This was a surprise. The motel is just off the coast near a bar and gaming area. I was a little concerned, but there was no need. The room was very functional and spotless. Great shower, toiletries provided, very comfortable bed with nice bed linen. A good-sized sofa, fridge, microwave, kettle but also plates, glasses, cutlery. You could also park the car directly outside the room. We were just passing through but had a great stay.

Never stayed there, so can't comment on rooms. But the service is great, friendly staff and the location is excellent...because it's close to home

Last minute booking was done directly. Good location with bars, restaurant and coffee shop in walking distance.

Rooms are clean and new or at least newly reno? Aircon needs a little care as it's a bit weak for a 34degree heatwave. It's budget friendly. Not the closest if you'll be travelling to city of hobart and bruny and the likes but free parking is a plus (parking gets expensive in hobart cbd). Service was a bit ok, stayed for 3nights and no milk, coffee and shower gel refill.

Stayed for a night, rooms clean and comfortable. Only issue for us was not having air con so made it a bit stuffy overnight. Service was awesome, such lovely people and relaxed. Food not quite as good, but not bad.

We live locally and love meeting friends and family in the Bar for Thursday night drinks and Meat Raffle etc.

There are too many spiders, and they are right above the bed I don't feel safe and would rather sleep in my car!!!!!!! I would like for you to get rid of the spider after every time someone leaves. I liked the hotel it is just all the spiders in my room!!!!! So please get RID OF THEM!!!! Thank you for listening.

Great service and great staff and friendly and great rooms

Spent one night here on our last day in Tassie. Conveniently located near the airport. Rooms: big with aircon. Very clean and no weird smell. Comfy beds although can be better (they’re a bit noisy when you turn, especially for light sleepers). Pillows are very good. Walls are a bit thin and I could hear the water running each time the neighbours were in the toilet. They have a very nice restaurant with an extensive menu but we didn’t try it this time. All in all, a very good place for a short stay.

The best bar meals this side of the Derwent. They really know how to grill a steak perfectly, and the pork cutlet if it's on that day. Wheelchair accessible easily with disabled spaces right next to the bar door and also the lounge on the other side of the building. You can also go to the lounge dining room for more options, but the bar meals are excellent and a few dollars cheaper and just the same. My favourite is the pork cutlet which is not always available, followed closely by the T-bone - always perfectly cooked medium for me, and always tender. Kitchen open all day from lunch, so you can go anytime. My go to when I can't be bothered cooking myself 😊

Nice little hotel 20 minutes from Hobart airport. You can have dinner in the pub in the evening and breakfast in the nearby supermarket in the morning...Everything is available in the room...Practical that you can park directly in front of the room exit

My family and I had a great meal here, lots people but didn't seem to be too loud, outside are was good for kids to play or have yr meal. Recomend you join the discount club it's well worth it. Will be back, great job by all. Mark & Tracey

Nice staff and decent range of beers on tap

Before making the trip, not sure a night in Lauderdale Foreshore Hotel is good, as Hobart is not that far away. It turned out, it was a good night stay. The hotel room was good and car park is just right in front. The restaurant, gaming room and bar are lively and staff were friendly. Had fun with the slot machine and KENO. It has been ages since I last played KENO. Plus point.. There was a live band playing in the bar. A week in Tasmania, this was the latest hour of the night that I had gone back to hotel room. Lastly, beautiful evening view across the street.

Have stayed here a few times and find the rooms clean and comfortable. Bistro does great meals. Usually travelling with friends while attending events, and we arrive tired, wanting a good meal and a couple of beers, and a comfy bed. This place ticks those boxes! Lovely location as well. It is a distance from Hobart CBD, easy access to the airport and eastern shore.

Did not stay in the hotel, just visited the restaurant

Great meal

Great food

Very comfortable units, spacious and well furnished. Very efficient and quiet aircon. Staff were lovely.

Clean tidy rooms, great service from staff. Some noise in the evening from patrons at the pub.

If I had one complaint, it would be that the walls were a bit thin and I could hear the guy next door, but other than that I had no issues.

Great food, great service, and great beer! What more could you ask for.

Great meal..great location

Great food for a great price ..very Family friendly and the staff are amazing. We can't wait to go back

Hotel was easy to get to from the airport and a good location to use as a base for road trips. Loved having my own patio to enjoy a morning coffee as well as being able to park outside my door

Nice large rooms with excellent bathroom facilities.

Good food good service 😁

L'hotel est très bien, confortable, propre, manquait juste un tapis de salle de bains.

