Great outdoor area

Food is good, pretty decent selection of beers on tap and the best place to play Warhammer on a Wednesday night.

Enjoyed dinner with friends. Good food.

I usually enjoy coming to this club for a meal now and then with my hubby. Lately. I’ve rejoined the gym attached to the club and pop in for a coffee afterwards if I’ve got time. Most of the staff are very pleasant except for one or two who need to upgrade their customer service skills and manners.

I only gave 3 stars for the staff. The food at the bistro however has dramatically gone downhill. I recently ordered the 4 cheese ravioli which I have had a year ago and it was delicious, this time it was inedible. The ravioli was just sitting in a puddle of oil and the slivers of mushroom and the chunks of pumpkin were passed their used by date. You could taste how off they were. I know food is expensive now but there has to come a time when you throw it out and buy fresh vegetables. I told the waitress, so I just hope she passed it onto the chef and he listened and didn't try to still pass them off to the next customers. Needless to say I definitely won't be back to eat there again. Please buy fresh food and stop cooking out of date vegetables.

Massive menu, but everything we had was overdone and deep fried to inch of its life. Even the churros. The outdoor section was nice enough but we won't be coming back.

***BAD BAD BAR STAFF SERVICE*** If you are looking to get a 5 star poor service, the bar staff are the worst customer service. They do not know how to smile, greet the patrons at reception, and they definitely do not pick up empty glasses from our table as we had to ask when we went up to the bar. On a side note, i went to the bar 3 times and was charged 3 separate prices for the same drink. POOR POOR POOR Service. GET NEW BAR STAFF AS THEY LET THE CLUB DOWN. The bar staff is uninviting as the club is. Reno's and revamp is needed on all aspects.

This RSL club is always a delightful spot to visit! Every time we go, it’s an enjoyable experience. The food is good, the drinks are reasonably priced, and the atmosphere is wonderfully relaxing. They have a massive menu to choose from, offering something for everyone. The decor adds to the cozy vibe, making it a great place to hang out with friends or family. Whether you’re chilling with a cold drink or just soaking in the relaxing ambiance, it’s always a treat. We can’t wait to visit again and again!

Staff are great.. prices are reasonable I ordered fish for $29 the kids meal had more on it than my adult meal.. so don't order the fish. All the other orders were very well proportioned for the prices

I want to give a yea for the day to Renee . She’s far too good to work who behind the bar. Put her on reception where her friendly & efficient manner would pay dividends.

Park was great . The drinks were cold . Would highly recommend the fish and chips or the pizzas . But the other dishes we had were uneatable. Very disappointing

Food was delicious - but a reunion was ruined by uncontrolled, screaming kids running around the bistro. Security should have stepped in and asked parents to deal with them or leave.

I went to the club on 29/9 after the car show at the park next to it. The staff were generally friendly. We got 4 drinks which was $50 very pricey I felt for 2 Guinness beer, 1 vodka cruiser and 1 Canadian club from the tap. I was entertaining some visitors from overseas so played one round of pool table then went to play the poker machines. I am not promoting pokies in anyway I am just telling you my experience at the club. There was 4 of us so 2 sat at the machines next to each other 1 sat behind them on another machine. I was standing behind the 2 people sitting at the machine. Only one person was playing we had some small wins we were not loud or anything like that. Then a staff came and told me to not crowd around the machine. I don’t understand how I was crowding everyone was sitting down and I was the only one standing so I just sat behind the 2 people. Then randomly other staff walked past us to keep a watch on us. I don’t think we were doing anything wrong or disrupting anyone around us. So we just left after feeling very unwelcome to this club. The original guy that told me not to crowd the machine may have been the shift manager. I want to give some feedback treat your patrons with respect and equally like the other people in the club. I know for sure I am never going back there to feel so unwelcome. If I could give a negative rating I would. The club is also very tired and old looking. People enter at your own risk.

This place is amazing. Meet our son & daughter in law for the first time. Doesnt look much on the outside but once inside wow such a great place for kids of all ages from toddlers to teens. Plenty room for parties. A really good set up.

The club is your typical small RSL or Bowling Club. Bar Service is good. The restaurant order was delivered to the table a short time after ordering. The salt and pepper calamari was passable not the best I have ever had but far from the worst I would say average , a 5 out of 10. The chips were very average and sparse... But the Salad was offensive looking like a returned Salad from the previous month that had been repeatedly reserved to the next paying customer day and night every day for the next month .... I definitely was not going to eat that. Therefore I give you a 1 ⭐ out of 5.

Monday and Wednesday nights kids eat free with any member adult meal. Great selection if food. Great play area for the kids. Affordable prices. Good dinner option when you can't be bothered cooking

Great atmosphere, the outdoor section is perfect for a quiet beer or 3. We'll priced food and large servings.

Great place for family events. Reasonable price for the catered food and place is reasonably clean and maintained. We had our son’s birthday and all our guests commented on the good food and facilities. Some open play areas for small kids which will kept the little ones busy. The hospitality can be improved a bit but there is not much else to complain about. I see some mixed reviews for food but the catered food we got was excellent and decent servings.

Food here is terrible. Venue is fantastic for kids. They have changed the name of the bistro since last visit (maybe they just changed the look of the menu) but it’s the same crap. And it’s crap. I’ve tried at least 10 dishes and all of them are below average. If it wasn’t for the kids area we would not come.

