Beautiful historic hotel, friendly workers, exquisitely renovated rooms and parking at the door.

Yeah not bad. Quite cheap, basic room big bed, windows don't open so no fresh air, foods good and pretty good value. Has room service, but no phone. Pub itself not bad either. Would stay there again.

We stayed one night but were satisfied with the room - clean and comfortable. The hair dryer was good!

A great value hotel across from Pymble station. The rooms were clean and serviced daily. They could add some clothes hanging hooks as there was no way to hang clothes while staying.

Lucy- manager was fantastic. Friendly, kind, efficient and caring. Bar staff Jack and Ryan were super helpful. Great food and service. Beautiful room, clean, comfortable and spacious. Coffee/ tea milk complementary in the room. 10% off food in the restaurant and free drinks vouchers on arrival.

We needed a place to stay before our open home the next morning, and our local hotel was the perfect place. Comfortable, super clean room, nicely renovated bathroom and block out blinds for a sleep in! Having the welcome drink was a lovely and unexpected touch. We enjoyed dinner and dessert while watching sport on the big screen. Great night, lovely friendly service. Thank you! Will definitely stay again.

My friend and I needed a one night stopover for an early appointment and the hotel was very reasonably priced. The room was very well set out but with tea and coffee making facilities and complementary water bottles. Bathroom newly renovated and bed very comfortable. There was a little bit of traffic noise but not enough to stop you from falling asleep. Would definitely stay here again.

No hot shower in the entire hotel rooms for a couple weeks. No actual receptionist, bar staff tried to dealing with issues, temporarily fixed it, but no hot showers in the morning again. Only compensation they offer was free drinks, and no staff anywhere when you leave the hotel, so unprofessional. The hotel is in between a busy road and a railway line, quite noisy(Room3). It was second time staying the hotel, but no third time for sure.

Friendly and clean environment with some old charm.

The hotel is an old renovated building. This is quite far from the central district area. It is in the urban part of Sydney. No fixed reception area. You will just enter in the pub & look for the person in charge of the hotel. There is no elevator & there is nobody to call f u need assistance to carry your baggage to your room. In case you need breakfast you have to walk for 10-15 min outside the hotel for the pub will only be opened at 10am. Will not recommend to others.

This is probably the most worst accommodation i've ever been. I only booked a room for a few hours without even entering the I ask for a cancellation and refund. The manager said to me that it has to be at least 24 hours to cancel in advance.So my choice can only be either stay or leave. I do not believe this is good service and good faith. I will definitely not come back here at all.

I was in the hotel on Friday night having a drink and the Irish music was great and made the night really fun

Went to the Pymbe hotel on Friday 15th March And enjoyed a few pints of Guinness the traditional irish musicians was As good as i I’ve seen in a long time

Can’t fault the room - spacious, plenty of tea/coffee and milk! Yay! Cold glasses in the fridge, welcome drink to the value of $10, 10% off food in the pub downstairs. Modern room with usb ports beside the bed, iron/ironing board in the room with hairdryer. Air conditioner worked very well. Very comfortable and enjoyable. Very strict on check-in/check-out times as a room card is required for outside door access outside of pub hours. The staff are very short with you if you need access without a key.

I was in this hotel on sunday night and it was so crazy accomodation. Around 3 a.m. fire alam started to ringing and all guests were in the street for 1 hour. Nobody assist us for this crazy problem while anybody was sleep at the time. Customer servise was so cheap and reception staff were so aggressive. The room facilities have low quality and A/C does not working very well. I asked for refund but they never responded to me and even they did not say we are sorry if you are unhappy. Sorry for the mangement who is managing this low quality hotel. I never try this hotel in the future and I never recommond to anybody to stay here even a night.

The room seemed to be clean. Check in was smooth although a little confusing since there was no proper check in counter. I had to go ask at the bar. The other thing that wasn't noted in the description is, there is no lifts and you have to walk up the stairs to get to your room. So if you have difficulty with stairs, please take note. Entering the room, I noticed 2 packets of ear plugs! However I didn't find the room to be that noisy. I had the room facing Pacific Highway. Being a long weekend, it was quite ok. I removed 1 star from the review because I had to dispose a cockroach in the bathroom on the last night. The other thing to note is the lack of ventilation in the bathrooms. If you have a hot shower, it takes time to clear and apparently from the warning sign, it might trigger the smoke detector! Otherwise it was an ok hotel for the money spend. I slept well and it was easy to get to.

After a terrible experience here 3 years ago I decided to give it another go. Greeted by new management Dearbhla was a breath of fresh air. Food was generous, delicious and served quick. Will be back. Guinness on tap was great to boot.

Had dinner here for the first time tonight. I had the lamb taco special. Wow! Generous serving, delicious tender pulled lamb, sour cream, avocado and spicy salsa. I managed to get two down, my husband ate one and the rest came home with me. Very impressed, we will be back.