Didn't stay in the room's, we went for an evening meal, had Scallops chips & salad $32, forget it, not even worth $20, they put the salad on the plate with chips and Scallops and the salad was warm, how hard is it to put it in a small bowl were it won't get warm... Save your money and by pass this place and head for the Queens Head pub in Elizabeth St, about 380 I think it is, grab the scallops meal from there $26 and it's a to die for meal, guarantee you won't be disappointed. Wine and a beer $20 buck, 7 for the beer and 13 for the wine, we get this back on the Central Coast NSW dor $12, such a rip-off. Head to Queens Head motel, you won't be disappointed..;-)

Reliable pub grub. Nothing stunning but I've never had a bad meal there and it almost always busy with locals. Shame the dining area doesn't take advantage of the view.

Didn't stay in the rooms. Had a meal with a friend. Told roast pork (with crackle) received ham covered in gravy & crackle was that hard you could have filled a pothole & the road around it would have worn out first. Bar staff were friendly & polite

It's ok needs to be refurbished though not very clean

stay in Hobart for 3-4 nights 4-5 times per year. I have been staying here on & off for around 18 months. Unfortunately my travel allowance no longer covers it so I'll look for somewhere cheaper. I was unable to negotiate a corporate rate. Rooms, facilities, cleanliness etc etc all excellent, just not prepared to pay the difference out of my pocket. Also, it's a fair way out of town so may not suit everyone. Note takeaways etc close early if you plan to eat out locally. The motel kitchen will prepare meals off their menu tho it is very expensive for fairly average food. They will not bring it to your room (around 75 metres from kitchen) so you'll be carrying it yourself, rain, hail or shine.

The Bistri was very poor. I ordered the stir-fried vegetables in a sauce with rice. The vegetables were steamed or boiled and mixed with the sauce. The vegetables were a frozen medley. Very disappointing. The plum pudding was ok but not high quality, and the custard it was swimming in was out of a box. Ice-cream but no cream.

Pleasantly surprised.

Great fast meals and ideal outdoor area for kids

Avoid the bistro at all costs, terrible food, order beef brisket and get a plate of nothing but fat with tonnes of gravy...🤮

This is our local hotel and we mostly go there for the bottle shop which is excellent: it has a great range and the staff are friendly and helpful. We have eaten in the restaurant a few times and the food is just average. The bar is very much a sports bar and serves the local community and seems to be frequented by a large numbers of tradies. The staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable. There is plenty of room and there is an outdoor area which is fine in good weather and has lovely views out across the bay.

Worst meal I have had anywhere

Went just for dinner. Food was tasty ,service was good. The actual dining area is very spacious and well designed.

Great friendly service. Highly recommend

Clean & spacious room.

Very spacious area and generous portion sizes

Had tea here 2 nights in a row. Found the meals and service to be good.

A little out of Hobart so allow for traveling times

GREAT SPOT , STAFF GREAT DINING IS EXCELLENT

Meals came.out quickly despite have our group of 25 and another couple of big tables. Food was great and well presented

Service great but need more improvement cooking

Thursday 11/05/2023 Food Poisoning and it took staff an entire setting to just bring gravy over that I paid for and it wasn't even a full serving so ripped off to. The moment food poisoning was mentioned over the phone they hung up so I had to call again. Also been told over the phone that 3 people who got food poisoning isn't enough for an investigation or refund of the food. Never again with this place, total mistreatment.

A great counter meal and cold beer, What more does a person want.

Terrible and overpriced veggie burger 🍔 $24 for what looks like a frozen woollies $5 burger with McDonald's buns!!

Ok stay… had booked a room and the electricity didn’t work so we had to go to the only other room. Quite far from Hobart though…

Great service and great food 👍

Flughafen nahes Motel mit too Ausstattung.

Fabulous atmosphere, great service and food was delicious

Big shop here with many craft beers and a host of local and international wines. Great service!

Orders Tempura prawns....which were actually defrosted cooked prawns dropped into a batter... definately not tempura...cold and hard inside. Obviously not freshly cooked from raw. Fobbed off. Waste of money

Great selection of drinks

Beautiful place to stay.

Fairly modern and tidy throughout. Rooms were fairly spacious. Comfortable beds with most basic items included, such as a refrigerator, tea & coffee, ironing board, etc. Adjoining rooms are also available IF you need more than 1 room. Recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay that's not too far from Hobart and fairly close to Port Arthur.

Great pub with a great view. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is good and very reasonably priced.

Hit and miss. Had some really good meals here in the past but had some worse than bad meals as well. On our last visit, after a very long wait, we were told two things we ordered were unavailable as the kitchen staff had 'forgotten to order them'... They also put fake reserved signs on nearly every table on Friday and Saturday nights, yet when you ask, they can always accommodate you... Update: latest visit (2+ weeks ago) was definitely a big miss... Creamy mushroom and pea risotto finished with Parmesan (as stated on menu) consisted of a heap of orange clag, one shredded mushroom, half a bag of partially frozen peas and no parmesan. Not recommended at all. After dining here and at Mornington Inn in the last weeks, I will choose Mornington every time from now on. Meals much better, prices much better, service nicer and no fake reserved signs on tables at Mornington Inn.
