Clean the toilets. I know it probably a centre management thing. But you need to atleast let them know how filthy they always are.

Open 24hrs a day every day. As someone from the mainland of Australia, this is a first and wish all Kmarts stayed open all the time. So cool!

Worst store in the world if you're after Pokemon cards. The staff lie about what they have in the stock room as the only way to buy the bulkier items is from the Service Desk at the back of the store. Website clearly shows items are in stock but EVERY single time I've tried to buy anything it's amazingly out of stock or they can never find it". I recheck the website several times hours after coming home empty handed and it still shows in stock. Even check the day afterwards and site still shows "in stock". Do not waste your time or effort."

Best place to sit in the car writing reviews while I send the kids in shopping ever....

Bad customer service specially from manger, if product is hazard and you buy it and go back to return as hazard for kids they ignore hazard product and not friendly better to go to other place with small amount of more money and you will be satisfied even buy online websites is better then this store

What a dogs breakfast this place is. Dirty and dusty clothes that are supposed to be brand new. Avoid this one and shop elsewhere

I would like to thank & congratulate the young lady & security man on Sunday approx5am. There was a badly behaved couple being very abusive to the staff with racist foul language. The staff members handled the situation very calm & efficiently. They then offered & did walk with me out to my car & make sure the rude offensive couple had left. Well done & thank you ,I am sorry you have to put up with this in your daily job.

Excellent place

Never any stock on the shelves at the New Town store so decided to buy online. Out of the 20+ items ordered and paid for, received a notice that 12 things are unavailable and was refunded. Next day another email saying another 7 items paid for are now unavailable. Why be able to purchase and pay for them to suddenly have to be refunded!! This store online is absolutely rubbish. Buy from Shein online if you want cheap stuff that actually arrives!!

Nice place with a wide variety of reasonably priced items, but the quality of the children's clothing needs improvement.

Very unfriendly and unprofessional staff. Customer service is unheard off in this store. They are never smiling, never greeting and not even acknowledging customers. All this is fine but they are totally unprofessional too. I needed to buy a baggage lock and asked 3-4 staff including service desk and they weren’t able to tell me where I could find it. I had already checked the stock online and it was available in the store. At the same time, I ordered from the same store for pickup and had to come next day to pick up the order. Even next day, the staff wasn’t able to tell me where they found that lock. I wish I had a job like this where all I had to do was sit at a desk and nothing else.

The photo paper here is so high quality. The prints are really cheap as-well. Inexpensive and quick.

I was injured and had to use crutches and as I was walking in the clothes isle there was a bunch of clothes all over the ground and my crutches slipped and I landed on my sore ankle and all the workers were standing there eating and not doing there job and didn’t help.

Thank you for such an amazing team at k mart. I accidentally bought wrong charger cable for my phone and also the Usb plug I bought was faulty both weee returned and exchanged with a lot of friendliness. Also lost my key but the team went out of their way to find it on a busy day. Very grateful for young people being so helpful :)

Poor customer service during the evening. I went to this Kmart after 11pm on Friday to look for a specific bookshelf that was in stock at New Town according to their website. I couldn't find it on the shop floor & had trouble finding anyone to ask until I spotted a young guy who works there. I asked for help to look for it, he couldn't find it or the ticket on the shelf & assumed it had recently arrived, but was on a pallet & refused to double check for me if it's in an easily accessible location in the storeroom. Told me it would be available on Monday, he had no pdt to check & couldn't be bothered trying to look or ask another team member who can be bothered, when I specifically drove there for it. When I got home I used click and collect & got the item the next day; it was ready before 12pm, so it was there when I came in the night before. The bookshelf still wasn't on display even though I received it, so they must just store it in their storeroom & not on the shop floor. I work in customer service & would've at least tried checking the back if it's there, even if it's on a pallet, especially for an expensive item to get the sale. If it's inaccessible under other items on the pallet, I would've let the customer know & apologise for the inconvenience. I would've also found a pdt & searched to see when it last came in & try to find it, but he was just lazy. He cost me two trips to their store when the item was out the back. Plus this guy directed me to the wrong location for another item I asked for, so he had no clue of the store layout. If anyone has to deal with their employees that can't be bothered looking for items, try finding another team member if there's any, save yourself your petrol & time. I'm giving 2 stars though as the lady at the service desk on Saturday was very helpful with my click & collect order & the bookshelf is great.

