Absolutely love Hotel Pacific every-time we visit the food and service is amazing. I would highly recommend visiting when you’re at Australia Fair. Big Shout out to Sophia for looking after us ❤️

Daily roast was discussing. Beef boiled, roast potatoes boiled then grilled, vegetables almost raw. Only good bit was the gravy.

Very friendly place

Food: Absolutely amazing, steak was cooked perfectly, chips were nice and crunchy and the salad beats your common pub salads by a mile. Services: Staff are beautiful and friendly at the bar and that serve you, I love this place I’ll definitely be coming back. Atmosphere: Small pokies room is good for a quick slap, theres a smokers balcony and a dining balcony separated accomodating everyone. Even the other customers/regulars are friendly. Can’t provide photos as I ate it too fast😂

Amazing food and view. The staff are great and are always welcoming and polite. It's always a pleasure to drop by. The good is very tasty especially for a tavern. So hats off to the chef's. Have never had a bad meal from there and friends of mine rave on about it too.

I am a loyal Silver member who spent $1000 there and was deeply disappointed by how I was treated during my recent visit on the 30th of January 2025. While I understand store policies, a manager publicly reprimanded me in an unprofessional manner just because I removed my shoes while sitting. I initially listened to the manager and put them back on, but after some time, I forgot and removed them again for comfort. Instead of handling the situation respectfully, I was humiliated in front of others. Due to this experience, I have decided not to visit your establishment anymore and will be advising my friends and family to do the same. Customers deserve respect, as it is their support that keeps a business running. I hope you take this feedback seriously and address how customers are treated.

Good local Great food

Had to leave a review based on the customer service by our server Sophia tonight. Never encountered someone so passionate about their job and business they work for. She was so friendly and bubbly and talked so highly about how much she loved working there, how great the staff / bosses are and how proud she was to work at this pub because of the great food. It was so truly so cute she made the day of everyone at our table.

Beautiful experience. Had a great time. Food was presented gorgeous. I ate it before I could get a photo. Overall 11 out of 10.

Absolutely beautiful food. Order the chefs seafood basket. Barra was cooked moist and flakey, calamari soft like butter and prawns cooked to perfection - Not overcooked and still had a crunch. I swapped fresh oyster For Kilpatrick and they were more than accommodating. You can tell the seafood is fresh and cooked to order. Will absolutely return to try more of the menu.

Great food, service and atmosphere, reasonable prices. Dad and I enjoy a lunch meet up fortnightly and he loves being beside the window for the ocean views. He is a smoker and they have a lovely outdoor area dedicated to smokers on the balcony with water views. It's become one of his favourite places also because he loves the Oyster Kilapatrick.

Celebrated my 30th Birthday here last night . Everything was great from our food , venue to service .We had a group of 30-40ppl and service was very fast FOH & BOH 🙌🏼 I forgot to catch our servers name but she was amazing , helpful , energetic & very kind ! also forgot to take a pretty before eaten picture lol

It was a quiet intimate atmosphere. Mid Sunday afternoon. The food was very tasty and fresh. The chicken was chargrilled. Very soft and tender. Topped with avocado. The broccolini was cooked al dente. The mash potato was smooth and creamy. I ordered chips on the side. They were just the right amount of crunch and soft and fluffy inside and just the right amount of seasoning. A very satisfying meal. The staff were very polite and friendly. Service was quick. The price is reasonable. A good place for a group of friends, a club meet up or date night.

We love going here for a family dinner, never very busy when we go, and the food is consistent and tasty. Lost 1 star for forgetting to put chicken on a chicken ceaser salad special that they had. Luckily, my daughter loved it anyway and just wanted more egg. We wish they would make the chicken ceasar salad a regular menu item

I love a good parmi, and their long island iced tea was strong

We have had lunch here for almost every one of our 28 days in Surfers Paradise. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. The food is awesome - exactly to our taste! There wasn’t a day that we were disappointed and I managed to eat my way around the menu, while my partner stayed with the traditional dishes that his mother used to make! The absolute superstars, however, are the staff, especially Sophia and Amanda in the bistro and Teegan behind the bar. Together, these people are amazing ambassadors for Hotel Pacific and should be treasured. I have lived in Europe, , USA and Asia, and never have I been met with such outstanding service. Thank you all so very much!