Based on my experience I would highly recommend the Pymble Hotel. The staff are amazing, friendly, accommodating and very focused on delivering a good experience. It is good, down to earth accomodation at a very reasonable price. The pub serves decent food and is comfortable and relaxing. If your looking for a practical place to stay, that is clean, homely and well run, this is your place.

Great location. Friendly staff. Really lovely atmosphere & well managed. Have been here a few times for dinner. The food is great & really good value. Have had friends stay here from interstate & they were very impressed and pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms & the convenient location.

Modern hotel rooms. Great pub, but the choices for food are quite limited. Not much to choose from if you don't like schnitzel or steak. Smart TV in the room was a life saver

Great little pub/ hotel. The staff are super attentive. Food was delicious, had the scotch fillet and grilled fish of the day. The room was spotless and the bed super comfortable. There’s a few bar areas to choose and the locals were lovely. The venue feels very welcoming.

We booked 4 rooms at Nightcap at Pymble as it was close to family and the location for a family celebration. We didn't eat a lot here but we were all happy with the food we did have and found all of the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. Even though it is on the highway we couldn't hear the traffic. We all agreed that we would stay here again.

We enjoyed our brief stay at the Pymble Hotel. The lady who checked us in was really friendly and helpful, and the room was modern, spacious and clean. Location right near the highway was very convenient too, and we barely noticed the road noise.

Very nice room. The room wasn't big, but it was comfortable and quiet. A huge nice bathroom. Very conveniently located a short walk away from the station, though it wasn't obvious how to access it from the station. Google Maps helped. Much better than it looked from the outside!

A surprise amount pubs accomodation. Very nice appointed room, Clean and simple, soundproving was great, even for near to the highway. Service downstair was also fair good, staffs are happy and helpful and the meal is far better than normal pubs meals. The Curry Lamb Pie is a big surprise. Will stary next time and recommended for other for some simple but enjoyable stay.

Really nice room for cheap! Was clean, and modern.

Stayed there for two nights, the room had only a milky glass, which was horrible. Couldn‘t look outside, which made us feel trapped. The rooms are small, the bathroom is in good condition, so is the bar.

Stayed there Saturday night after seeing my granddaughter on her first birthday before returning to warmer climes. Had stayed there a few years before on a previous visit to Sydney, it had been crude but the owners were nice and tried bloody hard to make us welcome and comfortable. This time we found it had been taken over by the nightcap group. At first glance it was ok but it soon turned terrible. The room had no heating, the new paint on the roof was peeling, the gaps in the fireplace had been “sealed’ with exposed pu foam. We froze all night even with the non functioning reverse cycle aircon on 27. Then we got up to find no cooked breakfast and what were we supposed to do with the one sachet of cornflakes and a single serve of milk and OJ ?? Pour a little into each of the two cups I suppose! Save your money and buy a cardboard box and sleep under a bridge. It will be warmer and you will get a better breakfast from licking a wall! Bloody rip off!!

Travel to Sydney infrequently from Tamworth and i always stop at the Pymble Pub for a beer. Had out first meal here today and my wife and I were very impressed. Great service, great food and a beautiful clean pub atmosphere. Currently typing this while using their clean and lovely smelling utilities. Great job guys.

Halved the size of the kids burger to a slider for same $12. Parmis used to be awesome, now cheap cheese and still went up in price 6 months ago. They won’t bring the pool table back instead just chalk up the price of frozen food. Disappointing

The most we liked was the design overall. Great and comfy bed, we sleeped well these nights. You have a lot of parking spaces here and a train station nearby, wherefrom you can reach the city center of Sydney. Historical reception and hall interior. We got two complementary drinks from the bar as we checked-in. Full height mirror.||Disliked · The room was a bit small, not enough space for luggage or clothes. There was a strange smell of sewage in the room, but not all the time, perhaps after a rainy day.

Don't have much experience staying at budget hotels. So, no idea if it's normal in such hotels. Paint was peeling in some areas. Air-conditioning was making rattling noise. Next to busy road and train station. I guess that's what ear plugs were provided for. Bed, shower and tv were decent.

We stayed 2 nights. Renovated rooms in old style hotel. Our room was very small, not much space around the bed. Bathroom was well renovated. Air-conditioner unit was very noisy & hindered our sleep. Rooms are upstairs with steep access stairs (carrying bags) & no lift. Roadside car parks didn’t look secure & had us worried but our car was untouched. Our evening meals were not enjoyable. No significant breakfast was available. Good location with walking distance to railway station and some local shops. Staff were friendly and the premises was clean & tidy.

Stayed here with my family for a night. You had to check in at the bar (which didn’t go well), then there was no elevators, and when we got to the room, my god how bad it was. Smelly, old beds, paper thin walls (you could CLEARLY hear cars passing by on highway), the bunk bed had screws missing and was creaking a lot, lights weren’t working properly, shared bathrooms that were just disgusting. Only stay if you have nowhere else to stay. I wouldn’t even give this place a 1 star.

