We recently celebrated my daughter’s 18th birthday with a lunch at Bella Vista Hotel. Booking a table a couple of weeks in advance, and it managed to secure us one of their private rooms, which was a great choice—it allowed us to shut the doors and drown out much of the venue’s noise (it does get quite loud due to the sheer volume of people this venue holds). We arrived early for our midday booking, and parking was easy at that time, but by the time we left, the car park was packed, so I’d recommend arriving early to avoid the hassle. The food was good, but pricing felt a little steep—$29 for a chicken schnitzel is on the higher end (add $3 more if you want a sauce on the side). That said, the staff were very helpful on the day, and we had the room for a few hours without any issues. Overall, a great day and a nice venue for a celebration!

They didn't have any coasters for the drink glasses. The wire chairs outside were uncomfortable. We ordered two fish & chips dish and there was no salad on the plate. You pay so much and don't get a balanced meal. Some people I know were telling me that Bella Hotel & the food is so nice but we didn't enjoy anything.

Pepsi Max as the only cola mixer for whiskey and bourbon. Too sweet. But trivia is awesome with Sofia, Jay and Kylie.

Could not recommend the trivia enough, it’s a very well run event that makes for a great way to spend Wednesday evenings. The staff are super friendly and the food is awesome.

Tuesday night trivia is fantastic. Kylie is the hostess with the mostest. Complimented by her amazing sidekicks Jay and Sophia there is always lots of fun to be had.

Jay, Kylie and Sophia provide amazing hospitality and the most entertaining trivia experience that I have managed to find across Sydney. Jays energy on the mic mixed with Kylie and Sophia’s kindness and generosity on the floor provides the most enjoyable trivia experience. The questions are fun and easy to answer for people of all backgrounds, questions for tradies to nurses to businessmen making it easy for my diverse group of friends to attend and enjoy. A bonus extra shoutout for jay on the mic. He is so energetic and full of life that makes every night enjoyable. My group has attended 3 times now and his energy has never dampened, he even remembers our group and our names. Amazing energy Overall one of the highlights of my week and I will continue to return for as long as I can. I look forward to seeing the trivia gang every Wednesday night at 7:30.

Absolutely loved our bottomless brunch this afternoon. Very prompt and well mannered staff (shoutout to Brittany our server). The cocktail jugs were delicious and the food was wonderful. Great pricing and had a wonderful time. Another table near us had a personal saxophone happy birthday who absolutely set a wonderful atmosphere. Thank you for having us :)

Had an absolutely amazing time at bella vista hotel. We booked bottomless brunch and had a great selection of cocktails. Star of the show was Brittany she made the experience ten times better. Super talented she filled our cocktails as soon as they finished, helped deliver our friends baby and even showed us how to solve a calculus equation, that we had been struggling with showcasing einstein level smarts. Genuinely a great worker deserves a raise!!!

Enormous loud venue. Reception unmanned as the girl who was supposed to show us our booked table had wandered off to talk to people leaving us having to find other staff to then find her. This happened twice. Food was very average, just the usual not very good pub food. Music was crap and they refused to consider any requests so we left. First and last time I would come to this place.

As a visitor it was an awesome vibe.service from the bar staff was awesome,they were professional,friendly and vibrant and came with the s factor ( smiling).I totally enjoyed my visit and surely will be back

The overall experience was good; however, the behavior of one of the bouncers was completely unacceptable. Despite us being polite while asking questions, he used inappropriate language towards us, which is unprofessional and unacceptable. While the service at Bella Vista Hotel was satisfactory, the tall and well-built bouncer demonstrated a complete lack of manners. He did not listen to the staff and spoke to my friends in an extremely disrespectful manner, as if he owned the place. I strongly suggest providing proper training to your security personnel on how to interact with customers. It is unfair for us to come for a farewell gathering only to be treated with such attitude and disrespect. While I acknowledge that my friend was intoxicated, there are more professional and respectful ways to handle such situations rather than displaying unnecessary hostility towards guests.

Celebrated at the Bella Vista Hotel on Friday for my friends birthday. I hadn't been here for a few years, and it has become quite ritzy and really good customer service, where a free birthday drink and brownie with ice cream was served. Our food had a quick turnaround, and the drink service was great. They have a dj/ dance area near the main entry. The only annoying thing is the cigarette smoke there. However, I've been told they relocate the DJ inside at a certain time. Parking onsite available, or street side.

Participated in their Long Italian Brunch with a group of 20 people. The staff were super friendly & accommodating leading up to the event via email and in person during the entire booking. The food and drinks were also very tasty. I highly recommend and will definitely go back to try other food on the menu.

They have happy hour and specials each night for foods. Plenty of space inside and out. It’s a great atmosphere. Parking can be a bit of a pain sometimes.

This place just continues to go downhill. Such a shame given it offered a great atmosphere when it first opened. Was there tonight to a half empty establishment. Bar staff is rude and they think a nip of spirit is half a nip , which is pretty poor considering the prices. Standards are out the window, so you might as well wear your track pants and thongs. No need to wear anything decent. Music is average, especially inside the venue, but you always have the option of going outside and dancing amongst the smokers. Oh yes, and wear something cool as the heaters might be on even when it's 30 degrees outside.

I recently visited The Bella (formerly Bella Vista Hotel) for the Melbourne Cup, where I placed a bet for the first time. After winning $580, I encountered significant issues when the machine failed to issue my payout voucher. I suspected another patron took my ticket, and despite notifying staff, I was told to fill out forms to send to TAB for reimbursement. The staff assured me that if TAB didn’t pay, the club would honor the winnings in good faith. However, when I followed up, a manager told me TAB wouldn’t reimburse me, and the club took no responsibility, despite assisting with placing bets. The lack of clear instructions, poor customer service, and failure to address the situation left me feeling frustrated and unsupported. I was made to feel uncomfortable by the individual who took my ticket, with no staff intervention. Overall, The Bella’s lack of duty of care and failure to provide proper assistance for inexperienced gamblers was disappointing. I would caution others visiting, especially on busy days like the Melbourne Cup.

I’m hesitant in recommending my friends go to the Bella Vista Hotel on a Saturday night. The crowd this venue attracts on a Saturday is atrocious. So much security staff says it all. Patrons wanting to punch on outside. Dangerous and ruins the atmosphere. I gave the staff and service five stars though, given what they have to deal with. Hope their marketing manager does a better job in the demographic department. Or maybe I have all of this completely wrong in my generalisation. Maybe the night I went was an anomaly. Whichever the case I’m giving feedback of my experience.

Very noisy inside. Drinks abhorrently expensive. Gin and soda and a Jack Daniles pre mix bottle $25.90. Rip off. Alot more expensive than nearby establishmenst. Enough to put one off returning.
