No movie or music department, what's the point of this store

Given incorrect advice by sales person, he was confident even when I asked him to check which led to hours and hours lost in work flow. Spoke to Store Manager about error and she didn't care, didn't offer an apology and was rude, then hung up and didn't solve anything. I didn't want anything extra, just wanted what I asked for, apparently you can't get that at JB. Enjoy the review store manager. You attitude was childish.

I purchased a Nokia flip phone from this store yesterday and while configuring the device, inadvertently set it to Chinese language! In desperation, I returned to the store and spoke with Aaryn who happily took on the challenge. He cleverly used Google Translate to read the Chinese menus and in no time, returned the device to English. I would like to complement the store and in particular Aaryn for his technology skills, but also for his politeness in dealing with my embarrassing situation. I believe Aaryn has already received appropriate acknowledgement from management for his handling of my matter.

Great staff and very happy with the service

This is not the first time I have visited the store and no one comes over to assist. I even visited the counter and they asked someone to come over and no one did. Plenty of workers in the store putting tags up and two people chatting on the exit. I seriously can’t be bother visiting your store again. I hope this improves for future customers. Please note I rarely give bad reviews. I wish I could give you ZERO STARS.

Amazing customer service! Was greeted by a lovely worker named Emily who was able to point us in the right direction, the team at the counter were awesome and efficient and when leaving Emily was bubbly and and polite, will be back!

Pretty good shop to buy your electronic needs However, the Home-maker Store on Mlulgoa Road no longer sells actual music. Pretty silly in my opinion.

JB Hi-Fi Jamisontown is such a gem! Compared to Rouse Hill (where I live), this store is better because it’s not as busy, making it easier to browse and get help when you need it. Both stores have friendly staff, but the quieter vibe here makes shopping a breeze. Highly recommend!

Oh, if I could give this place a 0 for the way they treat their customers, I would! My interaction with one male staff member made me so angry that I walked out on him. When I enquired about a price of a phone and told him I had been given a better deal at not only a competing store but also a much better deal at their own branded store he all but called me a liar saying 'I could get a lower price from any store and come here and pretend to have gotten a better deal'. I stopped short of asking to see his manager. I basically said,'If that's how you treat your customers, I'll go straight to Harvey Norman'. Truly. Save yourself the headache with this particular store. Harvey Norman gives more of a discount, and staff are friendlier and more customer service based. Shame on you, Jb. Hi Fi penrith, for how you treat your customers. I truly hope you lose business because of my post as you don't deserve to be running unless you can improve your customer service. You should absolutely be ashamed of yourself. The conduct and behaviour towards customers is atrocious. I work in retail, and while 'the customer is always right' isn't always true, there's a way to work with the customer to ensure they feel heard and validated, not called a liar.

Sarah at the Jamisontown store provided great and friendly service and provided a competitive price compared to an online offer on a new Fitbit Sense 2 watch. A large store close by was unable to provide such a competitive price. Result is I'll try JB Hi-Fi at Jamisontown store before any other store for future products.

Tyson was absolutely fantastic helping me understand differences in TV technology and how each would suit my needs and wants. I’m just waiting for Black Friday to make the purchase. But I cannot recommend Tyson enough for all your TV purchasing needs. He is phenomenal

Got rid of CDs (that are now moved to the Penrith Westfield store) to have more small appliances, just before I went there specifically to purchase CDs. Boo.

Keriakos is a lovely young and enthusiastic gentleman who has helped me throughout my stressful time at JB HI FI while I was looking for a present for my girlfriend! This young man has showed me that there really are bright young stars out there who are willing to help and make a name for themselves. If any manager is reading this, Keriakos will be the next face of JB HI FI Penrith.

Buying a new mobile phone has always been a big nightmare for me. During my search I visited this store and to my good luck I happened to meet Blake Moss who made my work easier as he explained to me in detail about a few phones but he didn't pressurise me in buying the phone which was a true professional way. His customer service and explanation was extremely good, clear and correct leading to me buying a phone. His colleagues were also very helpful. A highly recommended place to buy electronic gadgets which are reasonably priced.

Horrible ! First interaction from male Caucasian fat built! Asked a question and made me feel like a complete idiot! Having signage around the merchandise of 20% off ASUS and Lenovo price on ticket said 1699 had asked him if it’s 20% off this sale ticket and he scanned the barcode and said” am no it’s suppose to be $2199” and chuckled and walked away didn’t even try to see what I was after or anything in the nature of customer service ! Buddy if you hate your job please quit and stop putting customers off being excited to buy a new gadget completely turned off buying in retailers now going online better price and no judgement. Please train your staff how to respond accordingly this was not the first rudeness I received from this store had visited and was treated like I was trying to steal. Only because I had my keys on my hands and that guy had the audacity to ask me to show him what’s in my hands. Plot twist it’s the SAME GUY!

Good shop

We took a laptop back that we purchased 6 weeks ago as it stopped working. Chris had a look at it there and then a resolved the issue which was a result of us letting the battery go flat during a critical update. Not only did he identify the issue but ran the updates to make sure there were no problems, powered it down and back up again. It was not just his technical knowledge but also his interaction with us. Customer service at the highest level, thanks very much Chris, JB Hi Fi Jamisontown

Most of the staff should be commended for being super helpful and pleasant, unfortunately there are only 1 or 2 staff that are quite grumpy every single time you go in there. Apart from that the staff really seem to know their stuff, and if they can't help you, they'll get someone who can.

Cannot fault the staff and service here. Purchased a tv, gaming chair and gaming monitor. Extremely happy with the service we received.

I went in to store to speak to the staff as I lost my gift card email and they spent a long time with me trying to track it down and what the balance was. They managed to track it down and replaced it for me what a great team that work here I will always shop at this jbhifi and have in the past great service. They went out of there way to help me. I went to this store to make a simple purchase. I stood around for about five minutes and after seeing three staff members helping one shopper and another two socialising with another shopper I finally asked if someone could help me. After asking I was advised to wait 'over there' and told they would get someone to help me. I then saw that almost every other person who walked in after me was approached to see if they needed help. I waited for a few more minutes and then left prior to which i told the person on the door why I leaving, I'm sure she didn't care. The store wasn't busy, I had one simple question to be answered. This store was seriously not interested in the fact I was in there. Shame on you Jbhifi.

This place is great. Food layout, stuff everywhere. Only one thing that disappointed me was that I came in for something but it was only at the penrith Westfield store.. that was unusual to me. The staff here are dedicated and helpful.
