Awesome to see blackbear have a new home.

Good location. Good service at front counter for drinks. Ordered two mains for dinner, chicken schnitzel and Diane sauce, and brisket box. Schnitzel was paper thin and the sauce tasted watery and fruity nothing like a Diane should. Brisket was reheated and tough.

we normally go to the other pubs but thought we try here. well i was disappointed. no decent beers, dull quiet atmosphere, in fact there was no atmosphere. the brisket nachos had hardly any brisket on it, loaded with guoc and sour cream which over shadowed the entire meal. the Snitzel was tiny and the pepper sauce tasted like they mixed pinoclean with it. horrible. really was a basic low end pub. try others. Ive declined to email contact them as requested as I will never be back to this joint.

Staff are fantastic , friendly and helpful, drink's are really good and food is very nice. Very clean premises.

X 3 of us went for a ride to have a nice lunch ..the menu looked nice... But when we got there ... We found out that the kitchen WAS CLOSED!... TODAY.... Not impressed.. so we went to the opposition instead... Why didn't they put up a NOTICE on their website?????

Took the family here for dinner. The food was great and the steak was perfect! Also the staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way for us. Definitely recommend.

Worst pub feed I’ve over had!!

Amazing staff and owner. Very friendly

Stopped in Saturday afternoon 13/08. Had the best wedges we've had in a long time. Fresh. Hot. Crispy. And the sweet chilli sauce was just the right kick with the sour cream. Lovely girl behind the bar treated us nice on our first ever visit. And the kitchen staff were ever so lovely. We'll definitely be back!

Trivia on Wednesday well worth it

My partner and I stopped in here with our dogs for a quick drink whilst travelling. The staff were friendly, and the beef brisket nachos we shared were fabulous! The lady chef who made them deserves a pay rise! ❤️👏

Clean, nice staff. Only problen is the chicken snitz iz not chicken breast, but processed chicken. And scotch fillet steak is not. For price i payed the food quality was poor. Retired food critic, but reviews still can catch you guys out. Get genuine freash produce.

Great pub, clean and neat , hygienic, freindly and great food

Been going to this pub for more then 10 years. Food not as nice as before. Chicken Parmi was burnt, did not enjoy lunch today.

We were treated rudely upon entry. My friend had a empty drink that he wanted to chuck into the bin. We tried to explain to the bouncer that it was a empty drink can that was left on the street and we were to dispose of it, but he saw this as a “open” drink and refused us entry. We feel like the bouncer used power to drive us away from the venue and bared us for 24 hours. We were previously paying customers and had no issues.

This is a terrible establishment Friends of mine were in the pub for no more than an hour, had a couple of drinks before security staff forcibly removed them from the pub for absolutely no reason Incredible poor...extremely disappointed with the handling of the situation Clear display of security staff having power going to their heads Will never go back to the Fitzroy which is incredibly disappointing

Amazing staff, really polite and welcoming. Great atmosphere for Friday night drinks or even a Sunday sesh. Loving the new DJs especially DJ WYC :) You pump some awesome tunes. Safe friendly environment. Thank you!

Nice food and great prices on alcohol, large variety of liquor and welcoming staff. Nice to see the place all cleaned up with new management, staff and security team. Provided a safe environment for myself and clients for our work event and will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere with awesome entertainment, always a great night when they have DJ Wy on the tables. Staff and security all very friendly and do a great job keeping everyone safe.

The deck out the back is great and the stuff is friendly. The food is okay, but could be better.

The lamb cutlets my partner and I had for lunch on the public holiday Monday were sooo delicious. Best we've had for ages. The guy behind the bar needs a lesson in Customer service tho. So took a star off for that, sorry.

Dirtiest most run down dog of a pub i've ever been in. Food was even worse $40 for a chicken breast and steak sandwich with no dressing on the salad.

Pretty rude barman on a Sunday. He ignored my hello and the only thing he said in the exchange of money for alcohol was, change and dropped the coins in my hand. I really felt like I was disturbing him from his talking to the locals. Lingere waitress on Friday. That says it all.

A nice old pub but the food on the weekend is terrible ceaser salad was greasy and leaves old couldn't even see the chicken in it and it was very small and it tasted disgusting only a size for a child the steak with salad n chips was not much better not worth the price they charge wont be going back untill they get a good cook staff are nice n bar staff are great

Reasonably priced for dinner. Nice food. No complaints.

Ordered two meals and both had hair in them. My schnitzel burger had a small bug in it that looked like it may have been a baby cockroach. Bar staff were rude and drinks overpriced. The only positive is the dog friendly back deck which made eating at this dirty old pub bearable.

Nice old pub, never busy, why? Who knows, for the sake of Windsor and the owners I hope it becomes recognized as a part of Windsor history.
