This buffet food is getting worst, not like before. The prawns is not fresh disgusting and for the sushi is also not fresh. Not much varieties. Merrylands RSL Club buffet same price to pay, more varieties and very clean there. Not going to Club Marconi Star Buffet anymore.

Unlike the Bankstown Star Buffet , it has too many tables and not much room to move Bankstown is more updated and comfortable ,but this one’s food is much more appetising ,so I thing we will stick with Club Marconi with more tastier food .

Food and service friendly and great. But some of the guests, like that rude old Italian man that keeps pushing in front of the line just ruins it all. I wish I could review some of the guests as I would give 0 stars for them.

We visited on a Friday night during the school holidays. Parking was almost full, but there was plenty of parking. Unfortunately, not many Quadriplegic spaces are available, and not many cars without the Quadriplegic card are visible, and they are not inspected regularly. The food was plentiful, and they cater to many different types of food. I was a bit disappointed with the scallops from previous times. Even though there were signs for children to be accompanied by an adult, there was no control from the parents over their children.

We went here on the reason it was the only buffet locally that was open Monday.... So happy we did. Cannot praise the food, staff and cleanliness enough. The food was fresh and flavourful..... The creme brulee was literally the best I've ever eaten. Kids were very excited to see a fairy floss machine (even the big kids) We will definitely be going back.

Im so pissed i came there with my family before and all i did is sign in as guest now they ask me for my miunties card and my partners id piss me off i only wanted to go to the frikin restuarant oh well gone to another restuarant.

They let to many people in there it was restaurant at one time people are pushing you to get food and the food runs out you have to wait until the staff replaces the food which takes a while they also run out of cutlery we will not be returning there again

Sat for the 5:30 session on a Friday evening and all the meats were cold. Even in the Asian section the garlic prawns and bbq duck were cold. I won't be going back anytime soon.

Good cheap food

Food was really bad and the place smelt awful which RUINED the atmosphere. Service was ok and got the job done. Overall worst buffet experience 7/10

use to be my favourite buffet but not after today .we have the worst experience with the person infront as far as we find out he is the buffet manager, we have been trading with very rude manner, refused even to apologise after finding out the misunderstanding

I didn't get a photo unfortunately but the satay chicken had a fly in it all food was disgusting meat was dry Try to complain she roll her eyes and said the foods fine Never goin back again Been there 12 time before this experience discusting

Went star buffet marconi first time today. Nice relaxed seating, buffet had average choices, edible but honestly I'd rather go somewhere else for that price. Drinks bump the end price up at $4.50 per cup( bottomless soft drinks) floor was sticky, bathrooms not very clean. Average at best.

When i went with my family on Wednesday night, the club was busy . Foods were not many types and were not filled in. Bbq bar was dry 😩, BBQ duck with smell bad. Overall, the worst ever buffet I ever eat

Poor service, was told they dont take bookings for group of 50, was told to wait for the whole group to get tables then had to change tables twice. Foods over priced, poor taste on most dishes & toilets were not clean at all. Would not recommend to anyone. This is giving Marconi a bad reputation.

Food was a bit disappointing. The Japanese food selection is not many. The dumplings lacks flavour. So so choices.

Most of the food was good, some not so good. Service was good, they pick up used dishes quickly. But good variety and desserts.

Today, my friends and I made a nostalgic pilgrimage to Star Buffet. Back in the day, we had free reign and didn’t realize how good we had it until it was gone. We returned to relive those glory days, but let’s just say we should have left the past where it belongs. The food was lackluster at best. One friend was on a mission to fill a 1400-calorie void, but the buffet couldn’t deliver. To make matters worse, I discovered another friend’s hidden distaste for me: using terms like “vanilla” to describe me, which only soured the experience further. The atmosphere was as dull as you’d expect, and the service was typical for a buffet.

Great place to enjoy food with family. Gym is quite good as well.

I was so embarrassed the place was smelly of fish odour. The amount of people that were there was incredible as if there were a famine. The food was not enough. You had to stand in line from the entry of the club till you reach the restaurant. Then another lineup for all the food even when you go back for more. The toilet was really smelly and dirty.