Went there last week had bigger things in my trolley to scan. no where to put them down nearly dropped one on a customer and the staff just watched. it is such unsafe work practice

In the month of April . I was brought a new bicycle in the kamart store . After one week my bicycle tyre was flat . I was leave my bicycle in the store . After one week passed they give back my bicycle . Just only feel the air . also not any repair. Again , 2 days passed ago , my tyre was again flat they gave me a time on Tuesday. When , I call back again in the store . They said you will be coming on Thursday. I do Uber work on my bicycle. And I feel very bad and tensed because I have no another job. My have very bad experience in this store . The service is very bad . 😭😭😭😔😔👎👎.

Their customer service is absolutely horrendous, they either never answer the phones or let them ring out long enough for you to hang up anyway. I’ve been on hold for about 20 minutes, all I want to know is if they have something in stock before I make the trip over. This isn’t the first time either. Whenever I go i I see at least four workers doing ‘unsafe workplace activities’ such as how they move the h-cages, they always pull them behind them with one hand so the cage fillings out to the side, I’ve almost been hit by a cage and the worker didn’t even acknowledge what happened. Very poor service in my opinion.

Low price

Despicable store. Use Chrome, you can see stock levels per store but there is no click and collect on some items. Switch to edge and click and collect suddenly shows up on the same item. Choose click and collect option and the store with stock in chrome shows as no stock in edge and cannot be selected. wow.

Service at checkout very poor lack of training ,kids can't even count change back to customers

Kmart Newtown is open 24 hours and has a good shopping experience. Spacious parking is available and plenty of lovely boutiques under the same roof. Some prices of products are not marked in order to check that is a task if you are looking for a heavy one. Most of the products are ANKO there, personally I don't like that, but prices are cheaper. A four-star shop in my view, cheers.

Kmart Absolutely the worst retail store service" experienced ever. To buy here is a frustrating experience online special's are never available . Left in disgust I will purchase from Target or Big W even the Reject Shop anywhere that has some service and doesn't try to embarrass me or waste my precious Time."

I been to the store and looking for Padlocks which I tried to find out myself but couldn’t find out and. After seeking help one of the Staff her name is Georgia Perry and she mentioned if you couldn’t see it means they don’t have one unfortunately when I checked with the till staff Manjot , she checked in the the system and found nearly 7 in stock so I feel so bad customer service from Georgia , she didn’t even looking or check in the system before I spent good half an hour to find out myself. Being a customer very disappointed from Georgia customer service. So just be aware if asking/ seeking help from her , please do not rely on her. Cheers!

Kmart a great place to shop. I am used to bying name brand dress shoes. Ie.Hush puppies. Etc .not any more a lovely pair of dress suitable black 15dollars wow a LOVELY pair white type of sport shoe 12dollars both classy smart and incredibly suitable.

Basic shopping Centre . Good variety of stores . Avoid late night shopping , safety issue late night , Police are always called overnight to resolve issues . Rest rooms are always a disgrace !!! Good variety of stores , always plenty of parking .

You can spend so long in here without meaning to, it has everything and is so entertaining. Many shenanigans occur and the staff don't care but it's to be expected of the stores nature

What a terrible place to try and shop, the layout is woeful, looks all cluttered. Maybe the administration people should spend a week being mobility impaired, then they may consider the odd courtesy seat about the shop...After walking around and finally finding the couple of things I needed, pain in my legs was unbearable and all I wanted to do was sit for a bit, but no, not anywhere could I. . SELF SERVE.... what a joke, this is directly aimed at the young generation, yes they are techno minded and can manage easily, but us older generation like the good old fashioned checkout service, and what is the idea of having the pay area in the middle of the shop. I WONT GO BACK.
