Nice place departmental store

This store is usually not bad however this year they were not ready for the Christmas rush. Click & collect orders were so far behind that by the time they get to pack them they are out of stock and also says products available instore but actually not. The store overall was sooo messy, like a huge chaotic mess. Stock trolleys, boxes, rubbish everywhere. Staff were hard to recognise, no set uniforms & no helping people, plus there was clearly not enough staff rostered on particularly for 24th December, which would be their busiest day. Three people (two were newbies) on the checkouts plus a massive line up. They also don't do ZipMoney instore only ZipPay, and had no customer trolleys available.

Awsome range but a bit hard to find help from staff.

Parking is easy, plenty of boutiques and Jewelry and variety stores. Has large food court at both ends and coffe shop on the way between.

Nice place for shopping

Trying to find out if product available and the only way I could find to do this First I had to give my full name email address. I’m sure to collect. Of personal info or making you get app. Is not necessary. When all I needed to know if the Penrith store had any fans. Rang Kmart Penrith Love lady answered very quickly and with in 3 minutes found out what needed to know. Thank you Kmart please don’t change. Shame on you big w

This Big W didn't have the particular mobile phone that I wanted in stock but the very helpful staff member located it in the Richmond Big W. Very helpful.

Online orders always refunded 3 days later. My whole order of several items not in stock this is an ongoing issue, I will shop elsewhere.l, someone isn't doing there job.

This is a really good Big W it's usually always clean and tidy, easy to find things and always great helpful customer service

It’s a pain to shop in when you don’t know any of the prices, most items aren’t labeled because stock gets moved around all the time. And most of the price check points are broken so your walking from one side of the store to the other checking prices

Black friday, says open until 10pm on google and big w website but it's closed for the night. Someone didn't get the memo (This was at 8pm, closed 2 hours early)

It is a good shop, with good help, if we get confused, where things are which we want. Good place to buy stuff for kids & even for elders. Plus, you can get photos printed online too.

Thanks to Leo and Jenny who helped us out with putting through mulitple gift cards. There was an IT issue and they took their time to help and ensure we got the correct promoted discount on the giftcards.

Friendly staff

To be honest, this doesn’t even deserve a one star. I’ve had the worst experience here twice. I was just buying a bike and looking around the section, and the staff was looking at me and my boyfriend up and down. Then we needed a bit of help to get the bike in the trolley but there was no staffs around, when I did get a staff they were so rude and spoke in a monotone like they did not care. My other experience was when my friend and I were in the makeup section looking at pallets. We were testing a tester that was already opened because it’s a tester, and this lady kept staring at us like we did something wrong. She walks up to us and says “Oi! Did you just open that?” And told us we had to pay for it when it’s literally a tester. When we told her it’s a tester she got all grumpy and walked away mumbling something under her breath. While these other teenage girls were there and she didn’t do anything about them. Just so your information I am Chinese and feel like I have been attacked with racism and I am not okay with this. As someone who works with customers this is not how you treat them. I will never be coming back, I’d rather go to the Kmart down the street thank you. I hope you guys get better staffs and customer service.

I was actually quite disgusted on Rememberance Day..the speech was done over the loud speaker and then 1 minute of silence. With blaring music from the radio. The lack of respect was disgraceful. How hard would it have been to turn the music off during the 1 minute of silence. Very disrespectful.. 😡😡😡

They have a good variety, but everytime I go in there it feels like there is something missing, as if what you're looking for isn't quite there. Maybe that reflects on their range selection more than anything else, not sure. Staff are usually great and ready to help which is always a bonus

Have not shopped at the Plaza in a while. Enjoyed my experience once again, esp the addition of new eateries etc. Always a pleasure...service at Williams shoe store & Big W were extremely pleasant transactions. Keep up the great work.

My experience at this store was appalling, began searching for some clothes and was treated terribly by the managers as if I was not a human. Will never be visiting this store again. If you are looking for cheap stuff go elsewhere as you will not be treated properly or have the option to refund your items without basically being interrogated. The store is also very messy and looks like a dump the few times i have visited. Staff are hard to find as there is either not enough or don't want to help. Very bad store just got to Kmart instead 💀💀💀

This store is an absolute disaster. The fitting rooms look like a textile factory exploded, there is never anyone to clean them, monitor theft or put clothes away, it’s a disgrace, when I have mentioned it to staff they say they do not have enough staff , they would have if they were given the budget. Good luck, finding a staff member, you can’t tell a staff member from a customer if you should need help, they do not have a uniform, is the company doing so poorly that they do not provide one? Today there was a skateboard sticking out on the floor. I watched a staff member walk past it, I picked it up and put it up on a clothes rack out of the way. As usual, there was stuff everywhere , toys in alleyways on the floor, pet accessories, all over the place in the pet section a microwave on the floor, for someone to trip over the clothing tables were like a jumble sale, My local thrift shop has more pride & organisation skills run by volunteers, selling secondhand items, than Big W at Penrith. If I could give them less than one star, I would give them a -10. I took some photos but this does not give me the option to upload with my review. What management ? Good service from the staff, but some of the products were cheap and nasty,the service has got worse

I certainly buy a lot of stuff from Big W

Came here with my friend and it was super empty, only person you could see was a lady that was a whole section away. My friend was just holding a hula hoop because she had to buy one for her little sister and this short chubby worker with black hair started getting mad at us and yelling to put it away because ‘there was parents and children’ around that were actually trying to buy something and that one of the other workers already told us to put it away when the only worker who came near us was just walking past us. Don’t come here if you’re a teenager just trying to buy something cause these rude workers won’t treat you like a human being.

Great store for most things but the ladies change room is nasty! There were two vacant cubicles. First one full to the brim of clothes including on the floor (while placement rack outside the cubicles had tons of space!) The one I used, had a few clothes in there, including a plastic drink cup on the floor with drink still in it. It leads to a very unpleasant experience.

The store looks dishevelled, stacked clothing in piles, not folded or in any order. Couldn't search through the clothing was in a mess. Went to Best and Less instead.