Best club in the Area, probably best neighbourhood Club anywhere!

The lady at the front desk was quite rude and unwelcoming to me and my mother. She needs a job with no customer contact. She seemed annoyed signing us in. The ladies at the bistro were lovely, park is great for kids.

Great access for disabled, no steps or ramp alternative if there are any steps. Not many disabled parking spaces but plenty of regular parking Food is good very generous servings. Where we sat was under cover but still open to the elements so dress appropriate to the conditions.

Great space for families, catch ups and dinners. Food was delicious. And generous servings. Service prompt.

While the menu looked good, the quality of food was far below expectations. Not worth a second visit.

Food was average. Loved the chips though. Pricing was higher than I was expecting. Make sure you wear a collared shirt. Expect to be refused entry otherwise.

Such a good spot, good ow pretty good and average pricing for a decent meal. The outdoor area is really why we go there, perfect to take the whole family, kids can play in the park or the train, plenty of space for them to play, lots of tables to sit and eat outside, it's just wonderful to kick back and relax. Definately a great spot to hang with friends and loved ones.

I normally would give this place a 5 Star review but that has changed with my experience tonight. After dinner I went to get ice blocks with my 3 kids, 3,5and 7 plus my friend and his 2 kids, 3 and 7 they raced ahead of us excited by getting ice blocks and were promptly stopped by a staff member at the door named Craig. I saw it on his tag. He told me that I had to control my kids, and that i was irresponsible,.They weren't allowed to run. They needed their shoes on, 2 of the 5 kids had shoes on, that there were no ice blocks for kids. I understand why he would stop them but in the manner which he did was very disrespectful. I got my kids to put their shoes on and picked an ice cream after a heated discussion in which he said i was a bad parent. Then as we sat down and the kids had their ice blocks, 2 security gards told us that we would all have to leave once the kids finished thier ice blocks, which was humiliating, Absolutely abhorrent staffing practices. I'm appalled that at a place like panania diggers which caters for families and is touted as a family club would treat its members with such hostility and contempt. They should not forget who pays their bills and that kids are also part of members. He's a thought for management at Panania diggers if you want families to come and spend money then make it family friendly. Kids will run its in their nature, having an old bitter obsolete staff like Craig at the front desk is counterproductive to its mission statement.

The staff and customer service are very rude, and the food is expensive. Not recommended at all.

We discovered a wonderful place with a fantastic atmosphere, delicious and very abundant food at an excellent price. The children love the place, super familiar and beautiful.

Quick trip friendly staff

food was good , but it was a bit disappointing to hear yelling and screaming and carry on coming from the kitchen customers dont want to hear the carry on amongst chefs and cooks - keep it professional . if they wanted an audience they got it with the who bistro stopping to look at what the yelling was about

I am a women with a disability I was fund raising all day yes I did have a couple of drinks and enjoyed dancing throughout the day when i tried to enter the venue and was denied because I wobbled but 2 minutes after people I was with all day and they drank all day was allowed entry but I was denied. I am not saying that they shouldn't do their job but they need to see who people are and not discriminate against people with disabilities

Always a great time with friends at the diggers and the back it up with cold bevvies and great pub meals

Good priced food, lots of space for the kids and some good staff. One was extremely rude and unhelpful when I needed a bathroom in a hurry on entry. It was clearly urgent. It wasn't until other customers spoke up that I was allowed to sign in quickly and go to the loo. On speaking with the receptionist after I was finally allowed in I was told they forced people to wait to sign in because there had been drug users trying to get through to the bathrooms and she was concerned I was one. Considering I was with my wife and two children at the time this was just very offensive and unhelpful. There was also a guest smoking near the playground and a stray cat. Honestly they get an extra star for the cat though.

Just enjoyed a really nice dinner with friends who grew up in the area. A modest facade houses a very family-friendly environment with a great outdoor and undercover playground for the kids. The bistro food was excellent with a very expansive menu that would suit just about anyone. With a large group we each had something different and everyone highly rated the food taste, quality, value for money and portion size. A great club that also has a very friendly service team! Highly recommend! 😎👍

I can't praise the Diggers highly enough. I've been to two family functions there in the last month and everything has been exceptional. The staff, organisation, customer service, attention to detail and the catering was amazing. I have recommended the Diggers to others for any of their future functions. Thanks so much and I look forward to our next event there

Friendly atmosphere, a wide choice of meals and reasonable priced.

Phenomenal pad Thai and the wonderful sally poured a beautiful pint of Guinness to go with my meal. The other lovely girl put the nrl on in the centenary room for me.

Very good atmosphere

Awesome kids area, kept my 3 children from 3 age groups occupied for over 3 hours while we enjoyed an adult meal and a few cheeky beers. Monday was buy a full meal and get a kids meal free, servings were decent and my steak was cooked perfect. Looking forward to going back.

I dined in last saturday the 28/10 with a family of 10 and got a few pizzas ( 3 little pigs, meatlovers and more) and we were very impressed with the quality of the pizzas and the swift time it took for the pizzas to come. I saw a teenager kid preparing these pizzas and if it was him I am very impressed that someone his age can make such excellent pizzas with such professionalism. I WILL RETURN!!!!!
