Visited here last week with my wife , to have a quiet drink and a bit of a play, but 10mins later we got harrased by a drugged fueled guy under the influence, and police was NOT called to kick him out so I had to try to yell at him to defend me and my wife as he was threatening us, because of this situation we had to leave the premises as he was not kicked out We are NOT HAPPY that innocent patrons have to defend themselves from people under the influence. If security is not hired earlier at 5pm this matter will continue happening.

Wonderful place and excellent service, plus open all night, feel safe and great food and drinks. My only concern is the background music playing non stop... The place doesn't need background music at all. The tv is good and should just have that playing with sound and the machines are good too with sound. When the radio is on It's hard for people to talk to each other and can cause headache for people too. Also noticed the radio is so loud that people can't hear the tv or machines.. But everything else is perfect and lovely. But the radio is killing the place mood, If you want music in background please I do recommend putting on classical music or turn all songs into piano songs instead. So it isn't so loud and can sound pleasant.and doesn't sound so predictable too. I had ask numerous of time to the staff to turn down the radio but still too loud. That I beg them to turn it off instead. I had grew tired of repeating asking for it to be turn off. It is getting painful for my ears. That all I ask is please put more calming smooth sound in the background. I had been to many pub and my ears doesn't hurt. It is only here. But the place is still lovely and wonderful staff.

Turned up after, a trip from hell. The staff more than helpful to point us in the right direction for a room for the night. Then went back to the bar and were greeted with $7 basic spirits till 10pm. Then we're given complimentary chicken nuggets for bar snacks. Do yourself a favour and say g'day to these guys👍👍👍👍👍

Absolutely lovely experience from staff and security for customer service and everything you could imagine. Such a welcoming vibe and general all round friendliness here, I would 100% recommend making a stop by here on your night out on town!

Most staff there are fine except one named Belinda, if she can’t be friendly and welcoming to customers, she shouldn’t work in hospitality. No effort. It’s like she’s doing a huge favour to do anything for anyone, acts like she can’t be bothered to even make coffee to customers. She makes new customers feel unwelcome. A big liability to that place.

My Husband and I found Lachy and Evan to be very friendly and helpful and gave a Great service.

Absolutely discusting service from the so called manager BELINDA.. sits there and judges customers, she is rude and condescending.. Belinda makes it clear she dislikes her job.. Clearly she does not have the personality for the job, you lose a lot of business because of her..

The music is too loud and they need to turn down the machines

This is a great little Tavern well it's called a Tavern but it's basically a pokies room with a bar and toilets I'm not sure about wheelchair access but that is wheelchair parking and the staff are quite friendly even on the dreaded Friday and Saturday nights everything is quite nice in this establishment

Staff was rude aa hell. Place was empty wouldn't accept an expired learnera photo permit with other id that wasn't expired. When asked what would be acceptable I was told I was hopeless as I was disqualified and therefore licence couldn't be renewed... I tried to explain I having treatment for leukaemia at the rah across the road and just wanted to smash $50 through a machine before going back to hospital to finish the chemotherapy treatment I been doing for past 2 weeks and just needed a break from what id would be acceptable she just asked I was upset with her for my id being expired.

Went there on a Friday night just after 1am and the staff were far from welcoming. They were ridiculously rude to my friends and i when ordering drinks. I asked if they had pink Gordons which is a pretty common spirt to have at a licensed venue (espically in the heart of the city, on the busiest street for nightlife in Adelaide). They could have just said no sorry but instead insisted to assert that the venue was not a bar, just a gaming room. The staff made it quite obvious that they didnt want to be there as they made it out that pouring a drink was to much of an effort. When we went up to the bar to order another drink at aprx 1.50am the staff ignored us and was chatting amongst themselves untill one of them finally approached us to the say they couldn't serve drinks past 2am. When we tried to say we had been waiting for the past 10 mins and were the only customers there they then tried saying their till system automatically cuts of at 2 so theres nothing they could do about it. Which being in the hospitality industry I know that's not ture. I would not recommend going to the west end tavern on weekend night.

Very racist staff on 4 November 2021 at 4am. They talked down to me the moment I walked in the door, because I am black. I was treated like a lesser type of person. Then a white lady walked in and there wasn't anything said to her. Very disappointing that colour is a factor in the way they run their business

Favourite place to go For an early morning cheeky poke, great coffee and convo with a young fellow Ryan , Anita keeps the place in check but is a delight , Belinda is awesome, a great place overall

Worst customer service tonigh from Belinda. She was never ready to serve customers when we needed change. I left after she wanted me to go and get my coin cup. Isn't that her job to have the change ready? Abolutlely pathetic. I won't be going back.
