 cups of tea. Also have roast & vegies, prawns up the back & salads, steamed items, lots of Asian stir fry, rice & noodles, other fried foods, another 2 soups, sushi items from moving line, other desserts, chocolate fountain & someone to make fairy floss on a stick, ice cream with cones available. Quality of food was very reasonable especially with the price increase. It used to be around $25 , now it's $36, with a $1 discount if RSL club member also have a seniors card discount if applicable. Go there hungry & try to eat lots 🤪🤪🤪

You definitely get your money worth here,plenty to choose from. From roast meat vegies salad seafood sushi Chinese food fried food and desserts and more. You won't leave here hungry. Loved the robot bringing the bowls of food out and it warning us it's comming up behind us. Dirty plates were taken off our table in reasonable time. Thought there would have been abit more seafood for that's OK. Will be back again for sure and next time we will try the dinner one

If I could give a 0 I would !!! Absolutely should be disgusted in your selfs for serving such horrible disgusting cold undercooked food. You open up for dinner at 5:30 I got there at 5:50 how on earth is the food cold and so poorly cooked… such a waste of $77.00 NEVER AGAIN. First and last time coming. Iv never been so angry in wasting money on such crap. Absolutely disgusting.

best dessert range is right here. that one time i went there was cheesecake and mmm it was too good. you wont see a wide variety of dessert in any other rsl buffet.

After trying Maconi Club Star Buffet, I thought I would bring my family here, Me and my daughter where talking this place up as we thought we would get the same quality of food I'm now embarrassed that we did, Non of the sea food was fresh, My daughter and partner are big sea food eaters My daughter didn't even get a plate she wouldn't even try a prawn, My partner got back to the table then left his plate on an empty table because of how un-fresh it looked and lloked all dried out, he wasn't going to risk eating it. The roast meats were all dried out Like they were the left overs from the night before, The Chinese section frozen home brand from woolies taste better, the pork and chicken was just batter and fat, covered in alot of sauce to try and hide the actual flavour. Desert was basically the only edible thing But the cakes weren't fresh and had obviously been frozen, the apple crumble was OK tasted burnt, my daughter and partner said what they got was stale and non of us even finished eating dessert. And true to form once again rude customer service We will continue to drive out to Club Marconi Food and suggest others to do the same thing, the food is always fresh and they have extremely friendly customer service.

Came here since the campbelltown one closed down. No where near as good. No bottomless drinks, not as wide a range as the campbelltown one. Food was alright but still could have been much better. Price is pushing it also.

Baked meats have more fat then meat. Baked vegies taste like Dirt. Sweet and sour pork? more like Sweet and sour batter no pork BBQ Ribs? BBQ Charcoal burnt so bad that not even the sauce saved it. Clean cutlery? not here. Variety? not as much as their used to be Not worth the price it costs better off getting a few take away dishes from a local store and eating at home.

The woman at the cash register was absolutely convinced I was trying to sneak in some of my family without paying? We were all standing right there and I told her upfront I was paying for my family and my brother was paying for his. But she kept questioning me over it to the point the whole process took forever. It was really bizarre lol And this sounds ridiculous but the robot that carries the food was literally chasing me near the deserts. Odd place

This amazing place boasts a perfect space for families to enjoy a great meal with endless options for food choices, a bar that is stocked to the brim with beers and wine and a table layout that can accommodate individuals to large groups of people and families. The food is perfect. And the deserts are just simply divine. They really have this place setup just right.

By far worst food I've ever tasted. Even the most simple dishes tasted the way that old people smell. Somehow even the ice cream was flavourless. There's also an annoying little robot that chases you around the buffet area yelling at you to get out of the way over and over again. I wish I was joking but this is what actually happens. Bizarre dining experience please avoid.

The food selection was amazing. This year the food quality was great, warm and fresh. Servers were at our table very quickly each time we were done with our plates, though the atmosphere could use some work. Though it is no fault pm the staff or the club itself, the atmosphere overall felt a little suffocating.

Fantastic selection of food. With a family of 5, sometimes it's hard to find somewhere where there is something for everyone, but Star Buffet has it all. The kids loved the sushi train, and my favourite is the Asian section.

For the price, the food was honestly very solid. Much better than the other STAR buffets. Would come back again!

Scrumptious food and love eating here as it's great for a budget meal and celebration

I gotta say, some of the foods there are stale... The maccoroons were stale, This robot was VERY annoying telling me to get out of their way when it CLEARLY can walk around me, The food was cold, The cotton candy machine had stale sugar in it, My sister and brother tried some rice and there was red stuff in it that tasted awful. Service was pretty bad rarely ANY workers were doing anything. The good thing about it is the drinks were fresh and cold. I recommend you try and fix up some of your foods and please check if theres something it shouldn't be in next time. I'm not going here ever again.
