I really like the new look of Mr Su’s restaurant it has more light and makes the place look good. The food was nice and yes I will definitely be back.

My daughter and one of the Grandsprogs ate there tonight. I don't often give 5 star reviews for Anything as I'm an Australian not a Y...Ee. However the food had taste but more importantly the server , only one on, came over when I couldn't walk and got my phone and paid for a dessert for me. I don't remember names but she needs a pay rise. The guy at the coffee machine yesterday, 4/2, made the best iced coffee I'd ever had. Putting the shot on top of the milk was brilliant

We had seen Richard clapton last night. It was amazing ..Richard clapton 👍 up excellent entertainment sound lighting ..seating and service from bar staff excellent.. also reception and the Cafe 5 star 🌟 service .. eats at Cafe the yummy pizza.. chips and no how to nake a decent coffee..security was friendly on greeting all ..carpark was well lit and safe.. will be definitely making a trip there again 🌟 🤩

Went here for Xmas day lunch.. paid $65 per head food wasn't that great, some were dry and tasteless. The food display was in a buffet style. Quite crowded , found some difficulty in manoeuvring my grandmother in her wheelchair around tables and people

The food is hit and miss as some meals taste great other don't. The prices are expensive but you do get a lot of food.

Best food!!! Can’t go wrong. So much variety everything was cooked to perfection and lovely dessert range too. Must try!!!

Mr Su's Chinese restaurant at the St. Marys RSL [Mamre road]. They held a great banquet. Great price, and the best Chinese meal I've had in years. Also not too salty. Also entertaining.

I attended the Melbourne Cup Luncheon at St Mary’s Band Club with several guests, upon arrival we were greeted with a glass of complementary champagne by a wonderful staff member Rachel. Our seating on Table # 9 was perfect where we were in full view of the entertainment provided. There were 3 other ladies on our table who were the nicest people you could meet. The food provided was exceptional, not to mention the delicious desert, there was a lady Tracy working with each table ensuring everyone received their meals on time. In addition, the venue was well set out with plenty of room throughout and also accommodated easy access for disabled persons. We will definitely be returning in 2025!! Finally, a huge shout out for Marlene Shipley (CEO) and staff for delivering a wonderful day to remember even though I lost on the day!! 😊 Mark

Mr Su's Restuarant is a great place to eat. Recently refurnished and the food is fresh and so yummy. Our family's favourite Chinese restaurant. Great staff which are friendly and accommodating.

Went to line dancing class. Stopped at the coffee shop and had a Turkish bread salad, cheese and chicken. Beautiful

I've been here a couple of times for dinner. It gets busy around 6:30pm ish. It has decent food and the place is clean.

I went to the bandy after many years of not going - and I have to say I was extremely impressed with the club. The meals were huge and really nice, and my hubby and I ate dinner for 36 dollars and walked out full. It's a clean, lovely club, and I highly recommend it! The staff are lovely, and a big shout out to Ann on the main counter—she is a great ambassador for the club, extremely helpful and very proud of her club- very impressed!

Show was amazing & the booking agent at the Band Club went above and beyond to fix an error with ticketing but the restaurant was a big let down run by a bunch of incompetent ladies who had no idea what they were doing and it took 57 minutes for 2 bowls of chips after I chased it up three times.

I moved from St Clair 30 years ago to the city and recently moved back to the West. So many club's have changed, but my daughter said The Band Club was a great place to eat and they have the elusive roast of the day. We came on Saturday about 12pm. When I walked in it was beautiful, not like I remembered. The roast price was great, but what I got was awful, this was 1 circle of carrot, a piece of cauliflower the size of a 50 cent piece, 2 small unpeeled potatoes, all buried under 2 slices of beef that was swimming in brown gravy, it took a moment to unearth the vegetables, I asked the lady did you forget the pumpkin, she said they don't make it, I asked for a spoon and bowl to drain the gravy off the food and she was rude. It will be another 30 years before I return.

I've read the reviews, and we'll my experience so far, is great, it's a little slow, but it's a club so, I haven't tried the meals yet, so the rating may change -------------------------‐------------------------------ Well, I've had the fish and chips, and my friend had the roast, and they were pretty good, so to all the nay sayers, it's a good place to go.

What a disappointment. We rang the club to see what time family table restaurant shuts and they proceed to tell us 2.30pm. Drove all the way down go to the punters at about 2.04pm and they said they are closed but yet they were still cooking and then tells us they shut at 2pm. Maybe abit more Communication of what the closing tomes are would be good and sorry but 4 minutes I'm sorry but they should of just said ni worries we will take your order. I work in a hotel and I can tell you now if someone came 4 minutes later we would of taken their order pretty disappointed bandy.

HORRIBLE!!! I ordered a steak , mash , veg with gravy and my partner ordered grilled chicken with veg only. My steak came with chips and salad that had 1 peice of tomato and 1 peice of cucumber. Grilled chicken ! To put it nicely 2 bites were eaten and the rest was left untouched! Veggies were hard , probably microwaved not fresh The food quality is cheap , I don’t need my food to be 5 star but this was a joke ! Absolutely WASTE of $52.00

The menu never changes to the point of when you decide to order something you go up to the counter, only to be rudely and abruptly shown to a sign that says it’s no longer available. The abrupt female at the counter doesn’t even have the courtesy to speak to you when she dumped the sign in your face, The menus are laminated and falling apart. The blackboard hasn’t been cleaned properly in months and it’s hard to read. There is gaps through the menu that things have just been scrubbed out on the blackboard. It’s very rare that I have ever had a decent meal here. The only reason I go is because my father is 94 and feels safe. Quite clearly, the chef needs to change, and the person at the front counter. People with courtesy and imagination. The fact that whenever I go in, there is hardly anyone eating food is a testament to itself.. It’s come to a point now that when my father asked other family members to go and make an excuse that they have to be somewhere else. Yet I see in the reviews regarding the rudeness of the female at the front counter. We will be dealing with it, but nothing is ever done. She still there, and she runs it like she owns the place.. which is another reason. The place is probably quiet, sometimes the way she has spoken to my father. If I was a female, I would slap her across the face. It’s a shame because there is a beautiful team in this club and the outlay of the property is calm and relaxing. Come on guys get your act together it’s not just about the pokies. Although if your food was better, you’d probably have more people in and then playing on them.

Met a friend for lunch today, Worse club meal EVER. We both had the roast turkey. Vegs not cooked, very hard, meat dry. Tried desert, the cheesecake was so dry and old, sent back . Uneatable .

Attended the Christmas Buffet there today. Disorganised is an understatement. One staff member checking tickets. Line up to get in was horrendous. Not enough tables set, staff scrambling, ran out of Bon Bons. Staff touched the cutlery eating ends with bare hands after wiping down table's disgusting. The food was not nice at all. Fried Rice made with frozen mixed vegetables. Desserts were tasteless. Custard was like water. Caesar Salad was like a soup?? Seafood not on ice. Hot dishes not kept warm. Poured into unheated serving dishes. Extremely disappointing will never attend again, and I would advise others not to as well. I wonder how many people will become unwell.