Awesome place

used to come here every week but then food got so bad so have not been for a while. I couldn’t believe how empty it was for a Thursday as it’s members draw night, but after seeing how much the prices had increased I realised that was probably why.We ordered the meat lovers pizza which came after 35 mins (i’m guessing they forgot about it as it was burnt and rock hard) it was absolutely disgusting the crust we couldn’t cut with a knife and the toppings were burnt and greasy absolutely disgusting!! we told the waitress it was inedible and absolutely no customer service all we got was “ ahhh sorry” zero cares given!!!

I would not go back and would recommend you don't either. Our order as completely lost and it took us going up and asking where the order was for them to realise. After they were informed they sent a chips to the table and them the manager came and gave us the sorry for what was her incompetence. After getting a bit pissed off they gave us a bit of a refund. Overall experience was very poor from the wait staff to the managers.

I came here about 2-3 times a week before they changed the menu and prices, now I don't come at all. They removed every item I used to buy. Bangers and mash - no longer Halloumi fries - no longer Fettuccini carbonara pasta - no longer Pretty annoyed that my once favourite spot to bring the family is no longer even on my mind. I think the staff are super friendly and welcoming. Nothing wrong with the service at all. Huge L to whoever thought it would be a great idea to mess up something so good. Was a gem...

Our group of friends have frequented here on a regular basis, over the years. We were drawn here for the cheaper prices and smaller meals. We were so disappointed tonight with overinflated prices and oversized meals, as we are seniors doing it tuff but don’t like to waste food during these hard times!

Had lunch today at the Pacific Hotel, Australia Fair, after an absence of a few months. Not happy to see a new menu with such inflated meal prices. A Fisherman's Basket for $30.00 and $25.00 for a steak sandwich is a bit rich. The food is the same, only the prices are increased. You are taking the public for fools. Be dining somewhere different next time.

Garlic Prawn we tried last year was average, needs more seasoning. Besides, please use some real Jasmine Rice not the lighter substitute. Fish Burger we have was crumbed and overcooked, so it was very hard & a bit burnt. The food & drinks here was average. The interior look & view was Great. Services quality varies between different staffs,the young lady was rude at the order counter but the other older ladies were with good Hospitality. And the front door area smelled smoky although the smoking area should be on another side🚬

Food was really nice, and great prices. Most of the staff were friendly, except the short blonde haired lady who cut me off and said she observed I was slurring, and then watched me have another drink. Firstly, I was not slurring, nor was I drunk! If that was the case, I'm sure the next establishment wouldn't have let me drink for the next 3 hours! If you want to go by the RSA, why watch me have another drink? I asked several ppl around me. They said nope. Didn't offer water. Such a shame she handled the situation so poorly as all the other staff were so friendly, and I said to my friend that I think I'll go there quite often. If you're looking for any kind of atmosphere, head to the Cecil Hotel down the road

Had lunch there and was very happy with the service. The staff don’t get enough credit for dealing with rude and condescending customers. I was at the bar when ‘Linda’ ordered her wrap. Prue was off the clock and on her way out when she served Linda. Linda didn’t like what they had on their menu and asked for a salad wrap, and is now complaining that she got a salad wrap? I’m sure there are bigger things to deal with than complain and compare salads??? Well done Prue and staff for putting up with the Lindas in the world. Our hospitality staff do t get treated with enough respect. Would definitely continue going there. Great prices too!

New grab & go menu ?? That’s as joke !! Well sandwiches aren’t available next best thing was a wrap which was absolutely pathetic 😡wouldn’t of held a cup full of salad on it, the wrap was the only filling part of it & it was $10 totally ripped off .. a sidesalad in a bowl is only $6.50 which would of been 2 x the amount .. disappointing my friend complained to the young chef & only response was “ that’s how we make them here “ won’t be back !! & btw the bar attendant I believe her name as Prue was utterly rude ..

food was 👎 order 200gram steak with chips salad and chips an calamari on top calamari was undercooked looked the last crumbs of the packet we also got a starter garlic bread was not toasted well felt like just a bun with heaps of cheese melted ontop also order a chicken snitzel meal the snitty was super thin over cooked and really dry needed to use the gravy to make it taste somewhat nice I think the only thing nice was the CC drinks and salad unfortunately. I also think staff need some customer service team building modules maybe 🤷‍♀️

Actually a nice quiet lunch spot where you can talk to friends. Lunch was great but wine choice disappointing. Would try it again though as pumpkin salad was great