Food was very average. Best part was roast pork and ice cream for dessert. But I wouldn’t come back again.

Food was not hot. Selection of deserts not as big as I expected. Staff was friendly & helpful.

It was ok but a bit expensive $150 two adults two kids unlimited soft drink which was disgusting ,The coke was basically brown water ,We told staff about it and she asked another staff member to change the barrel or whatever it is ,Ten mins later it was still the same and all the soft drinks where just watery and flat with no flavour , The food wasn't that fresh but you had a good variety to choose from,It's also quite spacious so you have room to walk around and don't have to worry about bumping into others,I don't know if will go again anytime soon as the soft drink machine was putrid and really ruined it for us I saw the manager changing it again and cleaning it but the drinks where still watery and no flavour to it,3/5

don't waste your precious money on 38 dollars junk food in an outdated buffet

decided to come travel up here from Wollongong. so glad i did ! it was my husbands wake and my whole family absolutely loved it ! thank you star buffet (the name is so fitting!)

A little disappointing to see how far down the food at this place has gone. Tastless.

Food below par, Bankstown I think was better. But sad to see kids uncontrolled touching and dropping foods, walking over food squashed into carpet, it looked like a food fight, I was shocked how people treated the place. I felt sorry for staff trying to clean up, staff were friendly trying hard. I was syrprised that the Marconi Club allowed such a place to be on the same premises as Doltone House. I've been there 2 times for two functions in the last 4 weeks both times were terrible. You'd have to pay me to go there again.

Terrible food, horrible food

This buffet is not what is used to be. I wouldn't serve their food even to my worst enemy. Very disappointed and won't be back again unless the club changes the concession.

It was disgusting, all the food was hard like it had been left out for hours. I couldn’t even stab my fork through the honey chicken. Potatoes and pumpkin hard as rocks. basically every food option was a watered down, old, hard version of that dish. I felt sick eating it and the dessert was no better. This place was a lot better a few years ago. I wouldn’t even eat here again if it was free

Seafood selection was pretty average only had prawns and they were small, it was sweet though. Standout was the pork belly. They hang ducks but don’t serve it just chicken! Chinese food selection was ok noodles weren’t great, fried rice was good. Fried food selection was ok I like the battered chicken and surprisingly the chips were nice! Roast beef was good and the mushroom sauce was a hit. Gravy didn’t really taste like anything. Sushi looks terrible didn’t try it. Great selection of desserts this would be the highlight! Loved the panna cotta and mousse cake. It’s cool they had fairy floss for the kids. Very cheap so you get what you pay for!

use to be good, but now they don't know how to organise bookings or the people walking up to the place and if you go there on a Sunday good luck getting tables. they say no bookings yet they allow huge groups come in and take over not a good experience at all

Good variety of food on the buffet, all you can eat, but it's very popular so can feel a little like the hunger games trying to get what you want

The food is ok the menu hasn't changed since 2017....

Family vibe, Lovely place, no doubt!! But the food is a let down. They could done better, all the meat are dry, tough, chewy. I get it! Big buck but low effort. If more effort on the quality of the meat instead of the quantity then I more will come for the food and the service.

Star buffet at Marconi club open daily for lunch and dinner

A good eat all you can buffet selection of around 80 dishes. I was on fire on Easter Monday and stopped at 5 plates just before my stomach would burst...tried out everything but still missing perhaps 3 food stations. The food quality was better than othet stock standard club buffets. Lots of European and Australian choices and two Chinese fiod station (other places are more heavy on Chinese dishes). No Indian choices though. Price on Easter was $37. Was it worth? Yes, it was great! Would I go back in a hurry? Probably not...I think you have to space out buffet meals if you want to enjoy.

We go regularly and generally always good great selection. They could prepare to refill emty dishes more often

the club itself is a miserable place that need their pokies to pay at least a little did not receive a twenty cent payout from $250.00 I found the club very greedy.

Great food and service. There is no need to book plenty of tables

Food is below par unfortunately, dry meat and terrible dessert. Not worth the $$$
