amazing food! great service! Fantastic location!

I just attended event there

The rooms AC which was right on top of the bed was leaking onto the bed. The room was filled with bugs. And the showers hot water does not run properly goes cold constantly.

Skinny Gentlemen and his colleague, a stock female had ABSOLUTELY NO reason for being very rude and hostile towards me.... 20 years+ I have been going there....ZERO INCIDENCE... No loss to me..... their conduct including their tone was loud and clear.......Nieve..... How is they had succumbed themselves under the impression I need them...... Check your monthly takings..... There will be a SIGNIFICANT loss... Allow me to inform you who YOUR BOSS/MANAGER/ SUPERVISOR is....... every single CUSTOMER... YOU NEEDED MY BUSINESS..... (past tense). Goodluck... Thanks...For your unnecessary unethical treatment... The following statement is for ANY OWNER including STAFF MEMBERS that choose to ABUSE their DUTY OF CARE.... CLEARLY YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND YOUR STRUCTURED FRAMEWORK INCLUDING YOUR OBLIGATIONS... AUSTRALIAN LEGISLATED POLICIES AND PROCEDURES ARE NOT RULES...... Should you WISH to refurbish your Building/ Rent Space.....that is your decision..... Should you DESIRE a more attractive presentation including being a community HUB.... .. You know recognition ..... That's fantastic, by all means... You CANNOT, I REPEAT CANNOT BULLY YOUR CUSTOMERS.... EVER....this includes .. Talking Down Upon, Defamatory Practices, Malicious Isolating, ill Tone including Threat..... The rooms are terrible the beds gave bed bugs through them there are cocroches everywhere service was alright would not recommend stay here

Great food friendly service

Never had an issue with anytime we have gone there and the food had improved out of site.

Whilst the rooms are clearly of a certain age, it was super clean, loved the omg comfy bed & the freshest linen ever! Maybe just update the one piece of furniture in room 6 but otherwise I was greeted by great staff, the venue itself surprised me in a very happy way. It is a very pleasant place to stay and I really appreciate that the rooms had a good distance from the tavern itself. Happy to recommend or stay again if the need arises. Thank you.

Blacktown Tavern is an absolute gem! The meals are excellent—great quality, full of flavour, and always cooked to perfection. Serving sizes are generous and well worth the price. The venue is consistently clean and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal especially with kids and family. The staff are incredibly polite and friendly, always making us feel at home. A special mention to the floor manager, this gentleman greets us with a warm smile every time and provides top-notch customer service. It’s rare to find such a well-run and inviting place. So glad to have this spot in Blacktown—highly recommend!

Clean and neat place with restaurant at the tavern. The location is within walking distance to train station that goes to Sydney.

Ordered a steak and 2 chicken burgers cost $80 took an hour to get our food,it was cold and the meat tasted like it was defrosted in water,rhe whole lot was disgusting

Updated October 2024 Looks like a change in staff for the kitchen and so much better than the previous menu. Lunch specials are much better than the last visit. Same again for the visit. Went there for a great lunch. Very casual, good prices and exceptional service.

We held an event here. The communication before and during the event was great. The catering supplied was tasty and everyone was happy with the food. The room was set up as we requested. Altogether a seamless enjoyable experience for our event.

Went for dinner had chicken scallopini was advertised as chicken Maryland chat potatoes olives and capers it was chicken breast half an olive and no capers really disappointed

I just want to say WOW. My husband and I held our wedding reception at Blacktown Tavern this Saturday and I believe it was the first wedding they have ever held. Everything was just absolutely perfect. Staff and management went above and beyond. The service and food were incredible, the event room was fantastic and the accommodation for our family and friends was just right. This venue went above and beyond and they were a 10/10. I definitely recommend this venue to anyone who is looking to hold any type of event. Even to just come down and check it out. It is a beautiful venue with amazing staff and facilities. You made our day very special, Thank you Blacktown Tavern!

Team, A massive shoutout to the wonderful staff at Blacktown Tavern! I've never been one to have a regular hangout, but that has definitely changed thanks to the above-and-beyond approach to customer service from the team there. A special mention to Rebecca (Bec) and Lesca for their grace and for providing what can only be described as a true customer service experience. Both have made the entire environment feel welcoming and comfortable, and they work non-stop to ensure it stays that way. Whatever they’re paying you, it’s not enough! I always come here for lunch. Good price and quality. There is also vey friendly staff, Donna. She always welcomes me and smiles. Highly recommend this place.

