Great lake, fun walk! 😃 I'll definitely come here again soon! My family and I did go fishing but we didn't catch anything, but to be honest, we are NOT good at fishing. Highly recommend!

Food is expensive and average. Fish and chips very poor quality. Nasi Goreng quite good. Very limited choices for vegetarian and vegans.

I think I just put the same review with some adjustments as I did for Great River Walk where Nepean Rowing club is in it. I work in Jamisontown, Penrith, and often visit the Great River Walk which also Nepean Rowing is in there, me at least once or twice a week. It’s a fantastic place to unwind after work or even during the day. The views are stunning, and there are so many beautiful spots perfect for capturing photos with family or just taking in the scenery. I love grabbing some snacks and energy drinks before my walk, and it’s always a pleasure to stroll along the river. The locals here are incredibly friendly, and you’ll often see them smiling and greeting you along the way. It’s such a welcoming atmosphere. As sometimes the price in the Rowing club is a bit expensive so I grab my own one. From the Club if you walk a bit further as I took the video—There are plenty of great benches and spaces to sit down and relax with family, and the paths are well-maintained. Whether you’re here for exercise, photography, or simply a peaceful outing, this spot has it all. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Penrith!

Its a nice club, we usually go there every Thursday night, but the meals aren't as good as they used to be.

Great birthday dinner here.

Went their for a babyshower. Had two burgers and chips, for $55!!! glass of coke was $6! didnt end here. Later that night pains in my stomach cramping pains. I dont want to mentioned what happened next but it was a long night in the bathroom.

Fantastic views and meals

Nice club. Great view over river. Good menu, food, price. Comfortable inside and outside. Fairly easy to avoid the gambling dens and having sport pushed down our throats, so nice.

for the first time ever i couldnt eat my meal today the satay chicken had so much curry or chillis through it it burnt my mouth and both my parents who eat spicey food said it was repulsive and over cooked.. dad lamd shanks were tasteless overcooked and tough to eat. < no wonder they were on the specials menu > but for $30.00 they should have been allot better... the garlic bread was dry and basic not enough garlic.. a lemon lime and bitters is $6.50 considering i buy them everywhere i go thats too much... i will never go back ... $98.00 wasted

I love the club and the staff but one thing I think is pathetic is you have to pay 50c for a take away container if you can’t finish your meal. I just spent $45 on one meal and didn’t have any change and the senior male bistro staff member asked me to tap my card for 50c. He said they are counted and accounted for and he would get in to trouble for giving one away. What happened to good will- I’m a regular customer. Unbelievable - makes me not want to patronize this eatery.

Went for lunch with my husband today and totally enjoyed my Lamb-shank menu choice. Feeling like desert I went and ordered the Strawberry Panna Cotta it was beautifully presented and the flavours of all the elements of this dessert were divine and had a harmonious balance. The strawberry ice cream was to die for. I highly recommend it, the service was great, the food was well priced and a river view, what more can you want. Shirley

Lunch Saturday 27/7/24 Absolutely Terrible 3 over cooked small dry cutlets tasted as if they has been re heated in a micro wave with chips and mixed salad 30.00 ! and extra cost for gravy. CHEF I wouldn't have served these to my dogs. My friend and I were really looking forward to this lunch the only thing that was good was the view.

This is a lovely establishment to visit, especially with family and friends. Friendly enough staff at the checkin counter. There are plenty of areas to sit with a good view of the Nepean River. The food was okay, and beverages were expensive (club price).

Location is great, food is average for a club, service is friendly and reasonably fast, for mine the food is quite overpriced for a club. The entry level steak is $40 for non members from memory. Toilets are hit and miss, could do with a renovation or at least maintain them better.

Overpriced and very disappointing with the MIXED SEAFOOD PLATTER for one. It was more, of a sampling plate. $60 for a single octopus, king prawn, scallop, 3 half scampi & smoked salmon ( that was partially sushi ) and a salad with chips.

The food was average, but it was a busy night, so I don't know if this was a once off or not. Staff were nice, and the drinks were reasonably priced.

Excellent service and food, the Massaman Lamb and Fisherman's Basket both excellent.

Food was great, unfortunately the bar staff had no idea what they were doing. I asked for a large Moscato for my wife. The bar staff said they only can serve a it small portion and would need to check with his supervisor. The problem with this 30 minutes earlier, my wife purchased a large Moscato also as the bar staff telling me they only do small portions. I noticed another bar staff serving another lady with 2 large Moscato. Once I pointed this out to him. I received the large Moscato. I should not have to go through this. They should know their jod.

A dinner with the girls was fun. Friday night has raffles, talented karaoke singers & great food & service. Special thanks to the DM who put some tables together to accommodate our group near the river!!

Rowers is a fantastic spot to have a good feed with great views of the Nepean River. Compared to other places located by the river, Nepean Rowing Club has exceptional value for money. Certain days also have meat try raffles and other events. Also options for Keno and Pokies in the corner.

This place was really good and I would frequent for a great meal. The service is great, the food is average. The chicken was once succulent, now is flat and looks processed. The menu needs serious work. Been a member for years, maybe time to look elsewhere. Quite a shame really

Visited recently for a function. Great spot, plenty of parking. Enjoyed being in a lovely old build, not too big. Food reasonable

Great spot but meals expensive

Very disappointed with the food quality, ordered salt and pepper squid only to be told they were out. They could replace it with salt and pepper calamari instead? It was McCains frozen calamari at best out of a box. 6 oil soaked pieces for $14? The burger was ordinary at best and the wife’s fish tasteless. Great outdoor area to sit and enjoy a few beers ( stone and wood) very nice on tap. Friendly staff.

The meal was great , but very disappointed i ordered prawns for the table's but the chef didn't know anything about it. Maybe head office should talk with the chef more often.

Looked after my family in a very difficult time thankyou. We came for a wake and they did not disappoint.

Great river views. Initial outside seating (park type) allocated very uncomfortable. Got moved to better seeting. Unfortunately our mains arrived 5 minutes after our entrees and our steaks were stone cold by the time we finished our entrees. Spoke with the chef. All I got was we are busy". Got free dessert. Not good enough."
