Wonderful decor, friendliness and hospitality. The only downside was the stale and rubbery cheesecake that was served with my coffee.
Always been a great place customer service has always been great, And the food is always good Has to be the best watering hole" in all of Penrith"
A little place but a nice place. Great fish!

Average club. Good greens. Bistro is very good. Drink prices are quite reasonable. Recommended.
Lovely people. Great food had lunch. Well priced and cooked. Comfy chairs
I recently had my wife's wake here and from the first phone call it was very easy to organise, I dealt with Brett and nothing was a problem. To Brett and staff you all made a very hard day for myself and family a little easier
Staff very nice and helpful.
went here before a Penrith game and it was pretty good. pub food’s great. staffs are nice and accommodating. they also have your usual meat raffle and footy’s on the big screen with sounds! 😊
Comfy club relaxed atmosphere.
Nice greens, comfortable club house
Nice little club great food
If you have a drink don't dare have a laugh or good time..you'll be asked to leave..won't be back..
Friendly atmosphere and awesome food. I must for locals.
Easy going stuff members and service great food and drinks events and lawn bowling
I visited this venue for an event and found the room to be on the smaller side. The food was satisfactory, although there's not much more to elaborate on.
Me and my wife had our pre-wedding reception here and we were blown away. From the moment we arrived on the day, the staff were absolutely incredible. All the entrees, mains and platters were made so well. All 40 people loved their food. The bartenders were the friendliest most welcoming people to all of our guests. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Whether you're considering coming here for lunch or planning a function, you can put your faith in this place. 10/10 all round.
We have started coming recently on a Friday night but the quality of food is very poor. It’s hard to find something on the menu that’s tasty. Consistency is not there. Really want to support our local club but not excited to eat the food. Time to hire a new chef, a f the food was good would be so much nicer to come here.
My band played at this venue on NYE & had a blast, great venue , people & the staff were great , we’d love to come back in the future to play again
Good club lunch. Friendly.
Very clean good food friendly staff @ helpful @ caring
This is Peter, the bass player from the Sloth band. We had a fantastic time playing for the Penrith Bowlo crowd this New Years Eve. Great bunch of people who like their Rock n Roll. Hopefully we can come back and play again soon!
It's a great place to go. Membership for $5. Roll up bistros food was great. Tried their silverside and it was delicious. My partner had the rissoles and she loved them. The Friday raffles are a big hit as well
$70 to hire a massive function room (60 plus) with comfy chairs, plenty of tables, a pull down video screen and projection system. Excellent audio system and access to a really lovely Bistro meal with efficient friendly service and a lovely well priced bar. If you have a party, this is a place to go. I had a lovely fish meal and lovely calamari which wasn't rubbery at all. It was really tasty. I highly recommend this place
We had a couple of drinks here a very nice club 😊
i am updating, very disappointed tonight went to have another great feed you can read below not sure if they have let the amazing chef go, but the food tonight was disgraceful i ordered a steak a veg and mash. the veg was 4 string dead beans 2 small wedges of dryer carrot and broccoli that was boiled to death, i haven’t mentioned the meat i ordered medium rare and my partner medium and mine was absolutely rare i don’t mind rare but this was so hard to even cut it was that rare i couldn’t complain my partner was embarrassed. so we tried our best to eat and then leave asap even with a special and $4 off a drink i wasn’t going to spend one more dollar there, sorry reviews update is not good so it must have been a good day when i first ate here i should’ve gone to cole’s and cooked for myself 100,000 times better than this. photo attached was a distant memory too embarrassed to take a photo of the grub that was served to me tonight my last review…. well i have found my favourite spot hard to chose from the bistro meals so i asked the staff they said yes try the beef cheek and i did now the vegetables were so perfectly cooked and seasoned i then nearly not finished my beef cheeks i was so satisfied and giggling with enjoyment as the food was so tasty beater than i’ve had at some of the pricy restaurants in sydney i won’t mention names. my partners scorch fillet was so tender smokey bbq flavoured and chips and salad well seasoned. i’ll be back to it night for dinner for now the lamb shanks and ribs.
Great place
One of the best small clubs in Penrith. Reasonable priced food and beer. Lot of clubs could learn from them.