Great prices, rooms comfortable and clean. Probably one of the best mattresses out there. Later check ins and out of hours key dropbox. Food and drinks can be ordered to the room using a QR code. Staff very friendly and check in process simple. Stayed while travelling Melbourne to Brisbane and great position to get out onto the highway early.

Old fashoined pub with refurbished rooms on first story, no lift , 19 steps to first floor.|I was tad worried about car park near entrance as it is virtually on the footpath with no barriers but it was perfectly safe.|The helpful bloke who booked me in deserves kudos, I asked him at one stage did he live there? as he seemed to be there constantly.|I was very irritated as TV didnt work, even after the aforesaid helpful bloke came up to room it still didnt get any ABC channels.|It didnt seem that important when I mentioned it to staff and asked that management be made aware.|Now overall service wasnt that flash, At times no one behind bar or in restaurant area, I saw quite a few patrons milling around both areas waiting for service, menus behind bar so I saw patrons waiting to get a menu frequently in the 3 nights I stayed and ate there.|Drinks list on bar, Wrong prices on it, I pointed that out and noticed prices were updated next night.|Odd, wine I was drinking was on old menu, I was told they only had 2 different SSBs but drinks list on website stated a couple of other ones as being available ( They werent) and the wine I was drinking was listed as unavailable???? |All minor anomalies which will not stop me staying there again, which I will do.

The rooms are very nice, but room servicing is hopeless. And more importantly if you are ok being abused by a manager when your room hasn't been cleaned, then this is the place for you. I reported this incident to their management a month ago and am still waiting to heard back; They don't want repeat business, so they have succeeded with me.

We had a front room right on the Pacific Highway and despite the double glazing it was definitely the most noisy hotel room we have stayed in. Funnily enough we both had a very good night sleep in the comfortable bed. The free drink and 10 percent off the bistro and the breakfast pack made our stay great value. So do ask for a room not fronting the highway and you should have a good stay in this old but nicely refurbished old pub.

What a great idea. taking over the accommodation part of pubs and DOING IT RIGHT. I've been going to the Pymble Pub for many years as a local, but moved away some years ago. Coming back to visit friends, I was told about Nightcap, and decided to give it a go. Excellent experience. Clean room, comfy bed, hot shower. Sure, it's small, but who cares it's got everything you need. Attention to detail like keeping the external windows of this historic building in place and double-glazing internally is very smart. Even provided ear-plugs if traffic noise is an issue which it was not. Love it

I live in the local area and consider the Pymble Hotel my favourite watering hole .... The Staff are amazing people under the guidance of an amazing Licencee Dave ....The manager Matt .. Lachlan , Bo ... are great people and with super people skills .. The food is amazing with Tatiana the head Chef and is Michelin chef. The Staff are just all top shelf

I’ve eaten at a lot of different places in the area but I must compliment the manager and his staff for the outstanding level of service that he provided to our group whilst we spent several hours at the venue yesterday evening. The service was top notch and the food was excellent, such a lovely and welcoming venue.

Rooms are comfy, brekky box average, grateful for one free drink and 10% off any dine in meal, smallest shower ever encountered, best value for a night stay! I have to say 200 words so .....it was pleasant

I checked in yesterday night ........ firstly they didn't get my booking which was done before 10 days ......after half an hour they got my booking in hotel .....they given me keys when I open the door there was someone else in my booked room ......that's really disappointed for us.....the room was too conjusted.....we had first time in Sydney had a bad experience with this hotel....I will not recommend....and the manager was saying that's a healthy mistake but how can it possible with the booked room ....no ratings for this hotels....

The accommodation is excellent value for money. We only needed the one short night stay and it was perfect. Rooms very clean and pleasant. Staff, including the bar staff, very helpful and friendly. All things considered I can’t fault it.

The nightcap pymble hotel is a hidden treasure. When you walk through the old wooden doors, you are taken back in time to an art deco era. Great food, rooms refurbished and very comfortable and service pretty good too. David the manager is a legend and went above and beyond when my booking was mucked up. Has a bws bottle shop attached, doesn’t do breakfast but you can get a breaky pack. A top place to stay

The room has what you need with a very comfortable bed. The location is great in easy walking distance to the railway station. Parking was provided free. Meals were excellent and the staff were very courteous. I will definitely be back.

It contains a good bar and dining area as well as clean stylish and comfortable accommodation.

Very well prepared food. Beetroot and Goats cheese croquets were delightful. Calamari entree was main size and delicious. Very quiet on a Sunday night. Bar & dining room decor largely unchanged from the 30's.

Good food and prices. Service was good as well, we had lunch on a Friday and wasn't crowded

Will be back! Booked in for 2 nights and the rooms are very clean, comfortable and everything needed. The food is amazing and well priced. Pub atmosphere is great for everyone and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Excellent service by Matt & staff, food is top notch! Chef Clifford handled kitchen section really well! The steak was 10/10! Great job guys!
