Fantastic food, great outlook from the dining area. It's definitely a top place for lunch.

Basic club. Has nice food and the service is always good. Poker on Sunday nights is fun. Good place to relax.

Fantastic architecture on and around the greens bunkers could use a bit more sand, but given the weather, it was pretty excusable. Food in the clubhouse was fantastic.

High quality course. Comparable to Riverside Oaks and Stonecutters. Fairways are immaculate and greens in excellent condition.Layout is friendly though strategically positioned bunkers and deep rough make it challenging at times. First time playing there. Will definitely come back. Staff at pro shop were friendly.

You call the pro shop and it’s almost like pulling teeth trying to make a booking to play, I tried to book in recently and referred to book online as they get too many calls. It just seemed like he didn’t want to do anything. He ended up booking it for me but he really didn’t want to. I played there end of last year and the member seem just as rude as the staff with course etiquette. Wouldn’t recommend to people. Much nicer courses around where people aren’t rude

Love the place, quiet, peaceful, and great meals and well price drinks.

Lakeside clubhouse food has some mixed reviews. They offer some really good weekly specials at very affordable prices between Monday to Thursdays. If you’re a member of the club you get a decent discount off food, while visitors pay an extra $7 or so (no brainer to become a member). To join simply purchase the 5 years membership for $20 and you’ll be credited back $20 to spend immediately on your next meal or drinks. In my opinion, lakeside isn’t as nice as the gledswood hill country club, the new Sherwood or the wests at Campbelltown. There’s not a lot to do at the clubhouse besides eating & drinking, not even a kids section (quite boring for kids actually). The dining area is quite noisy and there aren’t any quiet areas. The menu is no different to any other club offering your typical steaks, schnitzels, seafood, fish & chips, salads, pizza & pastas. Some of the dishes were presented nicely while some look like they couldn’t be bothered. Please do not order the pizzas it’s probably their worst dish on the menu which taste atrocious! If you’re looking for a good pub in the area with good vibe, food, drinks & entertainment for the whole family? Go to gledswood hill country club or Willowdale hotel.

Beautiful place to relax

The atmosphere is really nice. It wasn’t too noisy which is a plus for a club. However, the staff are rude and the food was disappointing. The ribs are so tough. We only ate a couple of them. The chicken in the chicken scallopine was heavily seasoned in some kind of spice. It was inedible. The only things that we enjoyed were the chips and garlic bread. Doubt we will be coming back here.

This is my golf club, so I eat here a lot! The golf course is excellent and the majority of the staff are sensational however the consistency of the food is seriously below average! When you provide feedback (which Wests apparently value your feedback) you generally do not hear back from them or if in person it is generally not handled particularly well. Tonight, the steak sandwich which is usually pretty good was more like a steak bite! Totally disappointed…. again! Oh and before you send me back your generic response of “Thanks for your feedback Donna, we do hope to welcome you again soon for a more positive experience which is always our intent”, (probably not a good idea to throw salt in an open wound) perhaps personalise your responses if you really do care and implement changes!

Could not fault the whole experience at Lakeside for a recent birthday gathering. From the booking to the service for drinks and food, everything was professional and friendly.

My lunch came out with hair on it and then the cup of tea I was given, the actual cup still had lipstick on it. When they replaced that tea cup, I still couldn't drink it because there was thick grime on that one.

Food and service good as always

이곳은 말이 필요없는곳 입니다. 전체적으로 관리가 잘된 아주아주 너무 좋은 골프장입니다. 시드니에 골프여행을 온다면 한번은 꼭 가야할 곳입니다. PaPaGo. This is a place where no words are needed. It's a very, very, very good golf course with good overall management. If you come to Sydney for a golf trip, it is a must-go place.

What a charming place! I went to meet some friends for dinner and was delightfully surprised. The atmosphere was welcoming. The seating was comfy, and the dining room spacious. The concierge greeted us with a happy smile and was helpful. Shhhh, even the toilets were clean and user-friendly.

great course & club house, shame that golf membership is closed off

We really enjoy the ambience of the club, however the menu is poor and needs to be changed more frequently.

Was invited by friends for dinner and had the worst experience. We ordered our food right after our friends. Their food came out fairly quickly, 10mins. People who ordered who were 2 and 3 groups behind us were receiving their food and we still had not recieved ours. When we asked Mark the On Duty Manager about it he was not helpful and there was just a total lack of accountability and basically no answer as to why our food took so long. Do not recommend this place at all.

Nice club. Two for one meals on Tuesdays, which is great value. Has a country town feel to it, which is nice. Has retained its character over the decades.

easy to access, good available parking, great service and very tasty food. A great meal in comfort with family.

Food was exceptional

Part of the wests group, new updated facility, very open design. Food is generally good and reasonably priced, normally quite, no need to book a table or anything. Will be better once they finish the parking updates. They hold raffles, ham, toy ones and others all seasonal and changing. Also poker a few nights a week as well run by APL.

To be fair it was a busy night as the meat raffles where on so everything was a bit longer than normal, but the staff did there best, so we'll done

Emma on the front reception was awesome welcomed me with a smile. Chandra at the bar was great and the lady in the red outfit was awesome putting the tennis on for me and being a great manager. Emma later on set me up as a member of the club too.

Excellent Christmas day lunch experience

Shocking. Ordered the chicken supreme (roast chicken) and I got a tiny little pigeon breast. I enquired if it was correct and they assured me it was normal however they added more veggies as the whole meal was a bit small. No chilli salsa either. They also asked if I started to eat the meal, when I said no they asked where was the bone 😂 like I had eaten it. Not a good experience. Stick with the larger clubs.

Absolutely brilliant great food and friendly staff

A really lovely course with beautiful clubhouse and member facilities. There is a lot of landscaping work being done on the area around the clubhouse surrounds and I'm looking forward to going back when it is finished.

Beautiful public golf course! Winner of the 2019 metropolitan golf club of the year! Very well maintained and great club house. You would think it’s a private course!

Sensational golf course.

My wife and I just had our wedding here last night and WOW was it amazing and so much more then we expected. Let’s start right from the beginning, we met Karina and she showed us the venue and all the inclusions and we both fell in love with the venue but also with Karina, she was so organised and prepared and any questions we had she answered straight away and she was just so genuine, my wife and I walked out the doors, had a quick chat, turned around and signed the papers to book straight away. From that point till the very end of our reception, not only was the venue amazing but Karina really went above and beyond our expectations and made everything so special and easy. She was always accomodating to us with our many annoying emails during the planning. We had a fantastic night all thanks to Karina and the venue staff. Could not recommend Karina and Lakeside Gold Club enough, you will not be left disappointed
