For anyone expecting a fair, inclusive, and enjoyable night out, Bankstown Sports Club is not the place to go. This venue has a repeated pattern of selectively enforcing rules, profiling guests, and making certain patrons feel unwelcome. Security and staff seem to operate on their own set of unwritten rules, deciding who stays and who goes—not based on actual disruptions, but on their own biases. We've given this venue more than enough chances, but the experience is always the same. The moment you stand out, engage with people, or simply enjoy yourself a little too much, you become a target. On our last visit, a bartender openly admitted that no complaints had been made about us, yet still found it necessary to express her personal disapproval of our presence. Meanwhile, we were actively engaged in conversations with the very people around us—who had no issue whatsoever. So what exactly was the problem? Is it that guests are expected to sit silently and gamble all night instead of actually socializing? Because that’s the only logical conclusion when the only guests singled out are the ones not glued to the machines. The most infuriating part is how this venue weaponizes RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) policies to justify kicking people out—not based on genuine intoxication, but on a completely arbitrary standard. You’re welcome to spend your money, buy drinks, and support the business, but the second staff decide you’ve “had enough,” you’re suddenly an issue. It’s never the other guests deciding this—it’s always the staff. The entire system is a trap. Theyp encourage you to spend, drink, and engage, but at any moment, your night can be cut short under the guise of RSA, not because you’re a danger, not because you’re disrupting anyone, but because they’ve decided you don’t belong. This isn’t an isolated incident—it happens every single time. We’ve been followed by security, singled out by staff, and held to different standards than other guests. The message is clear: some people are welcome here, and others are tolerated until they’re not. If you believe in equal treatment, fair service, and the right to enjoy a night out without being unfairly targeted, then this venue is not for you. 2025 should not be a year where these exclusionary tactics are still happening—but at Bankstown Sports Club, they clearly are. Steer clear.

Absolutley disgusting bacon and egg roll from the cafe, burnt eggs burnt bread and old bacon.

An amazing club! Well done to the CEO and board of directors for providing this fantastic facility! Great entertainment, great food, great experience!

Pretty good for a club. Provides a diverse range of entertainment from kids playground to gambling. Also a nice range of indoor restaurants and bars.

Great atmosphere, live music, multiple restaurants as well as bistro, multiple bars as well as self brewed beer on-site.

I was really happy with my breakfast at Bankstown Sports Club. I had the avacardo smash while my friend ordered a Chicken Sandwich dish. Service was good and the coffee delicious!

A resort experience. Middle of Sydney and this place has nailed it. Honestly, for a weekend away you don't have to leave. So very pleasantly surprised.

Damn this place is big

Food was great

Best local place to watch UFC. Down stairs is amazing with so many TV screens and even all the booths each having a private screen. This place is 24/7 and they even show fights that are on at 6am

A lot of restaurants to choose from

There is signing for entry. So, if you forget your ID and want to go to the hair salon forget it.

Best place to visit Monkey Mania with grandkids rain, hail or shine. Plenty venues for lunch and dinner.

Enjoyed Taco Tuesday with family.

Bankstown Sports Club is an outstanding venue offering something for everyone. The atmosphere is vibrant, with beautifully designed interiors and a great selection of dining options. The food was delicious, and the service was attentive and friendly. The variety of entertainment options, from live shows to the kid-friendly play areas, makes it perfect for a family outing or a night out with friends. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and enjoyable experience in the area!

Middle class family time

These places are only designed to take your money and rob you.stay away from these premesis.especially the pokies they are all been tampered to make you loose.dont be stupid go spend your money on small bussineses and something more enjoyable.

Huge place with many attractions. Quite well done with the eating venues

Lovely atmosphere, super friendly staff, easy and free parking, good coffee and food.

