Great local JB Hi Fi store!
It's very hard to find a person to serve you or ask any questions. I don't know what it is maybe they don't get paid enough to do that. Not a problem with surrounding department stores with friendly staff always happy to help
Good store. Staff are very friendly and helpful
Prices are very competitive, but the common problems with most of these stores these days to help lower overhead costs is low stock levels and low staffing levels.
Helpful staff. I found what I was looking for with a discount.
Completely rubbish cheap and poor customer care
While I visit here and like the shop, I've never once bought from here. They simply don't have staff that are around to help when you need them, and if you do find someone, get what you want, they then direct you to the most stupid checkout design you've ever seen and that's understaffed! You'd think, if you're standing there waving the cash in your hands. You might think someone would actually want to buy stuff without all the blocks. I mean, people are sheep, but you don't need to treat us like them.

If your not a mate of someone who works there or your not security you don’t get served. Waited 20min and not one person approached me but it’s all good for staff to kick back and have a drink with there mates

I usually don’t write reviews but I like to acknowledge Tom, the team member that assisted me today. I had initially asked another team member to help me with my faulty laptop, telling me to wait aside for another member to come and check it out. I waited around 20-25 minutes, it was busy I could tell but I would of liked some honesty or heads up about the waiting time :) I eventually had to go around and ask another team member, and them being Tom. Tom was very helpful and attentive, apologising about the initial waiting time, but I didn’t mind it as in the end someone helped me out. It only took around 6 minutes to get everything sorted out. I very much appreciate your assistance Tom!
I came to this store to buy earphones that I had checked their prices on Jbhifi website. In store I discovered that prices of the earphones were 50 % higher than those on the website. A sale price (50% off) for one earphone was actually a normal price on Jbhifi website. Later on, I found out that Officeworks actually offered a lower price for the same earphone. Very dissapointed with this store. Officeworks seems to be more professional and honest than Jbhifi.
No customer service
Great store. Always Positive happy staff. Giving 5 stars to all the staff in JB Hi-Fi Merrylands. Also I want to specifically write this review to Damian for his amazing help and fantastic customer service today with our purchase. Damian was very resourceful in product information and took the time to answer all of our questions - nothing was too much trouble and the delivery of our purchases was well organised. Would definitely be back in contact with Damian if we need any other purchases.👍 I just want to appreciate Matt, one of the staff members who went above and beyond to help me out. And let me tell you, he did it all with a friendly and helpful attitude. Big kudos to Matt for making my day with his outstanding service. It's not every day you come across someone so helpful and committed.
Visited today, and I had 4 or 5 team members asked if I needed help. Great service. I can't remember names, but it doesn't matter, the entire team was fantastic. I've visited this store multiple times and never once had an issue, but today was a perfect example. I spoke to one lady there and they didn't have 2 watches in stock that I wanted to purchase. So I settled for a cheaper device, and took it to the counter. Unfortunately that item wasnt in stock either, but after chatting with one of team members he offered me a deal that I just couldn't refuse even though the colour definitely wasnt my first choice... or second choice! He then helped with the price of an additional band to assist with the colour choice too. Outstanding service from the entire team to help me! I would recommend anyone going to any JB to visit this store, as its example of excellent service and sales. Complete opposite to Castle Hill who didn't even acknowledge me, only the security guard 🤣
Very pleased with the service received from Jess. She was amazing, juggling with multiple calls and providing service in multiple tills. I had to do purchase on multiple cards and she was patient and helped me with it. Never seen such a good person and service in my life.
My Experience with JB Hi-Fi: On November 14, I purchased a simple Nokia phone for $109 from JB Hi-Fi in Merrylands. After using it, I realized the phone had many issues, including being unable to send messages or recharge the SIM card properly. The next day (November 15), I returned to the store and explained my situation, hoping to return the phone or find a solution. Unfortunately, the staff told me that since the packaging was opened, they couldn't assist me. This response left me very disappointed, as the phone was completely unusable. In the end, I left the phone as a free gift for the store and walked away, deciding that I will never shop at JB Hi-Fi again. I hope the store reviews its return policies and customer service to prevent others from having a similar experience.

I purchased a TV antenna for my mother and it wasn’t compatible with her Television so I needed to return it, return and refund processing was easy and excellent
Too much frustrated with their online services I placed an order 3 times on different day. But it gets cancelled automatically the moment I placed. I called the online services which was of no help really disappointed.
Got Mini 4 pro from them
Today I went in to purchase a few games and one of games the disc was available but unfortunately there were no cases for that game. The staff and manager were all super friendly, happy to help, and explained the situation and helped find a solution I was very happy with the service :)

Hire more staff ffs. Had to wait nearly an hour just to buy a headphone. Staff was rude and no experience and knowledge whatsoever. Whoever reading this, better to buy somewhere else. If there is an option, i would give not even 1 star. So frustrated, stupid store honestly

Huge shout out to Damian for being the perfect salesman in store the other day. Damian is the type of person you buy from because you trust, everything he up sold me was for my best interest and to make my life easier, rather than flogging a product for the sake of a sale. I also appreciate his patience and pleasant demeanour despite being understaffed and super busy. Well done Damian, you're a rarity! Ya worth more money, kid!

The staff and managers at JB Hifi are liars! Just so they can get money off customers they lie and charge for processes they shouldn’t be charging. Long story short: JB Hifi is a partner store for Latitude who needs to do ID verification for new applicants. When we went to get our IDs verified the staff and manager said we have to purchase an item of $1000 and above to do the ID verification. We confirmed with the Latitide Financial Services and they said no. When later we called the store the staff said they never said a purchase has to be made! Never trust JB HiFi Merrylands. The staff are liars and mercenaries who try to make a quick buck out of a customer’s humble request!

No body is around to help, i’ve waited 37 mns for someone just to ask if a TV was available in the store !!
