Poor service and workers are very rude

The Manager was very rude to the patrons and making false allegations against the patrons. when first walked in to buy a drink which we weren’t rude towards the manager and he caused drames and kicked us out for no reason.

I went there and the bar was closed. The staff asked me to go other way around. The door was locked i asked her the way in polite manner but She was so rude to me and started swearing and yelling at me. Never going there again.

for a long time, we to go here for occasional beer and a meal. a very friendly and professional staff. change of bistro staff is a good outcome. we had a few bad food experience but the recent visit was a positive. e had a nicely prepared T bone steak which is the best steak that we had for a while. cooked as ordered. keep the good work going!

Toilet is a big issue. I went to the toilet had 3 stalls. One of them didn’t had a toilet seat one of them was filthy because the flush didn’t work and the last one the door doesn’t close, and mind you this is a ladies toilet. They need to do better.

The toilet facilities here a horrendous. I’ll pass through just to use to facilities here as any pedestrian would and for months the conditions haven’t change. Cubicles conditions are of a 3rd world state. There’s 3 cubicles. 2 of which seem to always be unusable and the one that is available is usually blown out by a previous occupant. It’s chat. Broken locks, bodily fluids on floors and seats, no soap management obviously have no intention to get on top of this.

We ordered 4 t-bones tonight 2 out of 4 got the order correctly. With the steak it was tough and bland. This is the worst steak I ate by far. Sorry.

I love how you're greeted by the staff the second we walk in, it's my favourite place to hang out with friends 🧡, plus the Environment is so delightful

I have recently moved to guildford and i must say the staff here are a lot more friendly and welcoming than any other venue i have visited during my stay here. a BIG shout to cassandra for remembering my name and what i drank on my second visit to the hotel 2weeks later, and with that gesture this place and the staff have won me over.

I had an extremely distressing experience at Billabong Hotel Merrylands that I believe is important to share. During a recent visit, a security officer grossly violated my privacy. While using the restroom, the officer climbed over the toilet partition, invading my private space without any proper justification. This action was not only humiliating and disrespectful but also questionable in legality, considering the strict protections against unreasonable searches and privacy invasions. Such behaviour is unacceptable, particularly in a setting that should prioritize the safety and dignity of all patrons. It's essential for customers to be aware that their rights to privacy are supported by law, even in situations where security is a concern. I urge potential visitors to reconsider supporting this establishment until they address and rectify these invasive security practices.

The bar staff are kind and always accommodating. Duty managers are always ensuring patrons are comfortable and provide a service as well as any other Pub within the district. I'm here most weekends and will continue to come , and am looking forward to some of the exciting changes coming in the coming months !!. Thanks Billabong!!

Literally best pub in Merrylands hands down! Would rather come here than rsl always good vibes in sports bar and gaming room clean and tidy good managers on board esp islander lady with tat sleeve was very professional when dealing with junkies causing trouble good to see management dealing with it! And moving them on.

Probably the best place to have a steak dinner in the area excellent quality and service, must be a place to visit. 10/10

I have been a customer of this club for many years. I waste a lot of money in the poker machines here every day. Tonight, exactly five minutes after I finish my money and was about to withdraw money from my account, the security officer rudely told me to leave the pub if you don't play. I told him that it was not a problem as long as I was losing my money, but now I don't have the right to rest for five minutes? But he rudely ordered to leave the club. I told him that you don't know how to respect customers at all and I went out to withdraw money from the bank. On the way back, he stopped me and said you have no right to enter the pub for 24 hours. I asked why? I went to take money. But he stopped me and scared me out by physically touching me, which is an example of assault. My friend told him to be polite, this gentleman is eighty years old. Why are you touching him, but he claimed that I don't understand what he is saying, while my English is as good as his. Later, when I was going out of the door, he came towards me and pushed me by hitting me with his body! I'm still shocked and speechless about his behaviour. All this happened under the camera. I request the hotel management to take care of this issue because such personnel are not worthy of this place.

Great Place horrible bistro raw food

This place is really dated and run down. Little fruit flies and fleas flying around everywhere. Not overly clean. Don't get me started on the toilets used syringes left behind by junkies.

10/10 The team here will keep you on your toes from the moment you arrive. Plenty of room to enjoy with friends or family. And don't forget. They got the name Billabong out of everyone!

Such a friendly hotel. The bar staff here were the most amazing caring ladies, so attentive. They brought me over the nicest coffee. These ladies were so big on service and their smiles were heart felt. Thank you to you both ,you made our experience very memorable. Left this hotel with a smile, we will be back.