Had the best 50th birthday celebrations ever. Location was great, food was awesome, we had the premium bbq buffet so worth it, and the staff were so easy to communicate with and so very helpful. I highly recommend this place for your next special celebrations
Great food and service. Bare foot bowls is fantastic too.
Awesome food, awesome environment
Been a member for over 20years .. love it
Steak Night, on Tuesdays, and it was fabulous, nice and tender, and cooked perfectly. I'll do it again
Made feel very welcome for the Zone 5 play-offs.
Great food and friendly staff
Place is a dive , it’s Sunday at lunchtime only 8people in the place , its smells and the gaming Machines are old and greedy lol 😂
Good food and staff. Good selection of beverages. Reasonable price.
Today the tastiest lambs fry with fresh vegetable & mash. Thick gravy. Real food. The other meals were raved about. Baked dinner melted in your mouth it was so tender. Crisp salad & grilled fish brilliant. Easy parking no steps.
Food at lunch was average. Price was OK but not fantastic
The Penrith Bowling Club is a pleasant club. The food, the staff and the atmosphere is good.
Great place
Value for money, great service, good quality steak cooked how you ask the first time, how it should be.
Always good, quiet & good food. Change of chef yet again
Had our Christmas work lunch here. Great atmosphere, food was lovely and staff friendly. Will definitely be back!
Lovely staff, food was delicious and barefoot bowls was lots of fun
I’ve never been so disgusted with the approach to customer service by a venue in my life or the years that I’ve worked in the hospitality industry. The food was excellent but the lack of polite customer service from the older lady behind the bar ruined the experience for my self and family. Not wanting to be discriminated against further, we left and will not be attending the Penrith Bowlo a second time.
Great club friendly staff. Great place to learn bowls, coaching on Saturday.
Cold beer. Food was great. Try the pasta.
High Quality Food and reasonably priced. Best Coffee in Penrith. Nice friendly club.
Nice friendly little club. Staff actually appeared working there, bar and bistro service on the night we attended was first class.
Booked our work Xmas function here. 100ppl or so. Secured a private room, table setting and the like was all fine. We we commenced our function at 1pm. Staff informed us that entrees would commence being served at 120pm. The entrees arrived at 2pm. At time of writing it is now 325pm and the first mains are only arriving now. Avoid having your function here if you have more than 20 people is my advice because management here simply have not got the skills to cater for scale. If they did, there would have been more staff or better communication at a minimum.
Good food , good service
Will never eat there again, the food was terrible
Service and food at the bistro is a bit hit and miss in my experience. Ordering individual meals off the menu is better for a group than the set menu. The set menu is very average and not very adaptable to dietary requirements. Staff at the bar are always welcoming and professional. Waiters at the bistro often very slow and a bit judgemental. Used to be 100x better pre-Covid.
We attended on Wednesday club was definitely not busy, waited 45 minutes for our meals which was the Wednesday special Barramundi and Fettuccine Boscaiola pasta. When asked about the wait we were told we are busy tonight, my reply was the two people that order after us have received their meals and really there are empty tables. I was told it will be another 4 minutes, and it was. Fish was dry, over cooked like rubber, pasta was definitely not fresh enough pasta and was very watery. It was probably one of the worst meals I have had in Penrith in a long time. Would hate to be there when they are busy, definitely will not be back again. The only reason the bistro section got a star was because of the lovely young girl at the frontier counter, she was very lovely. This is my opinion.
Went there on Monday night for dinner LOVED IT We ended up staying and having dessert as well. See you soon
Great Bar staff and kitchen
Went for dinner with friends, great atmosphere, good food with good portions
Great place for a nice dinner
Fantastic food
Food is great but service leaves a lot to be desired. We all order our meals at the same time but they come out in dribs & drabs. Some people are finishing before the rest even get theirs.
Popped down as a visiting bowler. Great facilities and friendly people. I will be heading back.
One of the best Parma I've ever had.
Meal sizes ans taste are bang for buck"."
We had a surprise party there, the food & venue was 100% impressive. Definitely a great place to visit.
Great staff made to feel very welcome. Food was great. A good place to relax.
Great bistro. Good food and excellent service.
Friendly Club with great service.
Good food with new catering provider, absolutely terrible wine glasses. Wine glasses are from the 60's, they are too small and filled nearly to the brink. I wouldn't drink wine from them as whilst you can taste the wine you cannot smell it which is important.