I just want to show my gratitude to the manager yousif. He provided the best service possible and was able to assist me in all aspects. His customer service was immaculate and I’m shocked to have receive such great service considering that it was my first time visiting the venue. I went with a friend for dinner in the bistro on Wednesday and I wasn’t too satisfied with my food , however yousif was able to solve the problem and looked after us through out the night. Likely to visit again!

The staff made my experience beyond welcoming. The food and service was also great and efficient. I would definitely recommend this place to other families or couples that can’t decide on what to eat and want something simple. The GM there also made us feel very welcome to a place that’s not our local as we were hesitant to try.

The staff at blacktown tavern went above and beyond to make sure everything about our stay/night was perfect. They also greeted us with warmth and kindness. We also decided to stay in and have dinner at the venue and the food was delicious, and service was great. I would highly recommend this place to friends and family, if they're in the area to either visit for food or even for a night away.

Any other time I would have give a 5 out of 5 but the last 2 times I have been to the Tavern the gaming room was an absolute shamozzle. Taking money out of machines while patrons playing machines because there has been no money to pay out patrons from the payment machine,that has happened the last 2 times I had been ,manager running around like a headless chook. Ashtrays,cups left at side of machines having to ask the lady if I could have a clean ashtray. What has happened ? Where have all the old staff gone? Has the Tavern changed hands? I used to love going to have a peaceful,relaxing nite having a press a regular,unfortunately elsewhere is likely to have my attendance after the last 2 outings at the Taverns gaming room. I had received and appreciated an email than a phone call from the Manager offering his sincere apologies from the above review which I had posted. Manager Pat was very understanding to my complaint and will look into the issue making the Tavern a special place for everyone to enjoy no doubt I will return. Thankyou for reaching out Pat. Regards

Inner Wheel Club of Blacktown City just held their club changeover and everyone was very pleased with the venue, (location and parking), staff and service were great and the meal served was delicious. Thank you to all concerned. Communication between Pat made things easy to organise

Two stars and not one due to the entertainment value of watching the manager on duty taste a drink I took back (expired juice), only for him to deny the fact it was off and not offer to replace it. So he drank from my drink, then told me he can't do anything about it... was I supposed to take it back and drink it? This manager also couldn't care less about lines at the bar and people asking for assistance... and would rather be watching his phone behind the register and even while talking to patrons. Everything else was great. Good service by others, sadly let down by the team lead.

Have a fantastic tasting meal there @ least twice a week being a full-time S/Mgr & single Dad. Keep up the great meals & always friendly staff.

Food is great but 2 family members are coeliac and couldn’t eat anything at all. What a pity! Please adjust your menu to accomodate

GREAT PLACE!!! The food is delicious! Not only is it a quick and easy good meal, the atmosphere is great and having the arcade space and indoor climbing equipment just makes it that much better. You can eat in peace whilst your kids play haha! The staff are great. Never had a bad experience. Love the outdoor area too

Room 10, not as bad as some others have stayed in but there was a hole in wall, cabinet doors off hinges and mouldy, hot water took ages to arrive. Generally ok for the price I paid.

I was very fussy with my order but Donna was very gracious & helpful to get my order right and made sure I was happy with it. Kellie did great to manage it too.

Do NOT recommend. The lady at the bar was blunt and rude, work on your customer service - thanks. I was double booked for a room, and till this day I still haven't been refunded. When first informed about the double payment, the lady at the front desk said she'll reimburse me after showing her proof. It has been over a month and no refund still!! What in the actual heck

Disgusting motel. We stayed there for 3 nights. Cleaning hasn't been done, and when we requested for that they said, they will clean the room, only at the check out time. Even though you live there for a week. They really don't care about rooms as their main focus is on club and restaurant. We will not recommend any one as they don't provide essentials also on daily basis. Poor quality.

Good location (walking distance to Blacktown station and shopping centre), plenty of parking, pleasant staff. This place is OK for an overnight stay just to sleep but nonetheless look for a better place to stay. Furnitures are old, fridge cabinet door is slipping off, there’s not even a towel rail in the bathroom, no exhaust, toilet bowl broken, no shower curtain, sink too small.

Awesome pub great for kids , very clean and well community orientated .
