Very nice little club. Really yummy Aussie-Chinese food - good size servings, great flavour and most importantly, predominately meat rather than batter. Staff accommodated the needs of my physically restricted aunt intuitively and politely. The only surprise was a cost of takeaway containers for left overs.

Lovely place to spend a while

I bought a chicken laska and a chicken chow mein for lunch & the laska smelt fishy & the chow mein wasn't crash hot either. Never going there again...

Chinese food used be good now extremely average. Not worth money. Price has increased $16.50 or specials $19 but portions servings seems to have shrunk. Fried rice used to be good plenty rice and lots vegs etc now smaller servings few peas bit egg that's it. Meat again seem to be getting less and less and varies every time you order even same thing every time not the same. Few staff in hurry to get out to TAB for bets. Very disappointin would not recommend.

27/12/2023 Friendly service out front where lady checks ID and membership cards. Good atmosphere in dining room at Bistro 8. Flavour wise, I've had better. Limited parking space in sheltered carpark.

Friendly and affordable dining experience. Wonderful staff and fast service in the restaurant. Loved the food. We are now regularly visiting. Nice friendly atmosphere in a smaller club. Very pleasant and genial crew.

Ordered take away Mongolian lamb usually pretty good but last night had no success,huge chunks of lamb could've been cut,and onions don't want the skin included thanx,tony Abbott would but not me

They catered for a wake & have a nice rememberence room upstairs. I was all organised very well. The Bar staff were amazing & the food was delicious. I highly recommend this venue.

Great Club loved the sat night vocals and good atmosphere and great staff. However my man's steak was not cooked well at all, very poor to say the least and full of grizzle fat, which put a big damper on going back in a hurry because we love our steak!

Visited for lunch on Friday. Club wasn't too busy. Bistro is mainly chinese with some western options. My combination noodles was yum.

Just wanted to share a wonderful customer service experience with an attendant named Heidi. Her helpful and caring attitude put my mother (who has early onset dementia) at total ease. The lady that signed us in, I didn't get her name, was equally as gracious. I wish all people in customer service roles were as caring and lovely as the ladies at Chester Hill RSL were. Thank you ladies.

Wow.. seafood lovers this will blow you away..tiny bistro serving the best mud crab I have had in years..oh and the oysters and scallops to die for It's down market for sure but if the food wasn't good I would put it out there

Thought this club would be nice for Mother’s Day lunch, which we shared with the lady at the front desk. The menu looked quite good and inviting. Whilst my husband was able to sign in, I was told that I would have to join the club before allowed entry. We understand there are rules, however, it was for lunch, nothing else, just a meal. It must be nice to be in such a healthy financial position that you are able to turn away paying customers. Btw, the pub meal was great.

Went fir lunch. The Asian cuisine is good and not expensive, but the so called Western Menu is not so good... A bit dry, especially the chips. You can get soft drinks or alcohol at a nearby bar, but a coffee means going to another section of the club, on the next floor and walking it back.

With covid happening. They've increased gaming area and decreased the sitting area. But the bistro serves reasonable priced quality meals.

Went once and wanted to go back. Bistro has a great choice.