This review is for the overbearing lady at the reception on Sunday, 27 Jan 2025 around 12pm at G level the entrance next to the lift getting up from the car park (there’s only one staff on that area around that time). She would have been more helpful if at first instance she just showed me how to sign in manually when my digital license would not work to sign in to a venue. I asked her if there is another way, instead she kept telling me that I need to keep refreshing the app and even got me to reboot my phone. It still wouldn’t work in the end and only right there she had to show me how to sign in manually. But then I was already upset, and the whole experience became unpleasant. I ended up not getting in the venue. She sounded like all high and mighty to me who is superior at what’s she’s doing. The overbearing way she kept telling me “you need to refresh your phone, refresh it until it works…” was not very helpful, and “make sure it’s working next time you come here…” is not commendable. She could have just simply assisted me to enter my details manually straight away when I first asked her if there was another way to sign in, Or maybe even after my first try to refresh the app would be better. Then, this very unpleasant experience would not have happened. :( But it’s like she wouldn’t believe me when I said it’s not working and kept telling me to try until it’s working as if there’s no other way to sign me in. I hope that the Manager will look into this to avoid similar incident in the future. Update: 2 Feb 2025. Just to share my experience at Dooleys Club at Lidcombe when unfortunately the app on my iPhone was still not working to sign me in. No fuzz with the receptionist getting my details and entering it manually after I said I also didn’t have then my physical drivers license. No overbearing attitude like that lady in your Club.

Awesome array of places to eat, wonderful rooftop bar and plenty of gaming areas.

Went for a birthday party at monkey mania, free parking & lovely facilities inside the club. Good place with lots of dining options. Highly recommend.

Love this place Meals were good Coffee very good

Great place to enjoy your coffee with some relaxing music 🌹Moreover, nice restaurants some of them serving halal food like al aseel restaurant ❤️

Came into Bankstown Sports Club with friends for lunch, and I was impressed by its layout. The club features a variety of restaurants, cafes and eateries, along with children's entertainment and a men's barber. There’s plenty of seating and a massive area to catch a game. However, I wish most restaurants didn’t stop serving around 2:30-3pm, as it left us with no option but to head outside when we really wanted to dine at the club. We initially wanted yum cha, but it closed at 2:30pm. Then we considered Lebanese, which also closed at 3pm. On a positive note, there were plenty of parking spots available. We had some drinks at the club, had lunch outside, and then returned for another drink afterwards. Overall, everything else was fantastic, including the service.

A great place to hang out with friends! It offers a variety of seating areas with unique designs, so everyone can find a spot they like. You can enjoy food from different cuisines and meet in the middle to share. • Open 24/7. • Coffee is available Sunday to Thursday until 9 PM, and on Friday and Saturday until midnight. • Live music on Friday and Saturday nights. It’s clean, family-friendly, and well-organized. The atmosphere is quieter from Sunday to Thursday, while Friday and Saturday nights are livelier. Highly recommended!

Awesome place to be

Amazing and affordable place

The sports club in Sydney. Wide range of restaurants for dinner/desert, massive kids play areas and great chill out areas.👌

Large club with so much to do from a barber to kids entertainment and then a brewhouse downstairs there is somthing for everyone and I find that the staff is very fast and efficient

Great place happy hour between 4-6 weekdays wings burger or chicken burger during happy hour 10 dollars pint of beer 8 bucks taco Tuesday in the afternoon great flavours wings Wednesday afternoon 1 kg of wings 2 middies of beer 20 bucks what a bargain great beer come with ur friends won’t be disappointed

Great place. First time. It was quite and peaceful

Cornerstone cafe was nice.Signing in on the app was time consuming, notably the date of birth drop down box.

Bistro terrible food $28 for a salad worth $5 terrible service no air con on 36° day Will never return

I am very disappointed with the way some of the staff at the club treat their customers. An incident happening before , one of the staff was rude to a customer inside the gaming area and an incident happened to me at the entry of the club, The staff member didn’t believe that I scanned myself in and so rudely asked me to sign in again, even though i swiped the card right in front of her eyes.

Excellent place for social function, eating and chatting. Lots of parking, though a bit full most of the time. Very spectacular decoration in the entrance and each dining spot.

مكان جميل

The security guards (Vesna and Maurice) at the front entrance are very rude especially to the elderly asian. I have never experienced such an unpleasant and unprofessional entering in and out of the club during our stay. Will never stay here again!

The best club by far in the district of Canterbury Bankstown . Excellent Bars Friendly staff Ample parking Great selection of Food

Applies to security guard Maurice who has 0 customer service experience and HAS ZERO basic company knowledge to explain as to why their are policies in place but instead kicked us out, don't hire or retrain these inexperienced, rude guards who don’t understand how basic customer service policy and knowledge its unprofessional and your security guard company who you hire are super unprofessional, they come around intimidating and scaring away potential customers explains why you have low returning customers. I am also going forward with sharing my complaints about this security guard to your head office department. This guard does not deserve a job he cant sufficiently sustain.
