Just had X'mas Eve dinner here tonight at the Bistro (Mike's Grill) but it looks like the X'mas spirit is down on this place.There is no X'mas decorations and not even Christmas songs playing..Bit disappointing as it looks like it's just one of those ordinary day here!I hope they can do bettet than that next Chrismtas Season!

Friendly, decent food and drinks at good prices, but always some renovation going on

The facilities here consist of a bar and coffee area, a separate restaurant, lounge areas, a pokie machine area and function rooms upstairs. While children are permitted in here, I would not describe it as family friendly, more like family tolerant. This said, the bistro has recently been replaced with Mike's Bar and Grill. It has tasty meals and overall the club is a relaxing place to visit. This said, don't bother coming here for an afternoon coffee. We used to come every afternoon and even though the cafe was open, more often than not no one was at the counter. I would have to hunt around, ask in the kitchen, ask at the reception desk, until I found someone to serve me. One day I sent an email to management saying that if they intended to operate a cafe, then they should staff it. The next time we visited a waitress approached us, scolded us for sending the email and told us that preparing the function rooms upstairs was more important than serving us coffee. Fair enough. We no longer go there for coffee.

They are friendly and polite and hi the extra mile to assist you. Lovely food.

Wow ! Amazing staff, so good at there hospitality.... but the big one was the Salmon Poke bowl and Pork Roast ! Incredible dish, they HAVE to be the best in the area.

Portion sizes are more than generous, I did have a generic parmigiana on Thursday as the $22 special. Was lovely, service was friendly.

Food is like they give you a bucket full. Glass of wine 15 bucks.

It was hard to criticise Mike's on East in Sutherland. I asked for a medium rare rump steak and got more than I asked for: it was more tender than most rump, just as tasty as the best rumps, the brown sauce matched the steak beautifully all in a room that was almost full.

Sadly, dancing is no longer allowed at this venue.

We've been dancing at Club on East for years. They have live music on Friday and Saturday nights. There used to be a dance floor, when that disappeared people just danced between tables close to the band. They have reorganised the space and tonight we were told to stop dancing as there is no place to dance and were in effect, thrown out. Disappointed!

Always good for a feed and a beer

Did not have one drink the whole time but the very aggressive security made a point to remove me from the club. Absolute abuse.

The schnitzel is too big but good food

Lovely welcoming Club, very open and airy. Beautiful big dining area with plenty of options for seating, comfortable booths to large tables and comfy seating. Really good club meals, generous portions, reasonable bar prices, good variety. Nice coffee & a limited range of teas.

Huge meal and excellent service

Always guaranteed a fantastic meal. Doesn't matter what you order, absolutely great food. Just took a little longer wait than ideal, this restaurant was very busy when we attended. However, we were told that when we placed the order, we chose to have an appertiser while we waited. The staff were fantastic & we had a great experience overall.

The staff are insistent on having the doors open to the family room which deters families with younger kids as the area isn't enclosed. Small children run out to the foyer and to the stairs easily. It would make such a difference if a gate could be installed. Everything else is great

As a member I was denied entry by some clown on a power trip. I was accompanied by 3 other people that I had spent the afternoon with. None of us were beyond RSA and I had been granted access by the front counter. This place has gone dramatically downhill in the last 2 years. Absolutely appalled by the bouncers tonight.

We enjoyed eating at Club on East at Mikes Bar and Grill. We also loved the upstairs area for kids - baby play area plus skill testers and games for older kids, and you can eat up there too. Great for families.

A great place to go for a cold beer and great food, drinks are good price and Mikes Grill is always good, and to top it off all the staff were sensational

A great little pub. Front door a bit hard to find from car park. A good array of food. Grilled fresh fish and a huge fresh salad. Toilets very hidden but clean Brilliant 👏 5th

Celebrated my mums birthday. Great venue to hold a function. There is a lift to get up to the function room which really helped those who couldn’t use the stairs. Very clean place

As a probus group we visited the Tram Museum and came back to the club for lunch. The service and staff are excellent, friendly and helpful. The choice of food is extensive. The preparation and taste would be difficult to beat in any venue. Cost is very competitive. Has a good selection of beverage as well.
