Lucky to have an electrical hobbyist supplier locally. There aren't many businesses that provide such products and services anymore and Jaycar sales staff are willing to help, enthusiastic, usually well informed and polite. The extra help you get from the sales team is reflected in Jaycar's pricing, so they may not be as cheap as other wholesalers / retailers.

I had to go in to get parts for a uni assignment, 2 gentlemen not only helped me get the things that I needed but they went out of their way to assist me as I was struggling with the concept. They were super sweet and friendly, thank you guys for being a huge help

Terrible service. Called the Hoxton Park store enquiring about a replacement battery for a Digitech UHF hand held. The. Young woman who took my call advised me to look at the catalogue or online. I offered her the model number so she could check on her computer. She told me that is not how they do it. She then hung up on me. When I called back she said I yelled at her , which was a total lie. She then placed the manager on the phone who couldn't careless about her behaviour. And was not much help either.

Some of the most helpful & knowledgeable staff in Electronics. Shout out to store manager, Bec for her customer service. And Alex for his technical expertise.

I have never had such great service other than today at jaycar. I knew what I was getting and they advised me well in other options with what I was doing (gallery set up). They offered to test a projector for me. Friendly service with a smile.

Lots of different electrical items for sale, handy bits for electricians , a few items on sale and rather a good variety of equipment, activities. Gadgets , lights, and technical items, electricians heaven

The first store person who assisted me was very nice and helpful. When we needed further assistance a second person was called for their help in finding the particular item i was looking for. The second person was rude and said that they cant do my project for me when all i asked was for a simple metal core.

Would avoid things like speakers from jaycar, you get what you pay. Ethernet Crimping tool broke after a few uses, but I can't fault the store itself for this. If you speak to the staff, they always give good advice.

Most electronic stuff I buy here breaks or stops working within a short period of time. The staff are nice if not corporate puppets.

Store closed even though I was aloud to do a click and collect order web site said open now have to wait 7 days for refund unable to transfer orders between stores. Not happy

Manager was really helpfull but first guy i ran into say no we dont have and sent me 2 john r turk. Went there and came back to manage and he said we do have. I think staff need more training

For the electronic hobbiest or in other words 'super nerd'... There is quick access to electronic components that are already there. Yes, you could order them online through mouser, digikey etc for a better price. But if all you need is X y z in single / small amounts.... It's worth paying 70cents (instead of 25c online and waiting 7 days) at a brick and mortar store here in Australia. Good to see electronic doodads available for purchase in a large amount of variations here. Good store and the staff have a generally good idea of the merchandise. Recommended to ask those whose joy comes from power rails and breadboards.

Good store with decent stock levels, staff could have more knowledge; assistant manager needed to help locate items. Would still go here for all general electronic needs, just check stock levels online before attending the store.
